Man this is insane, in one full year watching your videos, your stream and by playing. I got from bronze 2, with people that have a mind all the way wrong, to gold 3 with people that still have the wrong mind but in general people are okay. Watching your videos REALLY help even if your videos dont help directly, if you think about the stuff you've said in your videos in some game, the information does match with any game. Keep making good stuffs!
I imagine people not reacting in time wouldn't actually happen as much at bronze since I'm sure a large amount of the people play with a locked screen.
joefish41 most of my friends are in bronze and use a locked screen because they have little fps and it's harder for them to play with an unlocked screen.
I know this is super old but any chance you could do a full game pausing like this and showing your evolving thought process on when/where to back, what is safe and what isn't etc.
Just wanted to say Thank You for all the tips you have on your channel, when i was in bronze and desperately needed more knowledge - being a quick learner helped me rise in ranks just from learning from my own mistakes, watching streams & reviewing my match replays, but your videos helped most of all) I'm S4 P2 now) Simply learning from mistakes and listening closely to the experienced Can make you a better player if you want to be one)
I was ashuming he said ashuming wrongly but maybe I was ashuming wrongly but I could be ashuming correctly since I saw other people like you mentioned he said ashuming wrongly too I ashume.
I also remember a fairly recent LCS game where Wickd facechecked a bush where the entire enemy team was and he didn't even react, you could tell he was looking at top and not himself.
Mke a series of thes, it's helping us more than the keep calm series. I try to keep calm, but staying calm doesn't do a thing if you just can't make the right choices.
So I was forced to jungle in a ranked game today. Noticed my top lane was pushed up so decided I needed to come in for a counter gank. Saved his life, got him a double kill and double buffs and he snow balled from there. Thank you foxdrop!!
My higher elo friends (plat, diamond) said I would be a higher elo if I had better decision making. Being in silver, this video really helped so I was wondering if you could do more videos in a similar fashion.
What if i stand there and Vi goes to his jungle or even CJ me, and i loose soo much time without even getting experience? Cos i tried this and the other jungler went to bot, and it wasnt pushed...
hey fox, question, what am I supposed to do when I try to ask my team to help grab objectives or place wards but not one actually responds or listens? I try to ward a lot but with the 3 ward limit it's hard to maintain good vision, and soloing things like baron and dragon (early on at least) is near impossible for a guy like me with not so great skill
I already do this when I jungle because I main khazix and I am very good at counterganking but cant seem to get out of oce bronze... I dont know why this happens but usually I end up carrying my team, but not enough to win.
hey man, i saw a video a while ago about input lagging you did. I cant find it. Its where you can cast a spell while being out of range and flash to within range or something and it cast the spell faster. Do you have a link to it?
Captain got it, the red Lizard/blue Golem do quite a bit of damage at level 1 but only have melee attack range, so if you can step out of their range and avoid their damage, you might save yourself a couple health pots :) The little things make the differences!
It's actually got to do with the attack speed. If you stand still attacking, there is a split second you're doing nothing after the attack. In this split second, the monster can attack you for a free trade since your attack is on cd. So you move back until your attack is off cd and go again
About the countergank in the tri bush top is it still viable if u have tank jungler because i most of the time play them.(Rammus,Sejuani, etc type jungler) or should i only do this with junglers like Vi and Xin.
It's a bit different for laning. You can assume that the enemy wants to grab that cannon CS, so you can make preparations to set up a favourable trade when they do so, etc.
I think Decision Making is WAY more important late game....cuz if u do something stupid and u die u won't respawn for a minute or even longer which can lose ur team the teamfight but if u make a good decision and end up killing your enemies it's the other way around and u can end the game from there :D
Great video, liked it, want more pls. Ok what happens if orianna didn't ward, she and zac are pushed up, what do you do? Which lane do you go to counter gank?
I'd have gone mid cus vi is likely going there for an easier kill (zac would've had flash and his e on top of his passive, ori has only flash. Also a kill/assist on zed can snowball him really hard).
Hey foxdrop! Can you give me tips? I was playing as master yi. I was very strong but my team kept on feeding the enemy team. I pushed top and bot, but still my team goes to mid and clashes with the enemy team even if I tell them to wait for me. So they all die. I don't trash talk them, I don't flame them, I'm just playing normally. But still we lost because of my team not listening to me.
And how do you improve on your late game decisions? what I am talking about is being the "shotcaller" for the team and strategically tell them what to do next to win the game (for example trapping someone and then going for a turret + Baron, smth like this). Because obviously you need to be able to make good decisions as a team to advance in league. I myself am currently gold and I actually think I would be able to go higher when it comes to game mechanics, but for me my decision making is an insuperable obstacle :/ Mostly when it comes to late game team decisions, because I just don`t know when it is time to do what. This way I usually fail to recognize the good opportunities to push or to take an objective, and therefore I lose in the end. And to be honest, at least 90% of the games I lose, could be won SO easily if my strategic late game decision making was better. so how can I improve on this one?
Can you make another one of these, this has helped me a lot, and if you make more, maybe all games won't be blow outs or a surrender at 20 game. More games will be close, and could last 50 minutes to an hour.
Do more videos about decisions pls! Im plat5 and never thought about wating for the enemy jungler to countergank >. < Maybe there are more situations where u would act in a different/better way cuz u are diamond.
With AP runes forget jax jungle early game onlt with some AD/armor pen runes you would do something, jax cant outrade khazix, Vi or lee sin in the jungle the only thing he has is a massive stun but cant do nothing to the burst of the others and some atack speed.
J SAUNDERS No it isn't. When you title something, only the non-linking words get capitalized. This means if you title was, say, "how to write a paper" your capitalizations would be "How to Write a Paper."
You mean in term of where you live? In that case I honestly don't know what it would be elsewhere, as my degree is in English from an American university.
England here, I only say this because I had a good friend who used to work in titles, the guy always typed with Every Letter Capitalized Every Time Not Necessarily The Non-Linking Words, It was his professional job so maybe it was specialized only to him? I'unno, you're probably right... But then again the English language is always changing. I mean "LOL" is in the Oxford Dictionary for some reason. Haha. As for FoxDrops title I think it makes it pop more and is perfectly fine to do. =)
If I ever manage to kill the enemy jungler before 5 minutes in my normal games they usually go afk. Especially when it is a shaco because they absolutely hate being counter jungled or put behind.
The thing with not paying attention, not too right in bronze... in such a low elo 90% (10% smurfs) have their screen locked so they only "take a look at top" on their minimap.
there is only one problem, in lower leagues, people dont really gank that obvious so counterganking is hard, specially when they decide to max feral and stay in jungle for like 3 hours
I think that doing that is actually harder at lower elo because people are more focused on their own game and don't really care about what everyone else is doing, so they are constantly locked onto their character. But that's just from personal experiences :P
The Great Gyrofluff Irelia has cc and zed doesnt so its alot easier to lock up zac. Also oriana has the side where vi would come from warded plus being overextended mid is alot less bad since top lane is ALOT longer.
God, Foxy, I clicked on this hoping it'd be like a full post-game commentary about decision making.... Your voice is just mmmf #FoxyReadUs50ShadesOfGrey
5:37 Well actually people in low elo usually play in a locked camera mode (including me, I'm not saying it's a thing only noobs do, but I constantly unlock it and look around the map. It's just easier when I'm moving and clearing the jungle. I unlock it for example when I look at the lane when I'm busy doing whight camp or something and just think "oh yeah, this is gankable") so it would be harder to set up something like that. But you can get that in your advantage. They see the area around them, but they don't give a shit about the mini-map. (my teammates in a nutshell) So if you assume where their jungler is, you just go the opposite way and he won't even counter gank because only way he will notice you ganked is if you get a kill and he will get notified on the right side of his screen on on chat by 4 peope saying "omg noob jungler 0 ganks I report u scrub" even though it's 5 minutes in the game.
joefish41 You'd be surprised how many people do... To each their own and if you play better and enjoy it, then who am I to say different? But if you ever want to really improve, you definitely need to drop the locked screen.
Turn that shit off right now :D No seriously it will help you in the long run. I hold space to center the camera on myself instead, whenever it's needed.

This is why you don't take a nap before you release the video... I FIXED THE TYPO GUYS I'M SORRY! English isn't my first language.
Wait...
This typo shall haunt you forever Foxdrop! >:D
still... ASHOOM
Riot uploaded on the site this video gj foxdrop!!!
Thnx for the help make more of these vids im playing for something like 1 and a half year and still not 30, cause not playing a lot. Its so close.
***** Teemo aSHROOMed this would happen

I'm in Bronze 1 after starting at 4 and working my way up to the LCS ;) I don't have a locked screen. I also don't think anybody does that.
joefish41
most of my friends are in bronze and use a locked screen because they have little fps and it's harder for them to play with an unlocked screen.
abcgehf1
Get them to play with an unlocked screen and they should improve too :)
i tried but they refuse and say that unlocked screen "is only for lcs pros" lol
RinTheDragon
Solwolf?
Today I've learned that, if it's sunny, I have to make the dyanimc decision of going to the beach. Thanks foxdrop!
I know this is super old but any chance you could do a full game pausing like this and showing your evolving thought process on when/where to back, what is safe and what isn't etc.

I ASHURE YOU THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE WAY I SAY IT
yes this was bothering me the whole video. I was cringing lol
foxdropLoL - Be a Better League Player
Plot-twist: Foxdrop is actually Sean Connery.
Would it be possible to do this just for the other roles also?
I would greatly appriciate it.
I find that lower elo's would notice getting killed in the bush faster because not many people in that elo play with their screen unlocked.
So I was forced to jungle in a ranked game today. Noticed my top lane was pushed up so decided I needed to come in for a counter gank. Saved his life, got him a double kill and double buffs and he snow balled from there. Thank you foxdrop!!
I use these to help me play Starcraft 2, haven't played LoL in years. It's generally good info to live by TBH.
As always, well explained and to the point. Keep up the good work.
My higher elo friends (plat, diamond) said I would be a higher elo if I had better decision making. Being in silver, this video really helped so I was wondering if you could do more videos in a similar fashion.
"a-shoemed" information lmao
This video really helped me improve my "dyanimc" decision making :D
Foxdrop - You read my mind, been looking for a video like this for ages!
Really enjoy your intro Foxdrop! Its sick haha
What if i stand there and Vi goes to his jungle or even CJ me, and i loose soo much time without even getting experience? Cos i tried this and the other jungler went to bot, and it wasnt pushed...
Very nice video, i'd appreciate more of this kind!
Decision making is a huge part of jungling :)
It's been a few seasons. But still really relevant in getting into jgling
hey fox, question, what am I supposed to do when I try to ask my team to help grab objectives or place wards but not one actually responds or listens? I try to ward a lot but with the 3 ward limit it's hard to maintain good vision, and soloing things like baron and dragon (early on at least) is near impossible for a guy like me with not so great skill
Just wanna say you are a huge help, thank you for making such good videos.
THAT INTRO IS JUST SO AMAZING!
This is really helpful, will definitely try to use this in my games.
I already do this when I jungle because I main khazix and I am very good at counterganking but cant seem to get out of oce bronze... I dont know why this happens but usually I end up carrying my team, but not enough to win.

Your intro reminds me of these Pivot animations i used to make back in the day
Now what should that Vi do to come back ? farming or try to take kills and assists ganking?
Need a full game of this.
foxdropLoL - Be a Better League Player im not gonna lie becuase of you i went from silver to plat, ur the best keep it up and have a nice day!
Hey Fox, can you explain why you kept taking one step back at the start at red buff? Does that have any sort of purpose?
I think he does that to interrupt the Golems Autoattack and get less dmg
I kinda doubt that, since it seemed like he did took the damage...might be true though
Captain got it, the red Lizard/blue Golem do quite a bit of damage at level 1 but only have melee attack range, so if you can step out of their range and avoid their damage, you might save yourself a couple health pots :) The little things make the differences!

He is attack-moving. Everyone does it to auto faster because when you move you cancel the second half of the animation.
Holy!! I learn a lot from it Fox lol May u plz do more this sort of video plz ?
About the countergank in the tri bush top is it still viable if u have tank jungler because i most of the time play them.(Rammus,Sejuani, etc type jungler) or should i only do this with junglers like Vi and Xin.
how do you spectate yourself please tell me
4:40 report Zac, his ward is buggy.
Huehuehue
Project Zed
Zac #1 - place ward, spawn jungler.
good vid, helps alot
i was wondering how can i apply this to laning phase do i assume cd's summoners and abilities or what when trading and warding and being ganked?
It's a bit different for laning. You can assume that the enemy wants to grab that cannon CS, so you can make preparations to set up a favourable trade when they do so, etc.
I think Decision Making is WAY more important late game....cuz if u do something stupid and u die u won't respawn for a minute or even longer which can lose ur team the teamfight but if u make a good decision and end up killing your enemies it's the other way around and u can end the game from there :D
just a little question: why are you pulling the red out at the beginning? :)

@5:00 "Blow her Summoner" think about it.
Can't one argue that at lower elo the enemy's decision making could be pretty bad that you don't really know what they will do?
How can you turn this informations in your gane if you are an adc jungler?
The same way he did in the video, duh. You decide to either farm jungle or try to gank after buff camps
And how do you improve on your late game decisions? what I am talking about is being the "shotcaller" for the team and strategically tell them what to do next to win the game (for example trapping someone and then going for a turret + Baron, smth like this). Great tips, very helpful. And , how r u spectating urself?
hi can some one tell me what runes is he running here?
The moment you explained why you think vi would gank top, and why zac was the perfect target to be ganked, vi showed up in the midlane xD
Can you make another one of these, this has helped me a lot, and if you make more, maybe all games won't be blow outs or a surrender at 20 game. More games will be close, and could last 50 minutes to an hour.
hey foxdrop, love your videos they are so helpful. I know you probably get asked this a lot, but what type of keyboard do you use?
Do more of this! I like this
where's the attack move video? :)
Did Lucian and Orianna catch Janna or did she execute?
What runes&masteries do you use? Or have you already made a video about it? I'll check now :)
Do more videos about decisions pls! Im plat5 and never thought about wating for the enemy jungler to countergank >. <
Maybe there are more situations where u would act in a different/better way cuz u are diamond.
In psychology this is referred to as Fluid Intelligence :)
Is Jax jungle strong early game? i only have AP runes
With AP runes forget jax jungle early game onlt with some AD/armor pen runes you would do something, jax cant outrade khazix, Vi or lee sin in the jungle the only thing he has is a massive stun but cant do nothing to the burst of the others and some atack speed.
Do you play with or without locked screen?
Why do you have caps at the start of every word?
Because that's how a Title should be typed/written out. And since it's the name of this video, it's a Title. :)
J SAUNDERS No it isn't. When you title something, only the non-linking words get capitalized. This means if you title was, say, "how to write a paper" your capitalizations would be "How to Write a Paper."
Thanks for the reply, it's different techniques for different places I guess. :)
You mean in term of where you live? In that case I honestly don't know what it would be elsewhere, as my degree is in English from an American university.

this is amazing how you explain!
what does my dynamic decicions matter if my adc has 10 cs at 20 and dies every 35 seconds and calls me useless. pls
Whats the champion called that he is playing with?
Gibraot ツ khazix
If I ever manage to kill the enemy jungler before 5 minutes in my normal games they usually go afk. Especially when it is a shaco because they absolutely hate being counter jungled or put behind.
Good Video Thank you!
The thing with not paying attention, not too right in bronze... in such a low elo 90% (10% smurfs) have their screen locked so they only "take a look at top" on their minimap.
foxdrop where did you get your intro? i have seen others use it.
I don't understand, what is the typo :/
It's the beauty of someone face checking you :D
there is only one problem, in lower leagues, people dont really gank that obvious so counterganking is hard, specially when they decide to max feral and stay in jungle for like 3 hours
good thing i have a habit that always watching my spot before entering bush because of this situation that had happen to me before
I think that doing that is actually harder at lower elo because people are more focused on their own game and don't really care about what everyone else is doing, so they are constantly locked onto their character. But that's just from personal experiences :P
But why did Vi not gank mid since she was there zed was hi enough health and ori was extended far?
The Great Gyrofluff Irelia has cc and zed doesnt so its alot easier to lock up zac. Also oriana has the side where vi would come from warded plus being overextended mid is alot less bad since top lane is ALOT longer.
ashoomd information
give this man a cookie!and cup of tea xD
God, Foxy, I clicked on this hoping it'd be like a full post-game commentary about decision making.... Your voice is just mmmf
#FoxyReadUs50ShadesOfGrey
Awesome job, bro
TRUNDLE JUNGLE PLEASE
5:37 it would have gone better for her in lower league cause then she would have played with locked screen ;:D
People don't actually do that do they!?
joefish41
You'd be surprised how many people do... To each their own and if you play better and enjoy it, then who am I to say different? But if you ever want to really improve, you definitely need to drop the locked screen.
if people are playing ranked with a locked screen there's a big issue.
veeeeery interesting, good vid
rarely see people react like that vi in lower ranks cause they probably too self centre to move camera
I don't know, I can only play with lock-screen, its hard for me to move screen like that (plat5)
Turn that shit off right now :D
No seriously it will help you in the long run. I hold space to center the camera on myself instead, whenever it's needed.
i played with locked screen until i came up to gold this season, then i decided that i needed to learn how to play with unlocked screen because u get much more awarness and when u learn it u wont lose yourself. after awhile it was pretty awsome and now im plat :DD
I must be dyslexic because I read Dyanimc in the title as dynamic automatically.
It was something I'd ashumed *wink wink, nod nod*.
You could do more of these ^^
Hey FoxDrop what did you mean by "do some pvp stuff"?
helped me a lot thanks :D
what shoes!?
Thanks man, maybe my brain will finally work better next game :D
That's quite basic, but i guess mid game decisions are more important than early game. Early game you can do mainly you routine, but later on you have to switch you decisions to win the game.
hey ive been playing for a month and im level 16, compared to other people and watching ur bronze analysis vids, i think that people arent that bad, I mean im better than the people that u saw and that bronzies are underrated. my score isnt that bad and i main xin zhao jungle and darius top.I think that u give excellent tips but bronzies arent that bad :P
Back when Kha was super OP i was terrible with him, but I really like him. Is he still good, and like what do you max first now (still Q I assume) what do you evolve first (are we back to Q) and is he even worth it since they made it so that targets are basically never isolated. I mean he still has missing health damage, a good stealth, a jump and a slow, but yeah.
He is still op, and will always be. Yeah, you max Q first and evolve E or Q first, it kinda depends. I'd go with e first if i'm fed because of the resets.
Actually evolve R first it gives 3 stealths, 50% damage reduce and 2 seconds every stealth, you just get more out of it.
kha is actually considered the stronger jungler ahahah, and you evolve R
***** that's old you evolve r now for stealth and damage reduction
A pro said max w evolve q then max q and evolve e then max e and evolve w
This works mostly in dia, in lower elo its common for people to play with locked screens :\
foxdrop correct the title :)
inb4 "IT'S DYNAMIC NOT DYANIMC, FOXDROP" comments
great vid thks
Title typo aha?
When he says "Assume" it sounds like he's saying "Ashe-Oom" LOL
omg the lee sin stick man
