Not sure why you thing Activision Blizzard is small. Just google ATVI and you'll see the company is worth over $61B. They pulled in over $7B in revenue last year.
The single reason Hearthstone is so successful compared to all other digital card games right now is literally just how simple the UI is. By not cluttering your screen with a lot of information, its much easier to tell whats going on and much easier to watch. This is why Artifact won't be the Hearthstone killer some people are claiming it to be (Just like what happened with Gwent). Sure, some of these card games are more enjoyable than Hearthstone, but because they can often be so hard follow, it deters casual spectators and players
so true, like they trying to outvalue HS by making more "complicated" card games for the gamers that find HS too "simple". But that's the beauty of HS, it's simple enough for the casual gamer, but can be pretty hardcore if you invest time to it.
I have not met someone yet that thinks that Artifact is trying to kill Hearthstone. I remember a spokesman or dev say "Best way to compete with Hearthstone, is to not compete with Hearthstone. Artifact is a completely different game and will appeal to a different playerbase than the Hearthstone community." Or something along those lines.
Sadly, Blizzard seem to not realise what a jewel they have. Bugs like the cards shown as "new" after disenchanting or horrible performance issues stain the experience of the "plain and simple" card game. I like to call this the "Apple" approach on things....if you do what everyone does but easier and cleaner, you can make people pay ridiculous amounts of money for your products. But if you then start to overdo it and by making things so easy, its just dull and complicates things like listening on headphones and charging at the same time, you are just fucking up.
Halil Aydin Well in my eyes, when a game is the same genre with another game, they are competing even if they dont want it. Because when somebody will decide to start a card game in this case, that person will search for a game with the genre as keyword...and guess what.. he/she will compare them..!
Alexander me? No. I’m taking about amaz, the most goddamn lucky person on the face of this planet when it comes to hearthstone. If you haven’t heard of him, he’s called scamaz because he scams people out of victories with his absolutely outrageous luck. Look him up (look up something like amaz rng moments or something) lol.
I'm really glad You won this one... RNG was so bad for you nearly all that match and so darn *good* for him/her... and she/he did so many missplays. It was pretty much skill vs not thinking RNG lucker with a meta-deck I believe, I'm truly glad You won.
it really seems like your opponent was sniping. One second they're completely ignoring the possibility of bloodlust, and then as soon as you get it they're suddenly playing around it. Also at 22:46 they killed the less attack minion seemingly for no reason, unless they knew that you have a grumble in your hand.
When you are legend, you know that battlecry is more important than +1 attack. Having played shudderwock early, opponent expects eventual grumble, bounce effects or deathrattle spells in the long run.
Also, with your powers of deduction I can find out that this isn't toast who is playing the game. Toast wouldn't look over a simple fact like this 3:40 and would never make a mistake like this 21:00.
If you take a look at that turn you'll notice he had 17 armor and bloodlust would have only dealt 16.... I still wouldn't play a brawl into that sniping or not. Even if I had 2 reckless fury's I'd still take the 16.
Yugioh also has that distinction, all the different main card types are colored differently, also it doesn't have a mana-like mechanic which is why I love it dearly (and also because of the great idea that is the side deck)
I lost it at "why can't i lose normally?" hah fun game! it was agonizing to watch that warrior recover time after time though! _maybe it's because I'm thirsty_
that is aggro shaman. midrange is most notable for Thunder Bluff Valiant and Thing from Below, sometimes you got a mix of all of these tough, but those rarely had both Bloodlust and Lava Burst (only in full aggro).
Even with admittedly bad rng he beat fucking warrior in a value off that went down to fatigue, simply that fact shows that Toast is an excellent player
First 3 Minutes and we already had a seminar in design 😂 shit man i took it for granted but now that you say it, yet again Blizz proofs that their art is top noché.
>Throw an unfunny joke >Everyone say you're stupid/ignorant/unfunny >Say "I was sarcastic" and everything is fine, now the others look stupid not you... . . . No dude, it doesn't work that way...
omg i can't believe i started watching toast with hearthstone, and i associated him only with his hearthstone master plays. and i sometimes didnt watch him at all for a while. and then he started to play other games i didnt like and i rewatched his hearthstone games. AND then he started to play among us, and i was like who the f are these people, what is this game, omg i knew toast is a genie and now some sort of his friends call him genie as well. and now i am watching his everyday among us uploads and decided to rewatch some hearthstone. and he feels like other person here. like a. he is in his vids alone, except games with scarra and lily. b. he plays some sort of "adult game. this whole universe always was associated as more professional game idk, among us has this cartoonish stile c. i never imagined him to hang out with people. i dont say he's loner, i jusy knew nothings about his personal life. i would be glad if anyone sees my thoughts here and thinks some sort the same, so i won't feel that dumb.
6k dust is 60 packs. you can do that in two months without completing quests, just by winning 10 games per day. with quests it goes to about one and a half months.
Marino Šimić first of all, winning 10 games a day, on an average winrate of 50%, takes 20 games. 1 game beeing about 10-20 minutes, that's 1 hour for 6 games at best, say 3.5 hours a day ON AVERAGE LUCK AND GAME LENGTH. Second, 6k dust is 60 packs? Hello? Hearthstone yes? The 4 commons 1 rare worth 5+5+5+5+40 dust? That's 60 dust bro, times 10 = 600, times 10: 6k. So not 60 packs, but 100. Let's remove 20 packs for average legendary / epic / golden luck. 80 packs. You're telling me 80 packs and 3h average gametime per day is not much? Okay buddy
If something is fun to you, you can spend money on it. After all hearthstone is free, a normal video game is around 70 bucks. People spent crazy amounts of money for things they enjoy like motocross, skydiving and so on. I dont see why occasionally paying a little bit for a videogame you enjoy is any different. After all Blizzard is a company and not a charitable organization.
Seal the Vegan King in your soul, Toast. Also, I still think Mind Control Tech enter in the area of "Is frustating to play around it, is way too common nowadays and it can basically destroy a game" cards that ends in Wild because no one cares shit about Wild so is where the nightmares are exiled.
He was saving it for Lich King, since having 3 Lich kings is good when your opponents is out of cards. Although delaying fatigue and gaining cards might also have worked
Deathrattle won’t repeat a Battlecry, so all he gets is another 5/5 when it dies as opposed to 8/8 with Taunt. So he wouldn’t have had more cards in his deck or got more cards.
Odd warrior: choose one
1) concede
2) 30 minutes match
*fandral's*
*concedes at 30 mins*
3) Play Quest Rogue
I choose death
only one of those choices is an odd number
3) play with mecha'thun lock and don't worry about 30 life and 50 armor
If this is what "LOSING" looks like for toast then it's no wonder he's higher rank than me.
That's why there is a ? at the end of the title, buddy.
@@janelantestaverde2018 there's always a question mark at the end of title, buddy. It's called clickbait
It is also called anti-spoiler
Gorilla Wilson See? That's my point, buddy. So why are people assuming that he'd lose? It's clickbait, anything could happen.
@@janelantestaverde2018 fair enough buddy. :)
Playing hearthstone from beta I've realised only after this video, that spells have SQUARED PICTURES and creatures ROUNDED. Ohh My God
Федор Балабанов haha same with me
Федор Балабанов i just realized the same thing...
Федор Балабанов
XD LOL SAME!
same here. that's such a subtle feature. HS may be p2w and all but it's got a lot going for it in terms of design aspects
I'm in the same boat lmao

Sadly, Blizzard seem to not realise what a jewel they have. Bugs like the cards shown as "new" after disenchanting or horrible performance issues stain the experience of the "plain and simple" card game.

Even the most lucky guy on hearthstone is never lucky
He lost his luck when he got matched up with Toast.
i didn't see amaz anywhere? wtf are you talking about??
Aren't you talking about Kripp?
Alexander me? No. I’m taking about amaz, the most goddamn lucky person on the face of this planet when it comes to hearthstone. 16:41 : Toast fatigue sound
OMFG
Toast got possessed by Kripparian at the start
Blame skipperino
Lol that's not Kripparian at all, that's Forsen... Clearly
Both Forsen and Kripp are known for saying “never lucky” and blaming RNG.
shotglassanhero Isn't every streamer like that at some point lol

There is nothing suspicious about that play. He needed to steal Grumble and that is the way to do it. Toast was unlucky.
When you are legend, you know that battlecry is more important than +1 attack. Having played shudderwock early, opponent expects eventual grumble, bounce effects or deathrattle spells in the long run.

Opponent is the perfect example of “Playing not to lose” than Playing to win.
Well played with the title. I was convinced you lose till the last play. Made the match much more fulfilling
And that's the last time I read the comments at the start of the video. I've learned my lesson
I was so scared at the end. I’m so happy you won.
Toast: "now you have to use skill"
Opponent: "that's where you're wrong kiddo"
What an emotional thrill-ride of anger and frustration.
If I was in your place I would've conceded mid game, the amount of stress I would go through to play such match would be insane lmao
That was the most skilled game of Hearthstone I've seen in a while, not even joking
Gg what a crazy match, u are the best
That was one of the most impressive value games I've seen. Great game!
one of the best things i have ever seen on UA-cam
"The Lich King doesn't even want to stain his hands with your blood" i laughed so hard.
Yugioh also has that distinction, all the different main card types are colored differently, also it doesn't have a mana-like mechanic which is why I love it dearly (and also because of the great idea that is the side deck)
I swear I heard Kripp the first 7 seconds of the video.
Wtf is this deck with 50% legendaries?!
I lost it at "why can't i lose normally?" hah fun game! it was agonizing to watch that warrior recover time after time though! _maybe it's because I'm thirsty_
i must have at least 1000 hours in HS and i have NEVER realized the spells didnt have oval artwork until toast mentioned it....
what a game... THAT'S what we LOVE to see Toast!
Toast: nobody out rngs me babyyy
Also Toast: BLIZZARD EHY NEVERLUCKY?!?!
When u silenced the deathrattle because of direhorn i yelled to myself NO DIREHORN NEVER DIED
Toast:Blizzard why am i never lucky
Me:you're lucky in other areas
That's the most value I've ever seen in a pack
-Do you wanna quad buff?
-I wonder...
It's been 2 years already, but stll when i see "midrange shaman" i shake in fear, and think about tunell trog/totem golem. Brrrrr, dark times.
that is aggro shaman. midrange is most notable for Thunder Bluff Valiant and Thing from Below, sometimes you got a mix of all of these tough, but those rarely had both Bloodlust and Lava Burst (only in full aggro).
Nice "Good RnG Warrior" deck you got there
That was an awesome battle, man.
one of the best games i've ever watched
absolutely an insane game, probbably gonna craft this deck
the best part is when you already watched the game on stream and you know he wanted that title for "click-bait"
Now that was really cool match
wow that was a hell of a match....Good one Toast
6:54 I always thought that card said "Thanks fucking insects"
All the way throughout I was like "How on earth does he lose from this far ahead?" XD gg
7 mana hero card died from 7 attack minion and 7 damage fatigue while having exactly 7 + 7 health
coincidence? i think not
Even with admittedly bad rng he beat fucking warrior in a value off that went down to fatigue, simply that fact shows that Toast is an excellent player
First 3 Minutes and we already had a seminar in design 😂 shit man i took it for granted but now that you say it, yet again Blizz proofs that their art is top noché.
That intro: nooo don't turn into Kripp toast!!!
30:02 missed lethal
Wow ive been playing for 3 yeara but never even noticed that minions had an oval design and spells square.
That was a nailbiter.
Dude was snipin' for sure.
Now THAT is content
The lich king didn't even bother about having the soul of a goblin
Never been so baited by a video title in my life
Thats why i love my doctor boom
that was nuts
You know what I hate about playing against warrior? Even when you win, it takes so long and is so frustrating that it's not even fun.
Clickbait title aside, this was a brilliant match of RNG and knowledge. Well played, Toast.
I love that for once ya didnt spoil me by putting the ending of the game in the title and actually bamboozled me
The RNG is strong with this
Да это было жёстко!

Baited. Well played sir.
Wouldn't you have had TWO shudderwocks if you just didn't play a minion before it? AND the +4/4 effect? o.o
Actually RNG is the best part of the game now. For most of the matches, you concede at turn one or your opponent concede.
That title!! Though you 'should' post some videos that include losses.
"I hear you got a problem"
