@@sambeaumont4337 They're faster, but that sort of shepherd dog tactic is beyond their mental capabilities. What a awe-inspiring creature. Reminds me of being in the Natural History Museum in London, in the Mammal gallery, under the giant model blue whale there is a display explaining how land mammals have to change their anatomy when they grow larger, by showing how if you scaled a warthog up the elephant, it wouldn't be able to stand.

I loved the bokodu since you introduced them in an older episode (I don't remember which one, exactly). They are a very cool concept, that feels so unique too. It is the episode I would have sponsored if I had the money to do so. Also, bokodu being able to imitate sounds it's so terrifying. It's kind of unsettling with their smaller relatives, but with such a giant it sounds so incredibly terrifying.
Absolutely fantastic animal! Definitely one of my favorites, and especially love their biology. The idea of one particularly large Bokodu hunting down monarchs to get rid of competition while having a squire follow him and learn his techniques sounds amazing!

These animals are really cool, I love entelodonts. It’s a good thing the bokodu isn’t real though cause they would be insanely scary and I would probably end up teaching them to say stupid things like “Among Us” if given the chance. Also I love the music
Man, you really got a knack with that Southern accent, partner. These Entelodonts are so cool. It's a shame that Carnivorans had to outcompete them on Earth. The Bokodu is unbelievable, especially its bite force. I also like the Knight-Squire dynamic. BTW, that Jeremy Wade comment, it sounds like my comment on your Catfish video.
Thanks so much! I’m a poser I’ve only seen a few clips, but since every mention of big fish makes people talk about him I figured he was worth mentioning!
truly terrifying and stunning creatures Kaimere has every single one of them are so inspired and fit so wonderfully into your world. I truly thank you for making these videos they always put me in a great mood.
Absolutely. Was considering saving that reveal for the novel series (already wrote the novel scene even though that book is like 4 in the series lol) but this was just too fun to not include as the introduction!
There he comes! The Granddaddy of all Hippos, pigs and whales. The Bokudo is as terrifying as a macroraptorial Sperm whale on land, and tbh? I was never faster to open a notification. But I have a very late question if you don't mind, what were the wandering gods? Looking forwards and thank you like always!
Thank you so much! The wandering gods is a rough translation of what some indigenous Kairulans call bokodu. There was once a small family of them, but the bokodu is the last of their kind.
Wonderful, giant hippos that live on land and mimic voices. As if they weren't bad enough. The relationship between knights and Squires is pretty adorable, tho
Amazing video as always Keenan, that story you told kind of reminds me of the horrific bear creature from annihilation and how it sounded like a woman screaming or groaning. Keep up the good work.
Ukatan hunting Bokudo making their way to the known world would probably cause ukatan population to drop to the point of noticing and will probably be the stuff of legend to the shou
For the ones who are a little deceived that the first/old Bokodu's design isn't used no more as the normal/current standard design for the species, Keenan have however repurposed it as a direct ancestor (of course extinct since then) of the Bokodu itself ! Know, that represent a species that lived before and in the same time that the Uktan's lineage arrival on Kairul, and the only giant entelodont species that have survived the Robust clade Megaraptoran's arrival on Kairul, and who gived the Bokodu as a descendant. Like the Tikakatik abelisaur and Komu Ba Kawe eudromaeosaur, the Bokodu is the only remaining representant of the giant clade of the family left alive by the Megaraptorans. Entelodons, abelisaurid and Eudromaeosaurid/Cockatrices are diverses and numerous and Kairul, but the Giants clades of each only have one representative know. The latter were the main victims of the Megaraptoran arrival and composed most of the extinction fauna that occured in kairul at the time these latter arrived from Arvel/Ni'Khar.
Damn I would *LOVE* a manga adaptation of this series at some point. Then maybe an anime or a Gendy style animation of somekind. This world needs a much bigger audience. Its so absolutely deserving of one!! ❤
@@TalesofKaimere oh holy crap yes. There is already a gross bloat of awful amateur aswell as professional projects that very obviously should have been animated... 🤔
I'd love to do one! Might redraw the komu to have a slightly different posture since it's a cockatrice and I think that would be fun, but their designs overall are the same and there's a lot to cover about both!
As if entelodonts could get any scarier. The ability to mimic other animals’ voices, being bigger than an elephant, and being as mean as their hippo relatives. But really, bokodu is one of my favorite animals in this project. Entelodonts have enthralled me since Walking with Beasts.
They’re such neat animals! Ferocious and unique in a way that combines traits from what we think of as very polarized animals (hoofs on a carnivore? A galloping predator?)
I love the Knight and squire behavior in this species. It gives them a dynamic that feels like an evolutionary advantage in development and something that could lead to a change in the dynamic of their chosen environment. I'm thinking this could wind up being a behavioral dynamic that becomes a linchpin of a species rising sucess that allows a mammalian group to challenge the Megarapyorans where you have an almost fudal system of ancient king bulls able to call their former squires now knights in their own rite to drive the dangerous dinosaurs out of their aria providing a safer and thus more survivable aria.
Thanks, and absolutely! It’s also a potential avenue for speciation since the usual geographic isolation isn’t coming into play given how far they travel lol
in one of his previous videos he mentioned that their bites can rival those of tyrannosaurs and, depending on species or who you ask, those could probably range anywhere from 3,000 to almost 13,000 psi, maybe more, so my guess would be somewhere in that admittedly wide range.
Thanks! Like Douglas said, probably in the lower range estimates of T. rex. While their skull is of a similar size, and the lower jaw has crazy attachment points so may actually be stronger in the chewing motion, having a large brain and needing to minimize overheating, the fast snapping motion useful in predation is a bit weaker. This means they're incredible scavengers, and if they can position prey to be chewed they can be devastating, but they lack the quick bone-breaking snap of a tyrant.
Great creepy intro and love the knight and squire dynamic (maybe there’s a pair out there called don Quixote and Sancho and knocked down a windmill). I’d be very curious to see more about how megatheropod young survive in kaimere’S mesopredator dense ecology. I know that many real life theropods had extreme ontogeny to prevent competition with their own young, and I know that uktan are k selected dedicated parents, but I don’t know how the young of komu or tika get around such intense competition with dromaeosaurs and mammalian mesopredators
Komu youngsters retain their talons until about a ton, so are basically Utahraptors. Tikakatik compete with crocodiles, but crocs actually make up a decent percentage of their diet, as their strong jaws and serrated teeth are good at opening up armored prey.
It's a topic I'll definitely be exploring down the road! That culture is going to be important in the novel series so it's definitely not the last we'll hear of them.
Given that the last two videos have heavily featured assembly naturalists from earth, I wanted to ask, does the assembly know that the portal essentially “kills” whatever enters it, and creates a copy on the other end? Or is that old lore? Loved the episode by the way! Can’t wait to learn about Kaimere’s freshwater denizens.
That is indeed their leading theory, that they are technically dead and just a copy with replicated memories. Portal travel is not for the weak of existential fortitude. Thanks so much! I'm excited too (haven't even started studying which is admittedly not how I usually do things this last minute lol)
A beast of pure force and ferocity, this is my favorite megapredator of this wonderful project, is such a magnificent beast that gains my admiration by challenging the monarchs and win. An entelodon is also a megapredator on the jungles of my project, but unlike the scarce Bokodu, Who cannot claim dominance due to the numbers game, this entelodon would be the king of the jungles, and the main nemesis of the megaprimates and theropods that share this close and sinister enviroment
The picture at 11:10 and 15:22 (and made by andy_ivanov7) is quite representative of the Uktan and others Megaraptoran biggest weakness. If a specimen lost one of his arm/hand or lost the way to move it after it break, he will have more difficulties to kill and to eat, and likely to die of starvation ! (since their bite are weak and primarily used to grap and retain preys). Especially in the biggest species who must eat a lot of food to subtain themselves. This specific Uktan is good for a entire and forever scavenging life at maximum. A good reminder for them that they maybe win a battle and became the dominant apex predators, but that the ones they defeated can strike back and hit them hard at any moment !
Keenan Taylor drops peak, waits a year to explain it, and drops peak. 1. How is the Bokodu able to dedicate energy to voice mimicry? Is it basal in their clade? 2. Are there any unique Kairulian giants they hunt besides the Koga? 3. What's the secret sauce that makes Bokodu so effective against Monarchs at that size?
Thank you! 1. Yes it is basal to the family. The magnajavalinids have a high vocal range, but the cursusids and bokodu have it far more sophisticated. 2. Yes, but they will be revealed in future episodes. 3. A singular devastating attack. Mind you, even 13 ton giants are sometimes killed, but they can generally have the advantage.
Love the accent. Also, it's kinda cool how bokodu males would sometimes take a squire. Also a 6 to 10 ton hippo said something to me as I die is kinda creep. Questions How do bokodu interact with ghlanos, koga, komu ka bawe and tikakatik? Why did you change the bokodu design?
Thanks! 1. Ghlanos and koga are both prey, though certainly not easy meals. They need to be wary of the other two, especially tikakatik with substantial armor and bites that can reliably cut their hide, but they and other giant non-megaraptoran predators tend to have an avoidance policy rather than throwing down. 2. Mostly just made the tail long-haired to deal with insects, enhanced the fat stores on the shoulder, and gave the hide a pebbled texture. The biggest difference is really just in how I've improved as an artist and that I wasn't making up the anatomy for a first draft like I was the first time around. It's not much different in its design.
I love these guys so much. These titanic beasts make the largest mammalian predators of my spec evo setting look like wimps (a tremarctine about six feet at the shoulder and over a ton in weight). Makes me wish entelodonts made it to the one specific harvesting point for creatures, but oh well.
Having an entelodont mimic your voice would be pretty unnerving, even if you happen to be friends with one, though I’m guessing that would reduce the chance of being viewed as a food item. I’m imagining a situation where a patrol gets really confused of why this land hippo is loudly yelling for help, before they see it’s injured charge, who’s hopefully lucid enough to explain the situation.
Yes, the entelodont riders being able to talk to their mounts (even if they're not smart enough to properly communicate but could at least make simple statements) is a huge part of my excitement to work on them!
I could definitely see them spouting out simple words (depending on the language) like “food” or “safe” and maybe being trained to utter words at appropriate situations. I wonder what their “voices” sound like? Sort of croaky, a raven or a human speaking whilst breathing in perhaps?
When this absolute unit was described in the book i was in awe only increased by its lack of an entry in the managerie of the book (thats a good thing)
Again, sorry for the long comments but I have to many questions and thoughts. 1.Give me a that story about a knight and squire, RIGHT KNOW!(Old Sport *fnaf jumpscare* ) 2.Would a boar try a ghlanos? Adding to that free for all between Ghlanos, Uktan, and Bokodu who wins?(all males in their prime) 3. Were giant entelodonts morep common in the past 4. Captions:*intellidons* also no indricotheres😞 5. Voice mimicking entelodonts! Mr Taylor where do you get your ideas from Rakia Hogs(land hippos in the common tounge) are viewed in a variety of ways smaller species are essentially pig roaches stole that from stocky, medium sized animals make common familiars and one family has even been domesticated and in the wild they love to follow carcharodontosaurs for the bone left behind on titan kills and the largest, surprisingly, intergrate well into super rhino herds.
1. haha working on it! The only reason it might not appear in the next anthology is I have too many things I want to do with it and the synopsis is quickly becoming too big for even a novella lol 2. Yes, but they usually won't try to tackle a stallion unless desperate. The bokodu will probably win, but a ghlanos's half-meter claws are no joke and the chances of a few deep punctures like that getting infected means it's not something he'll try without need. Uktan aren't as prone to throw down as the other two, being a dedicated predator they like to pick fights they know they can win, but having almost daily fighting to get dinner means they're pretty experienced. I still think the bokodu wins in a 3-way royal, but both foes have a solid chance of winning. 3. Yes, there were a couple species in the family Carnopachydermidae before the megaraptorans came along and hunted them down to the biggest wanderer. 4. Yeah they never had a chance RIP. 5. That one I can't claim originality from: I basically ripped off the leucrotta from Ethiopian folklore/Pliny the Elder. I dig it!
Well, this is the stuff of nightmares. I've also been working on large carnivore niche partitioning in the terai ecosystem, and am considering trying to add jaguars in the mix if ecologically feasible.
Nice single animal video of an animal outside the Known World after the chimpanzee. Some questions: 1. Were the giant taros present with the giant abelisaurs, dromaeosaurs, and entelodonts during the Warring Clades Period before Arveltih megaraptorans took over? If so, how did giant taros niche partition with the giant abelisaurs, dromaeosaurs, and entelodonts? 2. Do juvenile bokodu have different niches than adults? 3. 10:17 That's around the size of an average palaeoloxodon antiquus! Speaking of which, what would happen if a bokodu were to encounter a paraceratherium (or palaeoloxodon)?
1. Not in Kairul, that niche was taken by cursorial abelisaurids. 2. Sort of. Still omnivores, but by virtue of size browse on lower plants and hunt smaller prey. 3. Yes indeed! Not on the scale of Paraceratherium and the (admittedly dubious) largest specimen of P. namadicus, but quite a massive beast. They might try to tackle them, but perhaps unlikely since they're reluctant to take on a ghlanos stallion which weighs half as much as a Paraceratherium.
One thing I was curious about was the logistics of nursing, as calves seem far too short to nurse from a standing position like most modern large ungulates (like elephants and giraffes). Does that mean the sows would lie down more like swine to nurse their young?
That's a very good point a couple folks have now made that I'll freely admit I had not considered! Might need to make the calf's neck longer and perhaps longer legs, as forcing the mom to lie down would make her very vulnerable and slouching quite exhausting. Maybe they could kneel, but again, a compromised position.
I have a coupe of questions, Are there any tales of Bokodu or Na' hashets gone rouge man eater using there mimicery to there advantage? And are there any Troglobite fauna in Kaimere? great video as always, stuff out of the know world is a treat
Considering the size of kairul, it would be illogical to try to fit it all in one video. Perhaps when you start exploring it more, you could start with a video or video series on the parts explored by kaimerians. By the way, what other creatures would have been encountered by the expedition in the beginning?
Yeah Kairul would at least need to be broken into three parts (western and eastern 'node' and the equatorial expanse between). They would have encountered all the animals met in the short story Grandmother's Roots, so lots of crocodiles, camelids, small dinosaurs, stuff like that. Not a ton of terrestrial megafauna on that arid stretch of coast.
Was the mimicing based off of that fucking freaky bear from Annihilation? if so then that makes these creatures already something I dont want to encounter
Was actually inspired by the leucrotta I ran in a dnd game back in high school (and by extension its mythical counterpart and that described by Pliny the Elder), but the same basic principle! I definitely enjoyed that movie and although I don't think the bear was a reference to the leucrotta/leucrocotta, it was quite similar. Pliny's description of the leucrocotta is what inspired the na'hashet: "The swiftest of all beasts, about the size of an ass, with a stag's haunches, a lion's neck, tail and breast, badger's head, cloven hoof, mouth opening right back to the ears, and ridges of bone in place of rows of teeth-this animal is reported to imitate the voices of human beings." -Pliny the Elder
@@TalesofKaimere well still, that bear made me nearly shit myself first time. Its terrifying, and I imagine a Kaimeran hearing a distorted shout "Help Me" coming from a pair of glowing eyes in the wild would make them actually just faint or shit themselves
@@TalesofKaimere It's possible that a true bear on Kaimere (of course an Uku bear) can become like the Annihilation's bear in the movie, after a mutation from the Hive Portal ?
I remind myself that you did on Facebook a black and white picture of a Knight and Squire Bokodu you post the 29 december 2022. Since it take the old Bokodu design who is now an ancestor species of him, she could not be used in this video for the Bokodu. However, can it be reused as a scene depiction of justly the ancetral species of the Bokodu, and showing that this Knight and Squire relationship already existed in this ancestral species at the time of the Megaraptoran arival on kairul, and be one of the predispositions that lead to this single ancetral species to survived this arrival while the others giants entelodont of the same cade became extinct because they haven't this relationship ? That would made sens and give more complexity to the species and this relationship's History, and not made this relationship just an behaviro edits that occured in response to the Megaraptorans in the same time and after the arrival of these latter on kairul (which would be very generic thing). No ?
It's nice that we are again in a "1 episode per week" against a "1 episode per 2 weeks" format ! But why ? You said that will be in this second format until the Elephants mini-series epiosdes. It's because there was additionals episodes who were sponsorised that just recently cames ?
It’s certainly got a lot going for it. Uktan has much greater speed, endurance, and agility, but the bokodu just needs to get in one good hit. If the fight lasts longer than an initial charge, uktans chances go way up, but if a bokodu lands that bite it’s over
Are tragulidae or moschidae present in Kaimere? Or do other animal groups fill their niches. If all the harvested ungulates where rather derived animals, then there seem to be no small forest dwelling ungulates in kaimere.
Are you ever thinking of doing an episode on abelisaurs it would be a cool concept from the giant brutes to the gracile semi-aquatic predator there also my favourite dinosaur species 😂

Thanks! You should be able to have local bookstores order them but if not Amazon and many other retailers sell them. As for capys: no since they hadn’t yet evolved in the most recent harvest, though I may have some analogues relatives
Shared inspiration: the leucrotta. I don’t actually know if the bear was inspired by the leucrotta but it’s a similar core concept. Bokodu and the other talking entelodonts are more similar to it than the bear is so that may be independent
Wait, they have 7 sets of teeth?! How? Aren't mammals have only two? Milk and adult teeth. Also great video in general, it menaged to drag me of from rewatching episode about Permian Islands for like 11th time, maybe more...
Generally mammals only have 2 sets of teeth but there are exceptions. For example elephants have 6 sets of molars which they replace throughout their lives. I assume the reason why the bokodu have a similar adaptation has to do with their long lifespan
Thank you so much! Glad so many folks loved that island episode! It's the one I put the most work into so am elated at the reception. Yup! Figured a slow-growing animal of this size and regular wear and tear on the teeth would seriously benefit from such an adaptation. There's not a ton of precedent for it (elephants and I think a species of shrew) but Kaimerans have it too since one set of adult teeth for 7-10 centuries sounds... miserable lol
@@TalesofKaimereWhat? I just thought their teeth lasted much longer because of the magic in their bodies. How many sets of teeth they have? When the mutation appeared? Approximately how long does one set of teeth last?
@@stegosandrosos1291 They get a new set every century. Mutation is linked to the hereditary magic itself, as it's easier for magic to effectively repeat the process of growing adult teeth than it is to put so much enamel down that it can withstand 7 centuries of abuse.

How could the hell pigs grow as big or even bigger than T Rex? And what would happen if T Rex became an invasive species in Kaimere, would the Uktan be powerful enough to fight a T Rex?
Uktan would almost certainly lose in a fight against T. rex. They’re faster and have more endurance, probably more agile, but they need to bite then grapple then stab. Rex just needs one good bite and it’s over. Pretty reliable rex win in my opinion.

These animals are really cool, I love entelodonts. It’s a good thing the bokodu isn’t real though cause they would be insanely scary and I would probably end up teaching them to say stupid things like “Among Us” if given the chance. Also I love the music
Thanks! Haha yeah their mimicry could get out of hand.
We should probably get ready for a ton of Jeremy Wade jokes/references in the comment section of the upcoming video
Ain't that the truth. Everything I know about fishing and fish stories, I learned from that man.
Thanks so much I'm elated to hear it!
Ok the word mimicry thing just made the Bokodu 10 times scarier.
@@TalesofKaimere Oh, the species have plenty of another good days before it, as we can see in this video.
@@TalesofKaimere Oh man, there were more of these? Hmmm... Kudos to you for the most terrifying intro ever! It was seriously chilling!
Wonderful, giant hippos that live on land and mimic voices. As if they weren't bad enough.
The relationship between knights and Squires is pretty adorable, tho
Heck yeah! I'm really looking forward to the knight and squire story!
that intro diary entry was hellishly immersive
These have to be my favorite predators of Kaimere, can’t wait for the other kings of the eastern continent!
Heck yeah thanks!
Amazing video as always Keenan, that story you told kind of reminds me of the horrific bear creature from annihilation and how it sounded like a woman screaming or groaning. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!! While I was more inspired by the leucrotta, the annihilation bear definitely inspired the sequence too. A really fantastic segment!
Ukatan hunting Bokudo making their way to the known world would probably cause ukatan population to drop to the point of noticing and will probably be the stuff of legend to the shou
Indeed. Anything that can kill an uktan would definitely catch their attention!
Nice to see the changes on the new animals draws
Absolutely fabulous as always!
Thanks so much!
A long form story of a Knight and a squire travelling together across Kairul will make a great long episode.
Absolutely!
Thank you for your hard work, we all appreciate it. You are a incredible, amazing, and wonderful person. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Major glow up and Massive Mammalian W put together, great video.
Thanks a bunch!!
Damn I would *LOVE* a manga adaptation of this series at some point.
Then maybe an anime or a Gendy style animation of somekind.
This world needs a much bigger audience. Its so absolutely deserving of one!! ❤
Thank you so much!!
I would adore an animated adaptation. I think that would serve the world better than live action personally
@@TalesofKaimere oh holy crap yes. There is already a gross bloat of awful amateur aswell as professional projects that very obviously should have been animated... 🤔

That and I'd also love to learn more about the Komu Ka Bawe, and Tikakatik. Those two, especially the former intrigue me.
I'd love to do one! Might redraw the komu to have a slightly different posture since it's a cockatrice and I think that would be fun, but their designs overall are the same and there's a lot to cover about both!
@@TalesofKaimere Hell yeah! All I know is I'm making figurines of all of them in the future.
Amazing, as always.
Keenan every video is extraordinary. You are amazing.
Thank you!!
How terrifying do you want Entelodonts on Kaimere to be?
Keenan: Yes!
In all seriousness, though, the Bokodu looks awesome!
haha thanks! Yes I may have invested in their peak horror but I like to keep it spicy
Best big boi. Love how this turned out man.
Hell yeah thanks man! Pleasure as always
Oh wow! Super cool! I like the narration. How strong are their bites?
in one of his previous videos he mentioned that their bites can rival those of tyrannosaurs and, depending on species or who you ask, those could probably range anywhere from 3,000 to almost 13,000 psi, maybe more, so my guess would be somewhere in that admittedly wide range.
@@TalesofKaimere very cool
@@Douggernaut111 thanks!
Another amazing video! Quick question, do you plan on making a video about the people of the Northern Plains? Entelodonts as mounts seem so badass.
It's a topic I'll definitely be exploring down the road! That culture is going to be important in the novel series so it's definitely not the last we'll hear of them.
I hope you can make a vid about kaimeran entelodonts in general and maybe other more bizarre creatures.
Would definitely be good! Wanted to have a segment on them for this episode but as usual I ran out of time.
This was a fun watch. You keep upping your game.
Thanks so much!
Whicj videos
A beast of pure force and ferocity, this is my favorite megapredator of this wonderful project, is such a magnificent beast that gains my admiration by challenging the monarchs and win.
An entelodon is also a megapredator on the jungles of my project, but unlike the scarce Bokodu, Who cannot claim dominance due to the numbers game, this entelodon would be the king of the jungles, and the main nemesis of the megaprimates and theropods that share this close and sinister enviroment
I dig it!
Questions
How do bokodu interact with ghlanos, koga, komu ka bawe and tikakatik?
Entelodonts were such cool animals! A pity the generalist approach didn't pan out for them.
Bokodu are basically a mix between pig, elephant, lion and bear! 😂
Ive noticed how some creatures in kaimere have got redesigned like the titular bokodu and titan crow
Are you back on your "normal" schedule? Or is this just a treat.
Think normal but I'm trying to integrate more short form episodes so I still have time to write lol
When this absolute unit was described in the book i was in awe only increased by its lack of an entry in the managerie of the book (thats a good thing)
Thanks! Had a lot of fun with that cameo. Probably should have mentioned it here but what can ya do lol
I havent read any of the books
The knight and squire dynamic sounds similar to the two protagonists of the Bear, that movie from the 80s.
Not a film I've seen but sounds neat!
This is Awesome! 👏
Thank you!!
Again, sorry for the long comments but I have to many questions and thoughts.
1.Give me a that story about a knight and squire, RIGHT KNOW!(Old Sport *fnaf jumpscare* )
2.Would a boar try a ghlanos? Adding to that
free for all between Ghlanos, Uktan, and Bokodu who wins?(all males in their prime)
3. Were giant entelodonts morep common in the past
4. Captions:*intellidons* also no indricotheres😞
5. Voice mimicking entelodonts! Mr Taylor where do you get your ideas from
Rakia Hogs(land hippos in the common tounge) are viewed in a variety of ways smaller species are essentially pig roaches stole that from stocky, medium sized animals make common familiars and one family has even been domesticated and in the wild they love to follow carcharodontosaurs for the bone left behind on titan kills and the largest, surprisingly, intergrate well into super rhino herds.
1. haha working on it! The only reason it might not appear in the next anthology is I have too many things I want to do with it and the synopsis is quickly becoming too big for even a novella lol
Great...Now i want a Prehistoric Planet Level Docuseries about the Bokodu and other Creatures. But a Bestiary will be fine as well 😉
I would be delighted!
Nice single animal video of an animal outside the Known World after the chimpanzee. Some questions:
This is gonna be good
I have a coupe of questions, Are there any tales of Bokodu or Na' hashets gone rouge man eater using there mimicery to there advantage?
And are there any Troglobite fauna in Kaimere?
great video as always, stuff out of the know world is a treat
Absolutely. Man-eaters of both are well documented.
Yes, some caves have a pretty fun ecosystem that I'll be talking about in the next couple months!
@@TalesofKaimere nice that will be very interesting
Ima simple man, all i deserve is the update on a Bokudo whit is area range map.
Please, just ear my little words, Mr. Kennan 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
Have you ever thought of making kaimere a playable game? It would be sick
Would love that! Someday perhaps

"Whos going to grow up to be a demon hog? yes you are, yes you are."
Pliny's description of the leucrocotta is what inspired the na'hashet:
"The swiftest of all beasts, about the size of an ass, with a stag's haunches, a lion's neck, tail and breast, badger's head, cloven hoof, mouth opening right back to the ears, and ridges of bone in place of rows of teeth-this animal is reported to imitate the voices of human beings." -Pliny the Elder
Great video, good job!
Question, how smart are bokodu and other gracile entelodonts?
They are quite intelligent! Maybe not elephant levels, but pretty close. Definitely moreso than their golf ball brained ancestors

A small titanosaur
Surprising that I haven't seen a video about all other entelodonts of kaimere.
Haven’t had a sponsor yet!
Ngl I think I’m a 1v1 against a Utkan the Bokodu might actually win most of the time
It’s certainly got a lot going for it.
Mostly I just haven't filled out smaller animal niches. It's not that they aren't present, I just haven't picked which fills those niches yet.
The bokuda is insanely huge. It’s more like a deodon on steroids

The top hog of kaimere
Is it weird that I have a feeling that the Mutant Bear from Annihilation was one of the main inspirations for the Bokodu?
