Familiar with the problem: very bland, rainy and grey conditions for almost six months now here in The Netherlands. Not very inviting and inspiring, but we'll work with what we've got. :)

Yes Michael it was. I found nothing great photography wise but was good to explore a new area, even if the climb back to Cothelstone car park nearly killed me. 😂
@@IanBarrowPhotography Did you find the ruins of Ball cottages? I've not managed a good shot of it but I'm sure there is something there worth taking in the right conditions! ...and yes, if you went back straight up the hill, it is a bit of a test of stamina!!😂
