Try putting your spinach seeds in the fridge in a moist paper towel (put the paper towel in a plastic bag to keep it moist) and they'll germinate in the fridge in a week or so. Check them daily to make sure the paper towel doesn't dry out. I tried that last month after getting no germination and it worked.

Yeh it is very sad because they need to eat but have been displaced by “progress” so battling to adjust - but also frustrating because I would willingly share with them but my fruit get “bit-&-spit” before it’s ripe and veggies plundered and broken so we both miss out. Oh well.

What about Dhania? My dhania just started growing a few days ago but I'm worried the south easter will destroy it

It's not a problem u can still grow just make must u have a cover for it because strong winds will damage it n if it gets alot of rain on it
