Self Drilling Screws For Thick Steel

Impact drivers do a little better job when installing self drilling screws into steel because of the higher rpm. Also available self drill screws in stainless and exterior coated.

Most professionals claim that drilling into steel works better with a LOWER rpm.

You are right it isn't, thanks for catching that. I actually found 4 more misspellings when I checked the description! As for the speed, we found the impact faster in out testing which were not very scientific at all. Several tool companies actually make screw guns designed for TEK screws that do run higher RPM, in the neighborhood of 2500 RPM.
