Of course it's your choice how to play that game, although if you're willing to get maximum efficiency, here some advice:
1. hope is not a problem now, so there is no need to give this child a day off 14:10, the storm will consume all of your hope anyway;
2. around 13:00 you wondering why hot house didn't have full efficiency, well because people were hungry and will go to cookhouse anyway, the best way is to dismantle - pause - cancel dismantling cookhouse, that way all people get back to work asap;
3. 13:40 making another group of scouts is usually great idea, because you can send 5 sick and hungry people out of the city - however keep in mind that when they came back and you dismiss them, they need to go medical post asap or they'll die, so that may be tricky during deathless run;

Won't be playing on max extreme difficulty (I'm not that good) but perhaps do a endless builder one again (the one you need to build the generator)...
Personally i think for law dev need to add canibalisme as a Last resort if you run out of food

Is there a reason you prefer hothouse over hunters? I guess i always went for coal mine rather than coal thumpers.
Hunters is viable too of course. But since I go with child work hothouses just scale better with this. Also you can use shrines/clusters of hothouses for high efficiency. Thumpers provide more coal than mines btw so it makes sense to go for them early.
@@Nivarias Thumpers produce 2.5 times as much as coal mines, but need 3 times the workers to do so (lvl.1 coal thumper needs 2 gathering posts). If you have workers to spare go for the thumper, if you have steam cores to spare go for the mine
I see you don't use hunters, are they bad?
Is your cookhouse set to the right food type? You unlocked soup but I don't think you switched it to use the new recipe.

Wouldn't it be better to get coal mining?
You have 2 deposits close to teh saw mill. Heateing 2 very important industries at once.
You basically invest a steam core for efficiency and less work force.
Coal Mines require Steam Codes and I need hothouses ,
At night It's still -40 there is no difference
