For what it's worth, forgetting a tripod is something I have done as well. I congratulate you for even hiking down there. Thank you for your video.

No way walking back up that hill. Will take you there one day. 👍

Have you tried going half a mile further along the top road and turning right towards Treborough? There's a 'rocked off' area about half a mile down that road where you can start the walk down and you can still park on the side of road. It is a zig zag path that used be through the steep woodland before it was logged and takes you to that first waterfall...and it's definitely not as strenuous as climbing straight back up the incline!

Yes Michael I did look at that way down but wanted to check out the other falls I know of near the incline as well. Although taking the bridleway route was so much easier than the full climb to the top of the incline on the way back up. 👍

Beautiful area, beautiful photos and a very nice, relaxing video. Liked the shots with the waterfall you normally struggled with the most: very nice, intimate feel to them and the additional subjects in the shots work very well framing the waterfall. 😃
Looks like the Gorillapod can be very useful in certain situations and can even create unique shots that would practically be impossible with a regular tripod. 👍

Thankyou Tim. Yes definitely made me think a bit differently and I need to remember not to get blinkered with comfortable options.

A positive from a negative, nice one. P.S. Peter Tavy is running well after all this rain. No Bluebells yet but plenty of primroses 👍
