I was Diana's freshman (now called first-year) trip leader in the fall of 1980. It was a very challenging bicycle trip through very hilly Vermont and New Hampshire terrain covering 60+ miles/day. She was strong, brave and indomitable as a 17 year old as well. With a little help from the 9-10 other young men on the trip, the 7 mile ride up Moosilauke on NH 118 is a day I will never forget.
She was a year ahead of me at Lincoln-Sudbury. A favorite Diana Golden memory is of her pursuing John Dalton at top speed with her crutches down West Hall, ponytail flying!
