A lot of people came for the mustache, I came for the eyebrows.
@@argemirotorrico4531 Well, that’s a no-brainer.
Thanks friend for your tricks, it helped me a lot, cheers from Colombia
You better watch out Brody, Cubehead might pass you in subs. Tbh I wouldn't be too surprised. I still am a huge fan of you! You have helped me a lot at getting better at 3x3. I am now averaging 23-24 seconds. Thank you so much for all of your hard work!
definitely gonna start using this! i am trying to get a consistent good f2l - and this will really help! Thanks Brody! :)
Just letting you know that you can also use f R' f' as an insert. One application of it is f R' f' U' R' U' R which solves one of the EO cases with the flipped edge in slot
yes, I need to start doing this as well. There are some really cool ways to set up into that insert
dammit that was going to my comment!
oh holy crap!
how did I not know about this??
bruh i do the R' U' M U R U' R' U' r alg for the same case and i find mysefl preatty comfortable doing it so idk
I think I have a better finger trick and I have been using this for quite some time: you can stay in home grip and use index pinch for f and use the third finger to complete f' while regripping your hand. Probably this will help.
omg!!!!!!!!!! I swear, just a week ago I figured this trick out by myself and then saw Feliks' solves and now you also showed this trick.
Your vid's r always helpful and help me improve my times. Thx a lot Brody
1:00 I saw that f2l trick on one of feliks zemdegs solve reconstruction video and I have also started using it after that and my times have gotten better.
This is revolutionary to me, thanks for the upload!
Woah i just covered this in my recent f2l inserts video!!! Nice Brody
I clicked for the moustache...where is the moustache??
anyways nice tips Brody!
Epic video
Awesome editing!!
Keep it up 😉
Great video man
I like the intro to your video. I always love a good, short intro. Nice!
that's exactly what i neeeeeed thxxxxx
I knew this f R f' insert for a while now, but these new applications are really interesting! Thanks for the interesting situations, Brody!
Something I did realize after just playing around with stuff after the video was if you wanted to skip OLL with an R U2 R' insert, you could just do f R2 f'. That is essentially what you said about solving EO using this, but this is a more specific case that applies to a "forced" OLL skip.
I average like 15 seconds though, so I'm not sure if this is good or not. (I literally found this like 2 minutes ago).
I think the fingertricks are fine if you regrip, but of course, that isn't optimal. Somebody already mentioned starting in home grip, using your right finger for the f, then roll the R, then use your left finger for the f'. You could apply the same thing to what I'm saying here, but rolling R2, then f' does seem a little bit weird to me, but that might just be because I'm bad at cubing.
Dang that's nice! I may need to work on it and try to implement it
Brody F2Ls are out of this world, because of which I was gonna sleep after studying,.. but I am watching this...
Another variation you can do is f R2 f', it's really niche and kinda risky, but personally I've been able to execute it without much trouble. I mostly use it for first pair, like if there is a free pair right in front of you but goes into BR slot. There might be a use for it in between solutions, but I haven't really played with that.
That was helpful thank you
Man I’ve been using this type of rotationless insertion the past year or so I’m so glad it’s getting recognized
The best thumbnail ever!!!
for the first pair you could do (U) sledge f R f which you can cancel to R' F R S R f' (assuming FR is open)
for 2:30 you could (and always should) just do the f from homegrip after the R U2 R'
OMG CRAZY TRICK!! I'M LOOKING FOR THIS F2L TRICK FOR SO LONG!!
You can do f R S' to set up for a nice F 2-gen F' last slot case for FL, if you are comfortable doing so
Video should be titled " Brian pls"
Lmao Brian is appearing so much in other channels recently but he’s such a small channel haha
This year I will get sub-20 on 3x3 and I will use your tips to achieve that!
Me to
I'm hoping I'll become sub 20 this year too! My current PB is 27.54
My PB in december 2019 was 28,83 and now it’s 12,97 ! Don’t give up guys 🤜🤛
@@ThePowerOfZZ My pb is 21.03 and ao100 is around 32 seconds. I don't even know full pll yet, so I have many things to learn that'll make me faster :)
@@KeisariCubes I need to learn so much me too 😋 my objective is sub 10 this year ! I receive my first 4x4 tomorrow 😌
That' really cool! Feliks used it in an old sub4 solve
I actually did this . Without looking it up. I was just trying roux method the found out this trick! And i started to do it on cfop
WowNice Brody
4:11 y M' U R M U' R'
That's a pretty cool trick
🔥🔥 super bro
Thanks sir...
Really cool way to insert in the back right. The only thing I concern about is whether the look ahead will be affected by this kind of insertion. I think I will use this alg for sure for my last pair
4:21 I like this f2l trick 👍🏼👍🏼😉😉
My man Brody for moustache
2:26 You should try starting in home grip and regrip while doing the lefty U2 to eliminate that pause😊.
It can cancel into the start of some OLLs when used on the last F2L pair
I told many of these in my critque videos :D
Awesome I knew this. GG
you can also apply a similar trick to a ready pair that needs to solve into the backright, do f R’ f’
1:30 "Obviously you start off by doing that..."
I've been using "U (sledgehammer) (insert)" from J Perm's advanced F2L pdf this whole time.
Brody PLEASE MAKE A PLL TUTORIAL!!!!! When I saw your 2-look OLL tutorial I learned it and I REALLY liked how you explained it. I really hope you see this comment.
I started using this trick a month ago.
I actually saw it in a J perm F2l video
I love how I've already been using dis for a year now
i hate to say it
but I smell a Brody pls video coming
I also discovered it and started to use
Thanks so much I hate that one f2l case, it’s the worst in my humble opinion
Hey brody can you me tell how much practice should we do and i want a fix hour of time not "as much as possible" pls reply me
I don’t use wide move inserts anymore since it makes look ahead harder
Isn't that what he was explaining in the entire video, bruh.....
I think his mustache gave Brody that f2l trick
Nobody:
Literally nobody:
Nobody in the entire history of the universe:

yes Feliks Valk
OMFG IVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS FOR AGES
Brian - brody pls
Brody - here you go
please make tutorial on PLL for beginners, I have learned CFO from your videos, you made them easy to learn, please make one one PLL too
Did you get the idea from Feliks's 3.41 single? I started using this trick a few months ago and actually found it a lot more useful than I thought!
Getting closer and closer to 69K subs!
You don't need to regrip f R f', just start in home grip, do f with right finger, roll R and f' with left index
Also at 2:45 you can do R' F R' F' R U' R
Idk if thats better though because I cant do it nearly as fast as regriping and doing the regular one just because the Fw is so inconsistent when your trying to rip
@@HogRider2 it's better
@@StepanMakarenko see feliks zemdegs 3.33 and 3.41 on his channel
Is that alg from Brian’s channel?
@@neilprabhu629 this was known for years
You can also use it when you have a R U' R' or L' U L insert into either of the backslots the back!!
2:45- for this exact case from this angle you can also use R' U' R d' R U R'
advanced advanced f2l.
1:46 S R S' R' U2 R Starts in homegrip
2:35 U R' U R B' R B R' Starts and ends in homegrip, regripless
3:04 R U' R' S R S' S Starts in homegrip, regripless, S moves are easier than f imo
You don't invent a trick, you discover it
idky some youcubers (cubehead, brody) have talked about this, an independent of them I started doing the same thing as a coincidence lol
You can also insert a connected pair like this using
f R’ f’
You look really funny with the moustache
brain sun right now : alright time to roast his algs
🧠 ☀️
If he roasts me I will be sad ☹☹
Came for the tips, stayed for the mustache.
OMG I have been using this trick for AgEs
No way... I used this same trick to avoid cube rotating
I also figured it on my own
I got this idea from Jay's video " The new 3 move insert"
I have been using this trick for nearly 3 months and I progressed from 16-17 avg of 5 to 14-15.
But I don't know why this trick feels inefficient (at least for me)
For R U2' R' f R f', I start in home grip and regrip to thumb on front during U2'. I think it flows just as well
Nvm I should watch the entire video before commenting xD
@@charlesdaloz2547 pls
@@SerialGaming I edited with the fingerticks smh
I used this trick for a time but don’t like it since it severely hinders lookahead by moving the entire top layer away. By cube rotating you can also see what pieces are in the back slot adjacent to the one inserting into.
I average 15 seconds and I use this a lot still, but something I thought of a couple weeks ago was using it to cansle other rotations. What I mean is that if you use this to insert a pair but have to rotate after for another pair, then don’t do it. But if you rotate for inserting then rotate again for another pair, then use this trick. I wish I could do this, but my look ahead is basically nonexistent.
It's funny that as bad as I am, I accidentally discovered this long ago. I've been using it not knowing if it was really good, it just seemed to work for me.
I'm going to see what else I can do with it.
If I'm in home grip, I find it easier to execute S R S' rather f R f' -- but that requires the front-right slot be empty. When I do f R f' , I have to regrip to use my thumb (and middle finger) to hold the B layer in order to stable my cube. Anyone has this kind of issue and what could be the tip to resolve it please?
Uncle Brody
No way. I was going to make a video about this alg......
Brody thx
Mustache pls.... tell Brody to „set you free“
I started f2l 🤩
WOAH
I swear I figured this out a few days ago
I also discovered this trick just today lol
How can you be so fast already but only just discover these inserts? :D
tis a pog
oooo neato :0
i see mustache i click
then i got an f2l trick.
but that’s cool too
This is a trick I’ve also started using
nice
you could use your thumb instead of your index finger, depending on how you're holding it
don't do this though, it isn't good
I love F2L
I'm using it since atleast 1 month 😊😊✌️✌️✌️
I actually learned that trick from Felix Zemdegs 3.33 solve
Ad: skip this video if you don’t want a high paying jo-
Me: nah this is more important
I've been using this trick since I started cubbing.
A fan from India
Wow
; )
I kinda use this trick right in the beginning of my Gd-Perm: cubedb.net/?rank=3&alg=y-_f_R_f-_R2_u-_R_U-_R-_U_R-_u_R2&stage=pll&type=alg
It is a standard alg but the wide turns avoid the cube rotation.
