Street food in India is their culture. It may be different or not as sanitary as other first world countries..but it is their culture. People there have grown up eating street food, and their bodies are highly likely already immune to it. It may be a little dangerous for tourists to eat their street food & risk getting sick, but its not right to comment on how "nasty as fuck", "gross" their food are. Food is food; these people grew up eating them, and many spend their lives learning and mastering how to cook them well. Even though I agree that they should practice a bit of hygiene, I think the least we should do is respect their food culture and habits.
Just no. They don't grow up eating street food, they buy food and make food at home, same way you do. Also define immune, because you can't get ''immune to street food'' you can get immune to certain types of diseases, but the amount of diseases that your body cannot become immune to and are shared through unhygienic food handling, are imensurable.
DAMN that looks tasty, fuck the "is it clean?" comments, i eat in the street whenever i can and i've never went sick, the only time i've gotten sick was eating at mcdonalds xD
two months in India.eating street food every day.some of the best food i have ever eaten.and never got sick.cant wait to go back.the people friendly.and food fasntastic
Onion and garlic and spices are natural food cleaners. And the strong smell of these in cooking. Will help to deter a dirty atmosphere and keep bacteria away. And high temperature cooking will kill off harmful food bugs.
Im Mexican and was living in India around 2 years. Street food is amazing tasty not that spicy than mexican food but I really miss that special touch...I guess I miss everything and everyone that I had met in that misthycal country
Don't judge others because you are not going to eat that food. They are cooking for them and others. You can judge in your kitchen if some one is cooking for you. The spices using in Indian cooking is best for your body. And the best part is 100% of Indian foods are cooked well. Not like people eating rare steak or half done tuna in west. For Indians half done food is for animals not for human. So its better to judge only the food on our plates..
I don't think people judge the way of cooking the food...but the hygienic conditions that seem to be not there! can be also delicious and tasty but... meat, fish and other product are dangerous when are cooked a too much i have hungry now!
THE GOOD OF LIFE Why bother others hygienic condition we just look our plates and our kids plates. 1000s dyeing in the middle east is it because of lack of hygienic? Some 21,000 children die every day around the world. Life is much bigger than our judgement and thoughts. Consider others as a human and better just leave to comment there way of living.
the people should stop to eat animals and derivate! 1 of the 3rd part of cereals, food for cow, is spend for feed this animal! AND THOUSAND AND THOUSAND OF LITERS OF WATER and the 1 of the 3rd part of this cereals will be in off for feed all the kids that everyday die in the world "unfortunately"! i stop to eat meat or animals and derivate as eggs etc etc! Good bless you and your people!
***** Little knowledge is worst than foolish ideas. First learn about a nation, culture, religion and history. Then come back and do comment MR carlos bothuque .
Haha....very amusing video. I really feel amazed at how some street food vendors work so hard n come out with such innovative dishes. Moreover, very nice of the guys to promote this man,s food on Utube. Food that is prepared in front of ur eyes r never dirty in fact who knows how we r served in 5stars.
I am not surprised of the hateful comments on this video. I live in the US and have been told that Indian food looks like shit, but in all honesty I feel like thats judging a book by its cover. For a person who hasn't seen a pizza ever would feel like its a pile of god knows what. End part of the story is, this food getting you sick is quite unlikely. Believe it or not but people survive on this. I ate street side food for 40 days straight in New Delhi and I was fine; on the other hand, got ridiculously sick after eating at red lobster. So quit hating. PS. I am gonna visit this place again!
Wow they were cooking real fast. The table looking like a mess is a dirt for those who have never cooked. Veggies, and onion pieces strewn around, salt and spices all over the place, happens if you are cooking this fast, and i dont think he would wipe his table clean and keep people waiting in line. BTW, Indians wont get diarrhea, you might, most of our food is cooked at extreme high temp and Indians arent keen on eating refriegerated foods, so we most of the time do not get diarrhea. You might, because your immunity is damn low. Thats why people in the west are having autoimmune disease at such rampant race, their immune system never learnt the difference between own and foreign and started attacking the own system, so its understandable that they are dtesting the sight of the table.
Indian street food is the best, but its very unhygienic. if your not used to it you'll probably get sick. the least they could do is try to find some plastic gloves to wear. The problem is they are poor and the street vendors do it to pay for rent. the gloves would cost too much but its something that should be mandated.
mmm yes, i like indian food, most of them smell good, and the taste also good, especially biryani rice with curry, but sometime too spicy, but its good^^
some videos should only be restricted to few countries... like this one for sub continent locations - India, Pakistan etc. no wonder offshore viewers don't have a clue about it. Its an awesome video of a street food of India... if u add this item in the restaurant menu of a 5 star hotel in USA with a price tag of $50, people will lick every ingredients off the plate... actually, people are doing the same thing here too but just at a price of $1.
The recipe and the food itself look delicious, but the untidy and unsanitary surroundings is not acceptable. I wish they can make it more presentable and clean. Indian delicacies is one of the most tastiest food I ever ate and it is really good. They are very talented and know a lot of technique in food preparations.
It is kinda hard to be "presentable" and "clean" since this is a developing country. People won't that much money to set up a shop which looks as good as those restaurant where you usually go, so don't blame on the hygiene
chan simon well these kinds of dirty take-aways are all over the world, even in rich countries as USA....and it's not excuse, clean that fucking pan and surrounding isn't cost even much money, even much time and even much effort......But i'm not surprised these people don't give a fuck about food hygiene, when they have no problem with washing themselves in the river full of dead bodies.....in the end they are full of diseases even without that food
Cooking at extreme temperatures and acids in your stomach can kill most germs and bacteria, but nothing can kill your self-inflicted prejudices and phobias. Most would rather eat stuff that is made from frozen, pre-packaged or pre-processed stuff and are ok with tons of preservatives, pesticides, chemicals and carcinogens, as long as their food is cooked using fancy machines and presented to them in a fancy way at fancy place. Really, street food is not meant for them and they should not be trolling such channels
This one doesn't look bad at all, unlike the other guy that made these with a side dish of hate XD I would give it a try. the advantage is that I live in a third world country, so I'm immune to this kind of crap.
For people who say this is "unhygenic", "unhealthy" and all that shit. Just step behind your favourite restaurant's kitchen and you'll get to know what is going on. Check out the storage room perhaps?? Haven't you people seen Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares? Go check that out! These street vendors cook at front of you with fresh ingredients! Not the frozen shit you're eating at restaurants...
This looked quite good. I've watched a hundred of these videos and this guy is as fast and skilled as any I've seen. His moves are elegant and even though he didn't seem to move particularly fast, he finished this bread omelette in far less time than most street omelette cooks do. The one thing that still completely mystifies me is why these Indian street cooks cut everything into so many small pieces and then cover it all with wet messy toppings. In a country where the traditional and primary means of eating is with the hands, it seems like sandwiches and other foods would be made to be plain and dry on the outside as possible, and yet every one of the cooks in these videos seems determined to make the food as sloppy and messy as possible. It's as if they want to make sure your hands get dirty and you spill something on your shirt before you finish eating. I just don't get it.
Solo So thanks for sharing ur amazing talent wid d world...ladies and gentlemen, pls give a big round of applause for d man who can puke up in his mouth TWICE!!!...Idiot.. -_-
