I just subscribed. You are an absolute joy to watch. Not just a great cook, but a wonderful example for your children and grandchildren. I am older than you and really appreciate all your fantastic videos. Thank you so much dear. 😊🙏
MeMe, I love you! ❤ You are like a Grandmother and Mother all rolled into one! You are so warm and loving! I love watching you. I love all your beautiful shirts, and lovely colored dishes. And, the fact that you cook your family dinner every Sunday is amazing, and un-heard- of! I wish I was part of your family, so I could spend Sundays with you!! Bless you! And, I do try to shine for Jesus! 😊
I've been watching you for nearly three weeks now and just adore you! My Mama used to make sausage balls every year for Christmas for us to eat and she'd make gift packages for family and friends and include these. Her recipe and yours are just the same. I've so enjoyed watching you and will continue as there are so many of your dishes that I will make. I am also from South Carolina born and raised in Lancaster. I've lived here in California since 1986. I want to buy two (2) of your cook books - one for myself, and the other for my sister and her husband. I will have to find your link first. You remind me so much of ALL the beautiful Southern ladies that I grew up with in SC. Keep up the awesome work MeMe and keep shining for Jesus. Blessings.
I am going to order my sister a cookbook. But her and her husband bought one of those tiny little houses, so they moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. At the time I didn’t have their address but I do now.
@@memesrecipessc Yes, indeed! Can't wait to get my cookbook. I've also ordered one for my sister this morning. I'm sure that she and her husband will enjoy it. I do believe that I may make the chocolate pie first as I watch that one here yesterday. Have a wonderful day to you and yours.
My husband text me today.... "Who's the lady that taught you to cook that saved our marriage?" LOL. He was joking, but you truly have blessed our family.
I use my Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook to mix my sausage balls. (Works beautifully!). But I use 1.5 cups of bisquick to one pound of sausage and one pound of cheese. (And a lot of Tabasco sauce).
It seems like you really enjoy cooking for your family. I do too Many of your dishes are easy to make and you explain it so well Thank you. You are now one of my favorite channels to watch. I look forward 13:19 to more of your cooking videos. God Bless You
I just love watching you. We do family night once a month. I told my husband just this morning that I want to get your cook book and make an entire meal from your cookbook at one of our family nights. I think they should put on your headstone, " A cook that shined for Jesus" 😊
I just love your channel. My 12 year old granddaughter told me a while back that she really wants to learn to cook "real food". So, I've been teaching her. For Christmas I ordered your 2 cook books for her. I also bought a recipe book for her and over the next year I'll write out family favorite recipes that are in my book for her own recipe book. You are such a blessing!!!
MeMe, I'm so glad I found your channel a few days ago. I'm still binge-watching your videos. I will add this on my list to make for my family. BTW, I just love your southern accent being from Texas myself I can appreciate a good Southern drawl!❤
Mimi love this lady, not trying to be something special a little above other, not our ladies way just a loveably kind lady that we can just be at home with. A great lady in her kitchen.
My son loves them. I use cream cheese with mine. The reason you can't use the shredded cheese is that companies add a clumping agent to them. If you have ever cooked something and used shredded cheese it is gritty or sandy texture this is the reason. I always buy block cheese and shred it.
Love to have you on for the recipes and also its like visiting or having company w my granny whom I miss Dearly and its non fattening as well lol but your recipes stick in my mind cause I grew up with several of them What a Joy to Listen to you Her sister was my Auntie Ri Ri and she was the Head Boss and Cook for All of us Kids and cousins and her kids and my Granny too Well it seemed like everybody in the extended family all around Chickasha Oklahoma back in the 60s and 70s holidays , birthdays and just going on the weekends they also owned the Theater and Drive-In Movies in town and what a time we had there was always 20 or so of us Okies all over the place and we would go to the Lake or the park and have Picnics and go fishing or go swimming of course to the movies or drive in and sit outside what a beautiful time it was having them fussing and cooking and talking just like you MeMe. I found this recipe in 1970 when we moved to Virginia. I use the Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage. I fix these for our breakfast on Christmas morning and of course many many times during the year. I think it has always been a family favorite. Have a Blessed day.
OMG! This is a family tradition of ours every since I was a little girl, to have sausage balls for Christmas Eve! We would also have hamburger dip and tortilla scoops with them. Just finger foods and desserts, then for Christmas Day, we would have our Christmas Dinner! We always make ours with Old folks medium sausage! So good! 😊

I have been making this recipe for my family for over 20 years. My mother taught me to double the recipe and to use a pound of mild with a pound of spicy sausage. It’s so good!
My grandmother used to make these for every bridal and baby shower. She also used to make homemade mints for the showers. They are definitely an old southern tradition & they are so good! If you’ve ever made these, can you please do a video on how to make homemade mints? Thank you!

Sausage balls are so good . When i make these i add chopped green onion and chopped white onion, garlic powder, onion powder and i use hot and spicy sausage . I also do half sharp cheddar and half Monterey jack cheese from the block and shred myself. Your right, you do not want to use the preshredded package stuff. I use my kitchen aid with the dough hook to mix,its so much easier and i also use parchment paper down on my cookie sheet, easy clean up. I love to watch you cook. You remind me of my Granny Keever. We just had the cabbage, sausage with tomato. It was delicious and so easy to make. Can’t wait to try another recipe soon. God bless you and your family.
I love your recipes and videos!!!!!!! And I agree: pre-shredded cheese is coated in potato starch which alters the texture of the final product when cooked.

Love sausage balls! I learned to add a box of Red Lobster biscuit mix instead of Bisquick. Have to use a little more than one box, but you can make a few biscuits with what is left. .Yummy!

I'd buy a mug "Let 'em get acquainted." ❤
Thank you, Patara! I love this video! I was watching it in the kitchen while my husband watched football in the living room. He called from the next room, "Sausage balls?! What are sausage balls,"?! 🤣 He loves sausage! Guess I gotta make them now! 😆 I love how I automatically started singing along with you while I ate my breakfast. 😊 "Fooooil..." Fun! God bless you, Patara! Have fun with all your kiddos/goat babies! 💞💞💞
You must have the wrong channel or video.🙂

Welcome!!!
You so remind me of my sister’s mother-in-law, who was the sweetest women I’ve ever known and the best cook ever. She made sausage balls just like you. Watching you make yours brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you.
Wow, thank you
