Hey guys! I did some experimenting with how I made this video, which is why it might seem different than my usual videos. Tell me what you think of the lack of music, the faster pace, etc. Next week I’m finally going to upload a Weilong WR M review! I’ll see you guys then.
-Brody
@BrodytheCuber I think the lack of music and the faster pace worked really well for this video but for reviews, unboxings and stuff, I think the music and stuff works better than not having it
Great video! thoughts:
scramble on screen the whole time is a bit too much
would have liked a second more to verify scramble
lighting from back makes green color a bit harsh
Also, thanks for including COLL/ZBLL
Very nice. I'd say place the scramble on the top left of the screen not the middle though
another thing id say is do your oll/pll algs slowly so its easy for people to see, learm and if nessessary, replicate the fingertricks. Kind of like the cubeskills intermediate walkthrogh solves
“The more effort you put into watching this video, the more results you’ll get out of it.” Great quote!
LOL
Scramble 1:
x2 y
L2 U2 R’ F2 R’
Better x cross than what you did
Forgot was x was. It is making the bottom face, face you? Or keeping the same face just rotating?
DotLegit x is a cube rotation that follows R
I was just about to put that! #GreatMindsThinkAlike
Then do:
U’ (R’ F U’ F’ R) L U L2’ U L U’ L’ U L U’ (L F’ L’ F) U’ f (R U R’ U’) U
T perm
Perfect. I did same thing! With 2ll oll it felts into a jb perm
Love the vids. Keep up the hard work
Would you see all this at speed though? Would be great for you to reconstruct your speed solves, I think that would be even more helpful. Many thanks for videos, you are the only cuber I get notifications for :)
Thanks for the video. I'm going to follow along now
first solve:
x2 y // inspection
L U2 L F2 R2 // xcross
y' L U L' // 2nd pair
8 move cross+2, all seen in inspection. Next 2 pairs have great lookahead as well, most of the alternate solutions for them resulted in decent last layers.
EXACTLY
+ H-perm If done correctly
Awesome video! Keep making awesome content!!
Awesome! Really informative! I think this type of video without music and quicker paced is really good 👍
HyperCuber you’re here
Man! This was the video I've been waiting for soooo long!
Great video! Thanks brody
pretty moist tutorial, thanks brody!
I always watch you videos whenever they come out, good job and keep up the good work, your awesome
Actually really good vid.this really helped, thanks👍👍👌
Awesome concept. I would like to see more videos like this one 👍🏻
That was really great! Thank you
Love your videos
Good Video!! Really Helpful
Great video brody!
Hey Brody, I got the white Cross on solve 11:44 with zeroing. It was much better. In all the solves I got to know where i stand. I just found my flaw where I was not able to improve. The skill level and openness of mind you have while making the crosses, is incredible. In every solve my cross solutions were Inefficient and hard but your solutions were more intuitive and were using common sense. Thank you, I got my weak point.
Please avoid putting the scramble directly over the cube like 0:45. It makes it more difficult for me to see all the pieces to see what I would do before you do it in the video. Otherwise another excellent video from you
Just pause video
This is so helpful
And another Gperm...
Great video 👍
wow these solves look very smart
Nice
6:36 before doing the Uw2 there is a pair in the front left slot which you can preserve
3:00 R U R2’ F R F’ R U’ R’ keeps eo without rotating and imo is faster then the solution after rotating, and you have winter variation options.
Exactly ! That's what I was thinking
best UA-camr
This thing is blowing my mind! I just learned how to solve the cube and i take 2 minutes to Solve , how do i increase my speed , if you have any video Reply me with a video link
if you just learned...then i would suggest you to practice a lot and get an understanding of how peices move on cube..then go for some advanced stuff..maybe practice untill you average around 1 minute or less
Thank you for your Walkthrough solves there were pretty helpful! 👍
trying to think of something funny to say cause i’m early
The first scramble, did you have the cube yellow on top and green in front because have the same scramble but colors in wrong places
1:30, how do I solve a f2l pair while i do the cross, also how do I see that in inspection
1:43 how do you do that blue and orange f2l case you went to fast on that one
Hey I was wondering if when you're solving a pair which requires a rotation to insert is it better to : - rotate, set it up, and insert it
-Or set it up, rotate, insert it (which is what I do)
??
HELP ME PLS HOW TO REMOVE THE WHITE THING LIKE DIRT IN INNER PART OF MY CUBE IN EDGE AND CORNER?
For the first solve, when the pair id on the left, the bottom is solved, and the white facing up, and needs to go into the FL, you could just do F' (U' L' U L) then insert
4:21 did you consciously choose which RU order you insert the last pair to influence the oll case?
BrodytheCuber is the best! You have inspired me to make cubing videos! I will get to it very soon! Once they are out maybe you guys can check it out. Again, thanks Brody!
For the first scramble, whay didnt you do the cross by inserting green, then red which would move blue, thrn blue, do a D2 and insert orange again?
buenisimo!!!!!
For the first pair, on the first solve, (I followed your Xcross solution) I would to U’ F’ inverse left sexy F insert the pair. That is so much better.
How can you know when to force a yellow cross like this 3:05?
Thanks very much Brody but the thing is that I think diagonal f2l solving will be much harder for lookahead and I also think that it will cause cube rotation.... But still I appreciate your channel and your solved(:
tracking the cross pieces during inspection is okay, but being able to track the X-cross is beyond me:(
I hate to ask a really basic question, but it almost seemed to me in the first solve that you solved an F2L pair before completing the cross on the bottom. Is this what you did (since I couldn't see the bottom of the cube, I wasn't sure)? I have never heard of doing this, but since your video is for all skill levels, I'm asking. Is this some kind of way of just solving part of the cross and then doing the F2L for that area? Please explain. :-)
Broo.. How many algs did you exactly learn excluding the pll and oll?
Also... Do you actually recommended meet learning it?? (i average around 13.9)
at 7:59 you could do L F' L' U F to cancel into the next pair
1:40 I would do the unoriented pair by doing (U') F U R U' R' F' L' U' L
7:56 I would probably do R L' U2 L R, but doing it your way with the sledge, you can insert the free pair in one move before finishes the sledge.
I would love to hear peoples opinion about my ideas
0:53 I would prefer to do R U2 R B2 R2 X-Cross. I know it has a B2 which is pretty bad but because of the R before, the fingertricks for it are pretty good. Also, look ahead into the next couple pairs is pretty nice. It also coincidentally sets up a 3 move insert and another really nice case after that!
@김기성 Hi
@김기성 Ayyy
hey I was wondering how do I get faster at f2l I know you most likely made on but I want to know how I execute it to be FASTER
Hi Brody, at 07:55 you could just do L' and insert pair without doing sledgehammer
First scramble from the same position u can do and x-cross with R U2 R B2 L2
7:57 you can insert green/red whilst pairing up red/blue
Dang 31k subs
Cubing Setup
7:16 green cross was great
Do you look for an edge piece and then it's corner, or a corner and then it's edge? Or do you do something else?
Both at the same time
Hey brody. I would have done a different way for cross on 0:57. i would have orange front, and yellow up, then preserve orange cross piece, then with orange front, do a R so that the red and green cross pieces are correct, do a u 2 , insert the blue cross piece, insert the red cross piece, then finally insert the green cross piece so that you have a pre-made red and green F2L piece which has already been inserted.
Please pin this so that other people can see this.
Which cube is this? Looks beautiful and sounds great.
MoYu Weilong WR M
@@AJBigJJ ah I had a feeling. Thanks!!
Brody, at the first Solve you said that white cross is more easy then yellow, but yellow
Hi Brody
In the first scramble you could make an x cross
Then the pair will somehow automatically pair themselves
And there would be no oll after that
So is multislotting not a thing in solve 1? There were very easy cases that should be intuitive. Also F Perms aren’t bad.
1:43
Can be U2 R' U R U' R' U R U' R' U R
replaced with
R' U' R U R' U' R U' R' U R
Or maybe depend of something else (edge ordination etc ) or personal preference
5:32 Brody it is called OLLCP!
In COLL, you have the cross on top.
on solve 1 you can do an 5 move x cross !
with yellow on top and red on front do L U2 L F2 R2
Here is a rare episode of brody NOT Expressing his internal self hatred by ................... blah blah
I forgot the rest.
Wish this was for roux so it was useful
For the first solve, I'm sure some would have already seen it but here it is anyway:
x2 y R U2 R B2 L2
It solves x cross and also sets up the other pairs quite nicely
Hey brody whatever happened to mason.the last time I saw him was in your how to cube in class video
On the First one i did an X-cross on red gren
10:21 what is that ?
title: for any skill level
beginner method solvers : :)
Are you full color neutral?
on the 4th scramble i did R U2 R' U2 R' F R F for oll and got a u perm
Figured out the following x-cross solution for scramble 1:
x2 F U2 F R2 B2
x2 y' L U2 L F2 R2 has better fingertricks
First scramble ( 0:54 ) x2 y L U2 L F2 R2 - 5 move X cross
*when you are early but don’t know what to say*
Solve 1 if you start with orang on front do R U2 R B2 L2 and you get a pair straight away
And then you get another pair
Me: alright I found a 10 move first block, fairly horrible let’s see what Brody did, *oh wait he’s using CFOP*
Lol at 1:55 the COLL would give a PLL Skip.
Square one?
Cube?
3:19 this zbll is just a setup to y perm like in old pochmann method
It's not the ZBLL he got. You're mixing it up with another one. Follow along and try
Oh yeah your right
@@thephysicistcuber175 lol I was sure you commented under One speaking about ZBLL
1:26 insert with a U2 to save a regrip
5:35 : It's called an OLLCP in that case
6:47 isn't F2 L F2 L' better ?
7:31 F2l 😂
Tbh I tried doing it my way and it was faster the only thing is I'm slow at turning so u would I won if u went fast
At 1:53 if you did the COLL alg it would actually give you a PLL skip
6:19 WHY DID YOU BREAK THE RED AND GREEN PAIR????? :’(
6 : 28 you dit not preserve that pare in the front left
6:41 could take out the pair
5:36 OLLCP*
I saw a pretty eazy xcross in the first solve, white on bottom orange in front,
L2 R2 F2 R D2 R' F2
How do you get white on bottom and yellow in front
@@nguyener14 orange*
on 1:55 it was pll skip with coll
1:53 that coll would have given you a pll skip
I might seem idiot, but why always yellow or white cross... 🙃
I am a beginner method cuber.
Plz help me somehow
