Did you know he’s yours?
He’s the wheel you steer.
Tomorrow - Still yours.
You can lean on him forever.
Your man in the sky.
Your bird's lullaby.
Your dream in a dream.
Your blue butterfly.
Your winged Frankenstein materialised as a figment of dream personified.
Did you know he’s yours?
Your security.
Tomorrow - Still yours.
You can count on him forever.
He’s yours.
Did you know he’s yours?
He’s the wheel you steer.
Tomorrow - Still yours.
You can lean on him forever.
Your third sleeping eye.
Your friend in your mind.
Can make a vision so real and refined.
Like lifetime knowledge travelling ether from a godly cloud to the believer.
Did you know he’s yours?
When you fall asleep
Tomorrow - Still yours
He’s a gentle breeze
Forever - he’s yours
Did you know he’s yours?
I like how every Gizz album sounds like a debut album, pure and sincere
That's probably the best analogy for this band I've heard.
It’s funny how every member of King Gizz has a side project…except Stu. And then you realize he has a new side project with every KG album. It’s all his side project lol
When the makers of Robot Stop warns against Photosensitive images, I'm worried...
that's exactly what i was thinking
Wasn’t Jason Galea the maker of Robot Stop and not John?
@@donkeydongle3691 I know, is just a joke
You listen to king gizzard and also have a Majora's mask picture, I like you
Try the frankie and the witch fingers video...
So excited to see Butterfly 3000: the movie
Pretty much!
friendship ended with nonagon the movie, butterfly 3000 movie is my new best friend
What movie?
Movie ?!?

So nice of them to travel back in time to share this with us
There s 3021 butterflies on the album cover 👍
Pretty dope
They are from another dimension lol
@@j_stach from the band that made arguably their best record(so far) public domain. I don't think they really care TBH.
Now I’m scared….☹️
insane this only came out 2 years ago and they've already released 6 albums since. Feels so long in Gizzard years
It’s crazy how this sounds like hyperbole and it’s not even 😂
How do they go from Sleepwalker, Mars for the Rich, to this song and simply kill it in every song? King Gizzard is something special.
As a very biased king gizzard fan, this is the album of the year.
Too early to say, mathematically theres about 2 or 3 more to come
@@TimeTellingTezz haha it's all a numbers game ;)
What's your top threeish for 2021 so far?
@@keefjunior5886 I would say this one, I would have definitely have to put the new black midi album for sure and bright green fields by squid would have to be it but I'm looking forward to gaspar auge's solo album from the french house band "justice" the singles I've heard sound amazing!

The funny this is; I didn’t like this album when I first heard it. Now I can’t stop listening to it.

Sometimes it takes a few listens
If I do this it becomes a favorite
Because I learn something about myself
I heard the next album is called "Beaver 3000" and it gonna be a microtonal metal album.
True?
@@Vektor.666 actually true - made in timeland is next album name, levitation sessions too (live album)
@@deadlock5170 I know it’s not much to do with anything, but I just want to say those Osees Levitation Sessions were killer!
@@deadlock5170 oh fuck. got any other juice?
It's weird how they sampled woodcutting axe noises for the electronic drumset, but it really ties it with the chainsaw section nicely
This album has cemented their legacy for sure
Me when it came out: Meh
Me the day after it came out: Okay, this is good.
Me now: This is probably one of their greatest albums.
Butterfly 3000 is my new second favorite. Sketches is still my number one
That's me with Poly instead
Sketches and butterfly 3000 are the gizzard albums to chill and relax, love it
Bold number 1
me with paper mache dream balloon ahah
I dont know if they'll ever out do sketches
After 20 something albums, this is it. My favorite gizz song.
I know I’m not the only one from the UK watching this at midnight. Sleep can wait, King Gizz is more important
Seriously, thank you so much for this album. This pandemic has ruined me emotionally and now that things have been getting better I've been trying so desperately to motivate myself to be active again. After listening to this album I immediately felt summer starting, and I haven't felt this happy in awhile. Thanks again for another great album guys :) 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
The vibes are immaculate
same here man!! what a time to be alive.....goin out again since the album came out:))) take care
My thoughts exactly!
Happy for you brotha. Life has many ups and downs.
Let’s goooooo, live like it’s the end of the world
I almost feel like they made this album for me. The synth melodies that contonue throughout the whole album just hit the spot. This is exactly what I wanted from giz. It's perfect
Its yours
Almost reminds me of Mother Earths Plantasia 👌🏼
So nice to discover an album like that
The making of this album should be called “in the Cocoon: the Making of butterfly 3000”
I think I like: Emerging Chrysalis. Sounds like a King Gizz song title already
Or metamorphosis
It amazes me how this band can just pump out consistently good albums back to back, its insane
They made "Infest the Rats Nest" and then they made this album , unbelievable musicians
"No one suspects the butterfly." - El Barto
This music video doesn't make any sense. Classic Gizz. Love it.
I think they're trying to make some kind of environmental message...
everyone is dressed like they are about to go to the Holy Mountain

King Gizzard is so nostalgic and original at the same time. They are really doing some shit on a whole different level. I'm pretty sure they're transdimensional lizard people.
They’re fighting against the trans dimensional lizard people!
That acoustic, harmonica part is one of my favourite sections of ANY Gizz songs.
i wish i could exude the energy this album has
I wish i could meet somebody that can exude the energy this album has...
I wish i knew a fish that exudes this energy
These songs just snap me right the fuck out of my depressive states. And they're from the same guys that made Murder of the Universe!
Words can't describe how much I love you guys. Come back to Mexico soon!
🦋🦋🦋 KING GIZZARD GIVES ME BUTTERFLIES ON THE BRAIN! 🦋🦋🦋
Hardest working band in the world? Must be up there. Constant albums, video clips and tours and they are local blokes to boot! Thanks for all the lockdown soundtracks! I never know what I'm gona get when I get a new KGLW album, but I do know that It will be rocking.
This is really cool and the shot compositions are lovely. However, there's something about the starkness of these recent videos that just makes me crave for the wackiness of the earlier Jason led videos like people vultures or gamma knife. I am just happy to watch the band grow though and hopefully grow with them and I thank them for everything that they do.
they'll be back to weird ways eventually
Do you remember Infest the Rats Nest?
This is the first of 10 videos. I'm sure there will be a weird one in there
music cant help but foster some weirdness
what a talented group
zappa would be proud, that dirtbag
Intrasport’s video was wacky as shit
In this album I hear relief, happiness, and a bit of unsettled recognition that the world is still dark. A perfect encapsulation of how I'm feeling post vaccine. Thank you King Gizzard, you've been my favorite since your five-album year and it's not difficult to explain why at all
Howd that stick getcha? U ok brother?
now i want some Mongolian beef with white steamed rice and a thai tea
so did cavs and lucas not get the dress code email in time, or is this some 'paul is dead'-level gizzverse twist

Butterfly 3000 is an album I needed right now and am actually pretty moved by, the melodies that go with these songs are not only perfectly influenced by other music but perfectly done with the King Gizzard touch. I really like the metamorphosis theme
These words you speak are true 👍🏼
True psych rock enthusiast right here, i appreciate u hippiecheezburger
I've taken about a year off from Gizz, I come back and this is the kind music y'all are making now? This song is fucking Beautiful ! Reminds me of Mendoza by Octopus Project

Every time I think they're all out of new stuff to write, they make yet another banger of an album. What a time to be alive.
This song is pure bliss.
I think this song should have been over 13 minutes long because I just listened to it three times in a row.
I feel like there’s a new album every month
Welcome to the Gizz

One of the greatest bands ever..still don’t get enough love .. they push music to the future
I’ve had this album on repeat since it came out! So stoked to see the rest of the videos!
Possibly a basic interpretation but I read the lyrics as a pretty blatant love-letter from Stu to a loved one i.e. his wife or child, and see the video as a representation of Stu being on the road or tour and consistently preoccupied with the sentiment of the lyrics.
Stu did say the birth of his first child influenced the album a lot so I reckon you're dead on

I came into this band around the time this album came out, and while being a major rock and heavier music fan and a fan of most of their albums, I keep coming back to this album. The melodies and arrangements are amazing and gorgeous. When I need to escape at times I find myself coming back to Butterfly 3000, a lot.
Everything these folks touch turns to gold in an instant. This album is pure bliss.
butterfly 3000 and chunky shrapnel should be released on blu ray
I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this album. Thank you so much.
This and tame impala are my favorite bands of this era. I remember when i first heared and discovered them on jam 88.3 back then 2015.
So this is a 15/8 keyboard playing a polyrhythm with the bass at 7/4 while the drummer is playing 4/4 and Stu is singing beautifully and seemlessly over this cuddly complexity of a song ?!?!!? I didn’t know God came in 6 and was Australian
Also worth mentioning is the fact that stu sings the same melody as the synth , but just slowed. Slow the song by 0.2 or 0.1x and you'll hear it in the intro
this video is oficially mine they said it they said it i don’t make the rules
They told me they prefer Pecan Pie, so they had to revoke your ownership. But to be respectful its still Yours.
@@jakehorne5662 oh no looks like i've lost my video privileges :(

This band catches lightning in a bottle over and over again
gizz font game always so strong
The bass guitar is Mellow Funk and I love it!!!
I lost count how many times I keep replaying the album.
Thank you KUGS 89.3 for playing this on the radio, rad!
This album was incredible. It might even be my new favourite King Gizz album, easily top3 at least.
What makes a band really like the Beatles is writing diverse music at the pinnacle of the modern sound, and making lots of weird love songs.
I dream with the day i will see you guys in Brazil! 🇧🇷
If you can't handle me at my rats nest, you don't deserve me at my butterfly 3000
