Om Yun-Chol won the gold medal in the men's weightlifting under 56kg class in London 2012. There he managed to lift 168kg in the air, about three times his body weight. 4 years later in Rio he even managed 169kg and reached silver!

Om Yun Chol shock the WeightLifting🏋‍♂ World back on Olympics London 2012 ,When he make Such Big Total for -56kg Class from B Group with Olympic Record on Clean&Jerk and Tie the WorldRecord 168kg for 293kg Total .And His Result defends on Gold🎖against Top Lifter from Group A included China Favorite Contender .
He competed again on Rio 2016 without Defeated since 2012 but this time he beaten by China Reigning 2008 Olympic Champion LongQingQuan even His Total increased to 303kg but Long make Better with Break WR .
Sadly he can't compete on Tokyo 2020 on New Class -61kg cause North Korean pulled their Athlete
