I was curious again, so I typed in the UA-cam search " eagles hotel california solo cover" I have to say I'm impressed!
If that doesn't show that people love them and are diehard fans, I don't know what does!

David I just found the YT video of DF himself demonstrating the solo-- both parts. I think you were right about DF writing the entire solo. He plays both parts seamlessly.

@@1rush1212 I probably will at some point. I've got the Hotel California solo almost memorized and need to work more on the timing. It's been an issue keeping the backing track up due to copyright claims also.

can you make an tutorial how to separate guitar tracks from a song please ı need ıt!
That can't be done. All the "isolated tracks" you find on youtube are taken from Rock Band and similar games where the game makers were given copies of the isolated tracks from the original master tape and they can be extracted from the game data. You cannot cleanly isolate anything from just the mixed version of a song.
this solo broke my string 2x!!
I've broke so many strings that I lost count. One way to solve this is to go to a heavier gauge strings. Like one step up. Another is a better quality in strings. Thanks for your comment!🙂👍

Aw man I had no clue this got taken down for such a long time! I used this all the time when I was learning the solo... and then I uploaded a cover of it... then I got 2.5K views... then Don Henley and UMPG copyright claimed it...
Yeah, I was pretty bummed. I figured stuff that was for educational purposes would be fine. At first it was blocked only in a few countries and then all. The re-post of it for the gain issue some were having stayed except for a few countries, but the comments were disabled. Most all of the videos using the backing track have been blocked. It really sucks, I so enjoy viewing them and seeing how well everyone was doing at the solo. I didn't monetize it as it was for learning the solo and having fun learning and playing. Anyway I'm glad it's available to view and use for now.
