I watched another guy earlier exhaust his troops running and change positions so many times I started yelling at my TV 😂. Was one of the most painful things to watch.

Yep, I watched Legend total war... He too moves the archers to shoot at the back of bandits. Instant routing.
it looks like satisfying combat although i hope in the v1.00 release the AI wont allow idle enemy units to just stand there absorbing arrows. there were half a dozen bandits that for whatever reason couldnt join the melee and backed up. they should at least have charged the exposed archers
I hope they add the ability to use cavalry and have your lord there with them. But I like the smaller battle style
Interesting - I fought the first wave with exactly that troop composition and approach, and I reliably lose every single time without them ever going below 10 soldiers per unit. I have no idea how to manage this, to be honest.

do u feel challenged during combat? u didnt lost a single man in a fight. and all ive seen in latest content uploaded (other youtubers) - enemy armies always lose no matter what. feels weird. hyped for the game, but combat looks extremely easy now
I haven’t fought armored units fully yet - just started playing about 36 hours ago so still trying to catch up to other creators
It did not work, my spearmen did not live that long, they were even 15/15 each
