Some thoughts on this solo.
I used the tab booklet that came with the DVD I found online to help learn some of this solo. Unfortunately the book is completely inaccurate on most of the speedy licks so I had to painfully transcribe those by ear to get it to match.
I also put in a lot of effort watching the way Allan plays this to not only get the notes right but also match his fingerings 100%; something that is lost on the other transcription videos of this solo.
The logic of Allan's playing only comes apparent when playing his lines exactly how he places them on the fretboard. I highly recommend anyone learning any Holdsworths licks to do the same as it unlocks some of his secrets.

these are really impresive guitar skills, gj man, I hate this kind of music, though. I wish you fullfilment and keeping up with your passion
