  • We test Aquatec 58ELK120, Water Pump, 120 psi 115v 1.3 gpm, Mytee C305 - 58-ELK-120 - AP120 - 58-FLC-120 - G13761 that was shipped back to us as the customer stated it was broken. We told the customer that the factory has an all sales final policy but it does include a 1 year manufactures warranty against defects and 99.99% of the time to state it does not work is not a correct statement. Customer was informed if he returns the pump, we will test it while making a video, and then ship it right back to them to confirm nothing is wrong with this pump. Again 100% customer error. Nothing wrong with this pump. Works as described. Manufactured date code 11/06/2023 / serial number rubbed off by customer. Inv 113039. Notes about this pump. #1 it has a pressure switch installed on it. This means that when you are not using any water it turns itself off. When you start using the water, it turns itself back on again. Note the Allen wrench hole in the center of the nose of the switch controls when the pump turns on and off and it to be alliterated by the user based on the environment you use the pump in. #2 These pumps are sold in different voltages, 12 VDC, 120VAC and 230-240VAC. Please purchase the correct pump voltage to match your use. During winter time installation, use a hair dryer to heat up the plastic female pipe thread a little bit so you are less likely to crack the head of the pump during installation. Cracking the pump head is not a factory defect. We sell replacement shell heads if you do break the head. To wear out the pump is not a factory defect. If a pump seal kit fixes the pump, you used the wrong chemicals and did not rinse out the chemicals out of the head after each use. If a seal kit fixes your issue, this is not a warranty issue but an operator error issue. (we sell seal kits for this pump if you wear it out) www.steam-brit...
After installation you have to prime your pump head to get all the air out of the machine you just installed the pump in. On youtube search for 'steambrite prime pump' to watch a simple video how to suck out the air out of the pump head.
