Miracle Rogue, but instead of a Rogue, and using Miracles, you use a druid with infinite ramp, infinite card draw, and infinite armor, to deal infinite damage
I was the warlock, the reason why I played zoo was because I could only afford 10 packs with my gold and I opened a gold soularium so I just put it in my zoo. I did not have enough dust or cards to make a cool new deck. Pls don't hate me
It's fine, some people tend to forget that not everybody has so many mental problems that they spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars in a virtual card game
Even worse :D if you really have that limited dust you could probably only craft one well rounded deck in the last expansion... and you decided to pick zoo warlock
you're forgetting the true counter to Mecha'thun.. You wait till he blows his naturalise and spellstones, then slam down THE ONE, THE ONLY, MARIN THE FOX.. then watch him cry as he has a 0/8 that he can't get rid of...
? Gwent will recieve a major Rework(called Homecoming) in Oc/Nov/Dec, It Changes freaking everything you get full mill value for EVERY Card, when Homecoming launches( oh and the 20h Singlplayercampain will launch also), and currently you have no problems finding a match, the meta will(is) a bit stale until Homecoming launches.
Certainly looks like an aggro deck now though with so few decks having legitimate board presence. Zoo lock might be the purest tempo deck since the old Tempo warriors that actually ran 8 drops though.
29:16 he screwed himself by pressing the heropower. toast couldn't kill his own flobiddinous floop. all the warrior had to do was put down low attack taunts and try to win in smorc damage over the 2 extra turns he would've gotten
I downloaded HS again cus of this expansion, dusted all my wild cards and crafted golden whizbang, mechathun and some control warrior(my all time favorite deck) stuff. Atleast now im having fun.
xtal Which mecha'thun deck are you running? Cuz toast has like a bunch of different ones. I think the finished one he ran at the end of stream was good. But it gets countered by geist, so to counter geist you save both wraths, and take flobodinous (sorry idk how to spell this stuff) he took malf out tho, cuz it's bad apparently.
Prince Of Wolves ok I did not expect this HAHAHA tbh my deck doesn’t have the legendaries (I don’t have enough dust HAHAHA) he used other than mecha’thun, it has spreading plague tho
Isn't warlock mecathun almost strictly better? It draws almost as fast and doesn't require you to empty your hand at the end Edit: it also doesn't lose to geist
E-MA no yeah I agree druid draws faster and gets to fatigue maybe 3 turns before warlock can but warlock can still play the combo first as druid has to waste 3-4 turns emptying their hand while warlock can just play the combo with a full hand
Captain47 if u r thinking about kill mech thun with the 4 mana spell discard ur hand and empty the whole board, u need 14 mana on 1 turn. And with warlock u cant do that
I mean, if you're playing a slow deck against a Mech'athun Druid like, you could probably keep a small minion alive on their side of the board if you have a way to tank through their attacks since Mecha'thun requires an empty board to kill your opponent. An example being, the Warrior at 28:38 could've kept Floop alive for 2 extra turns since Toast didn't have a way to kill off his 7 health Floop in one turn and the highest attack minion Toast could attack Floop into was 3 attack. Playing some extra high attack non-taunt minions combined with fatigue damage and maybe a lucky hero power, the Warrior could've won this match-up if he identified that Toast was playing a C'thun deck and played around it accordingly.
21:25 Have to disagree with Toast here Of course the warrior could have something else to play to make use of the mana, but the mentioned "turn of free armor" is irrelevant if you're killing him with mecha'thun The 1 armor that you get should be more impactful than the opponent's 4
If you still want to do the combo but dont want to be affected by skullking geist just run voodoo doll and one galvanizer. That way you can do the combo without a 1 mana spell
Forgive me, but even with gavanizer and an invervate, isn't there a small issue? Doll is 3 mana and not a mech. Even playing Galv first, the setup is 14 mana. Toast can't gain that much mana. And if you can't setup a way to kill it the exact same turn your play it, your opponent can just kill it off while you still have voodoo doll in your hand, completely destroying the combo. And there's a lot more cards to ruin that than just 1 with the way it's done here.
I'm pretty sure Galv's effect is permanent, unlike Mechwarper's. You can play it any turn, as long as Mecha'Thun is in the hand, so it's 9+3+destroy Voodoo Doll Note: You have to kill Galv, if it's on the board
29:10 What if the warrior simply didn't hero power and ignored the 3/7? It would take you 3 turns to kill the 3/7 by trading into his minions. He could kill you by that time. Hero power was a mistake on his part.
Toast, this version of Mecha'Thun is affected by Skulking, but my boy Famous Jake made a version of it with Warlock using Bloodbloom, Cataclysm, two Galvanizers, and of course Mecha'Thun.
28:34 If that warrior knew the matchup he would have played a bunch of big minions and ignored your 3/7 which now has to attack his taunts twice for you to have an empty board. Giving barkskin to a minion you needed to have off the board was a huge misplay, though I suppose it is possible that you still had enough armor for it to not matter.
Misplay at 17:42 , could've save 1 fatigue damage. Shloud've Played Biology Project before Gadgetzan. Could've use wildgrowth and draw and Floop the next turn.
Why is this working so freaking well!? This is amazing! I love this expansion. I'm going back to my Zerek Priest and Zilliax Priest though. You can keep your drood.
That mech with the “At the end of your turn, deal 1 damage to all other characters” magnetised onto the (6) mana 2/6 lifesteal taunt and the hunter poisonous mech is so beautiful... Magnetic Hunter meta? Infinite board clears and healing for everyone!
At 18:00 you messed up with playing wild growth. Should have played 1drop legendary spell then spell stone to do 6 damage to gadgetzan killing him and gaining one more mana, use one innervate to be able to use wild growth and then use the excess mana card and moonfire face for one. Thus having hand be mecha'thun, innervate and naturalize for next turn lethal.
29:09 what if he doesn't kill the floop? Misplays with that iron bark it could have potentially taken you 3 more turns to kill that floop and that was easily 37 damage between fatigue his board and his hero power
A mage can use Counterspell to counter druid or warlock Mecha'thun and explosive runes to counter priest Mecha'thun. Just save some something to silence and you should be good to go. They won't have enough cards left to counter what you've done. Though you'll have a nasty 10/10 to deal with.
to play around Skulking Geist just keep mecha'thun, floop and starfire. T1 - play mecha'cthun and have your opponent kill it T2 - floop mecha'thun and starfire it, clearing your hand and killing your board T3 - jk no T3 cause u won the game
stillFLiP 50/50 chance of winning, if the secret is a snipe or runes, use the spells first. If the secret isn’t use the combo. I’d like those odds especially in a meta without much mage presence
Thomas Knudsen impossible considering once you hit 15 and 0 stars you can’t continue to lose stars. Or maybe the deck was just so bad that it deranked you anyways haha
18:00 Couldn't he get a next turn lethal setup if he Flooped (1 mana left) then spellstoned auctioneer (sill 1 mana left thx to floop), innervate (2 mana) into Wild growth, leaving him with innervate, moonfire, naturalise, Mech'thun and excess mana.
Penguins for the cup Because when I was new I wanted a good decision fast so I tried to make a Jade druid because I already had two of the legendaries, but then that rotated out so I made the cheapest good deck in standard, spiteful druid, then that fell so I made odd paladin and I wanted another deck so I made odd rogue and now that heal zoo was good I crafted leeroy and keleseth. I prefer variety over maining one deck
Luna/Lunas pocket/Mechathun/Aluneth. The best card in the game besides the rogue legendary spell for assassinating your deck is Aluneth. I run no spells and the 2 mana birb that pulls spells, so i have potentially 3 chances to draw it. But 1 mana Mechathun op. Your whole deck at 1 mana, and in your hand is also pretty op.
Hearthstone used to be so much fun back in the day, just before Blizz realized they could mold it into a moneypit. Gvg, Grand Tournament, Naxx.. Good times, before all the insane synergy cards. ShadowForm Priest Vs Control Warrior Matches,, i member
well... I play a shitty many minions mage and have the fun of my life, plus getting tons of free solo content every expansion. Hearthstone will always be crazy and unfair, and it always has been for the last two years.
This new expansion really is fantastic. I wasn't expecting much from the "magnetic" mechanic. but it's surprisingly powerful and fun to use, especially with Warrior.
You must have a clear board at the end, your opponent just wins by not removing your spreading plague dudes. So it is a very bad idea to put it in. Pyromancer for example can kill itself if you play the combo.
I had a guy play spreading plague against me and i kept sapping his minions until he ran out of cards and fatigued, then i didn't play anything. He got frustrated and played mecha'thun to try to finish me with the 10 damage per turn. I just killed it off and he insta-conceded.
Budget wincondition.Treant druid. Summon 6 treants wth 2/2. Use force of natures, living mana or landscaping, then use treespeaker 4/3. Ie turn all treants into 5/5 ancients. 34 damage.
Tried this deck. 2 for 2 so far (that's NOT a good measure of what the winrate is like, but it's a testament to how good the shell is - you can just pick it up and play it). But I run a copy of Spreading Plague (Sure, it's big. But it's just SO GOOD) rather than the legendary spell. It... kinda wins you the game by itself, sometimes (my first opponent, unfortunately, conceded, when I played it). I unironically think that this has some potential.
Any replacements for floops glorious goop and malufiron the pestilent? So far I just put in an extra moonfire and swipe and I'm still doing well. Climbing at least. Just wondering if there are better alternatives till I get those cards. Speaking of which. Which one should I craft first. I feel like Malfurion because he has added survivability and fits in more decks but I could be wrong.
Critical misplay on 28:36. If the hero power hadn't hit the Flobbidinous Floop, Toast wouldn't be able to to kill off Flobbidinous and thus would be unable to trigger the Mecha C'thun Deathrattle. Toast should've swiped his Flobbbidinous and used Barkskin on enemy minion.
The answer is: King Togwaggle. It works with Warrior. If u have 10 mana, play Togwaggle and the same turn play Explore Un'Goro. If he swap it back play Skulking Geist and gg. In that case i'm sure the druid cant use the combo. Just an example to break this braindead meta, i'm sure there are more ofc... Maybe something with Azalina...
So Toast my question is what happens if Violet illusionist is on your board and you kill your opponents Mecha'Thun on your turn while the immune is activated? Unstoppable force vs immovable object
Toast for more consistency dont run any bigger card than 5 mana. only Mechakathun. run as many small cards as possible along with pyromancer for the board clear while drawing. my biggest card in mine is nourish. i didnt even put swipe in there because i felt it was too slow. all you want to do is draw clear and gain armor.
You can beat Geist, you just need your 10/10 Mecha'thun to trade with their board, or copying it with Floop on the next turn and swiping him or trading it. That's a two-turn kill with no 1-cost spells.
Here comes the new Shudderwock Shaman...
Only good for a week...
Shit, what up?
Remember the one time that you killed mecha’thun
Omfg .. I might consider this, I have 1600 mana and idk what legendary to get, but I’m missing three in this deck and branching path 😒
pinksanddollar omg dude dont make this deck lol, its not good, never ever copy a day 1 deck
I love this expansion, just for the fact that I only have to craft a single card.

Marshmellow Whizzbang
I have to Craft 2
1 Golden Whizbang
2 Boomship
Bogyman the dark you know dr boom is a warrior card right?
Smonkk yes i know thats why i wrote the full card name so no one gets confused with the old dr boom
Miracle Rogue, but instead of a Rogue, and using Miracles, you use a druid with infinite ramp, infinite card draw, and infinite armor, to deal infinite damage
with less countering potential too

Nahh. This meta has just begun. In 2 or 3 weeks mechathun will be dead and someone will make some stupid aggro deck that will kill everything
Mechathun isnt the problem, its infinite ramp, infinite armor and infinite carddraw (aka the druid class).
It's a thirty card otk- how is this not tearing up nationals!?
Yes it is, Jay Rooney, yes it is.

That would be rediculous since against a Druid that would be taking away maybe about 1/100th of their armor
or just Naturalize costing 2 mana
I think that would be a joke as long as shudderwock is a thing. Mechathun is a fair combo, because it has very tough conditions.

Is it on Android?
It’s actually disturbing that druid is so broken it can beat aggro decks with a Mechathun otk
It's even worse in wild because they are immune to fatigue and have 70 health by turn 10. The compounding tools they keep getting is nuts.
Zoo is not an aggro deck. Its a tempo deck and that always was the case.
Certainly looks like an aggro deck now though with so few decks having legitimate board presence. Zoo lock might be the purest tempo deck since the old Tempo warriors that actually ran 8 drops though.
I prefer control decks destroying aggro decks than the other way round
Has to be a balance. Strict control metas aren't fun either. Things get strictly matchup dependent.
At 18:00, couldn't he have flooped, innervate, biology project, spellstone his own gadgetzan, and then wild growth to give him lethal one turn earlier

Toast, good video length here. Your usual 1 match video is alittle short. Love this
If Geist is popular than you alter the combo with galvanizer for 8 mana thun inmervate, vodoo doll and moon fire
I love the game end screen effect of mecha-thun. That part is my favorite
So the new meta is just gonna be which class completes Mecha'Thun the fastest?
I love the way toast bms at the end of every match when he’s solidified his win.
If everything else fails, use the giant robot octopus god
That "Bloody Hell fire" just put the cherry on top of the animation
If you still want to do the combo but dont want to be affected by skullking geist just run voodoo doll and one galvanizer. That way you can do the combo without a 1 mana spell

29:17 If the warrior didn't kill Toast's minion he probably would have won lol
I was thinking this too. The board needs to be clear right? He would’ve had no way to get rid of that minion
Cataclysm Mecha'thun? Famous Jake?
29:10 What if the warrior simply didn't hero power and ignored the 3/7? It would take you 3 turns to kill the 3/7 by trading into his minions. He could kill you by that time. Hero power was a mistake on his part.
Average Player: I need to get to legend with this boring deck

Toast, this version of Mecha'Thun is affected by Skulking, but my boy Famous Jake made a version of it with Warlock using Bloodbloom, Cataclysm, two Galvanizers, and of course Mecha'Thun.

Yea having one or two viable decks for each class and no other viable deck types to try was awesome...not. nobody cares how long you've played
well... I play a shitty many minions mage and have the fun of my life, plus getting tons of free solo content every expansion. Hearthstone will always be crazy and unfair, and it always has been for the last two years.
I pulled this combo off first game I played, but different deck list.(mally druid with a few changes) this dl is real smooth with auctioneer love it.
Never play meta deck on day one. NEVER!
Midnight Flare well, once there's no meta on day one how can you define exactly wich ones are meta decks?
This new expansion really is fantastic. I wasn't expecting much from the "magnetic" mechanic. but it's surprisingly powerful and fun to use, especially with Warrior.
plus it doesn't feel too overpowered. I have a good WR against magnetic decks but got wrecked a few times too.
why not run spreading plague? its one of the best cards in the game
Maybe bcs u need clear board?
Michael Hasoň unless your opponent is also playing an otk deck, your opponent will have to clear the board to win anyway
Because it costs 6
And they can survive with the existing cards
Try a interaction: jaraxxus plus fubiddinous floop, I don’t know how but that has not stopped you before
First time actually buying packs (pre-order). Was rewarded with a golden C'thun and 12 legendaries. I'm obligated to play this deck.
Dude I love your content and I love your channel. my fav hearthstone channel♥ keep up the great amazing fun work♡
So Toast my question is what happens if Violet illusionist is on your board and you kill your opponents Mecha'Thun on your turn while the immune is activated? Unstoppable force vs immovable object
you can also starfire floop if you already used double wrath
Toast for more consistency dont run any bigger card than 5 mana. only Mechakathun. run as many small cards as possible along with pyromancer for the board clear while drawing. my biggest card in mine is nourish. i didnt even put swipe in there because i felt it was too slow. all you want to do is draw clear and gain armor.
Salty Rad boi
I opened mecha'thun in a pack on first day of the expansion and went 13/3 with evenlock mecha'thun using the bloodbloom/galvanizer/cataclysm combo
This live was so fun to watch
Anti aggro warlock with mecha-thune and cataclysm is also running its way up the ladder.
6:58 why didn't he target the other dread lord?
Turn 2 Nourish... Druidstone confirmed.
So if I wanted to counter this deck I just need to make sure you have at least one minion on the board at all time?
You can beat Geist, you just need your 10/10 Mecha'thun to trade with their board, or copying it with Floop on the next turn and swiping him or trading it. That's a two-turn kill with no 1-cost spells.
