What a nice addition to the sausage balls. I have seen some add cooked, chopped and pressed dry spinach to their sausage ball to sneak in a bit of vegetable and their kids really liked them without knowing it was good for them. Not only are these a good party dish, but they work well in blinds: duck, deer and on fishing trips too.

I've made regular sausage balls every Christmas for no telling how many years. I've never thought about adding rotel or cream cheese. I can my own rotel tomatoes. Also I can jalapenos.....you are giving me ideas that I may have to try in the future. Ya'll have a Merry Christmas!!!!
