FYI - Bro, these are actually fakes. There are only two authorized resellers on Amazon. Oofos are not made in China like these ones in this video show. The real model for these are made in Vietnam.

Just an update: I tried wearing these a lot more and they are super comfy, no question here, and after trying the Nike Calm Slides, those were way more unstable to me than these. The cosmetic issue was still there however, never went away which is odd.
Also, Available Now! My Sock Collab w/ APTHCRY is live, appreciate everyone that cops! apthcry.com/heskicks

On the bottom of the slides, it should say “Made in Vietnam”. If yours say China, you got the Amazon fakes. Can’t really judge a product if you don’t have the authentic.. 🤷‍♂️

I have a pair of these in the flip-flip version and I agree with the outsole instability (I also have wide feet).
However, these are great in serving the purpose it’s intended for: runner’s recovery. After a 90-minute run, I love wearing them around the house or to the grocery store. Gives my legs and feet the relief I need after a tougher run. They’re not the best for casual wear though, hence why I’ve been watching most of your slide review videos haha. Keep up the great work!

Oofos are super soft. Very helpful if you have plantar fasciitis or just need a good revovery shoe. They are not very stable and not very suitable for outside. I think the gap doesn't matter, actually it reduces some weight, but yeah, maybe for wide feet it's a disadvantage.

  • @tylacy7216

Thanks for the review. I was debating between these and the Hoka slides and almost purchased because they were said to have more "squish". I'm a wide footer and the stability issue takes these off my list.

You have the wrong size! I know you are a half size and go up because of a wide foot , but you can see just looking at your foot in the shoe that there is too much shoe at the front and back. I bought these for plantar fasciitis and they are amazing! They have to fit right though! I also have wide feet and I had to buy the velcro version since my feet wouldn't comfortably fit in the regular slides. They are probably far less unstable if you actually have the right size

Love the pair of Oofos that I have, After two years they are worn down enough that it is time to replace them. I wear them around the house and are super comfy. I like a lot of squish and these do the job.

On my 6th pair of OOFOS slides. Plantar Fasciitis is so painful and these have eliminated that for me. I get home and wear these constantly. ❤️❤️❤️ The lack of sole does not bother the fit and I wear a 12

The Oofos are extremely comfortable and work as advertised but I just started wearing today. I do NOT want to walk or stand without these. Feel best without socks but I would size up if wearing socks. PRICEY for the issues you mentioned. They should fix that with that price. I will buy more for sure because they are recovering my tired feet so well. I walk a lot and I needed this slide.

I don't have a stability issue but they are slippery AF particularly on Tile. The Foam is super energy absorbing and feels quite different from my Alphabounce slides but GD I nearly ate SH*T so many times with this slide. (12.5E-13E)

Their sandals (flipflops) were comfortable but very UNSAFE when they got wet, even sweat would cause my foot to slide out the side of the shoe, even on level ground. I almost sprained my ankle a couple of times but I kept wearing them when I should have thrown them away. Eventually my foot slipped out against a rock and RIPPED my toenail right off! Blood everywhere! I reached out to the company, explained what happened and asked for a discount on a different style of shoe but no one ever answered me :(

These are best for runners of athletes post workout or post game recovery slide. These are not for casuals, maybe for comfort but releasing the prssure from heel and forefoot is is just sweet.

  • @rustyx
    @rustyx Рік тому +2

I’ve had these for purely indoor wear for the last 3 years and they have been great. Insanely comfortable! But the outsole is definitely wearing down and the overall cushion is flattening out over the years. So I think that it would NOT last long as an outdoor slide

  • @christinamartinez8132

I wish they made slip resistant shoes. I have a pair of Oofos but I don't know if they were made in Vietnam or China. These are cozy but I have slipped plenty of times, one time I was watering my grass and my right foot slid outwards and I sprained my toe. That hurt bad qnd it was purple for awhile. You can feel every rock and gravel if wearing these outside.

  • @joshuahperez3117

    I agree with the outsole.
My dad has a pair of these he actually loves them, he also has very narrow feet and doesnt feel anything i feel with wide feet.
i told him it was extremely unstable, i can feel every outsole piece on the bottom. overall the foam is amazing the overall design is flawed imo.

i have the sport version of these with the velcro strap & they’re my favorite (compared to other slides i have: hoka 3, croc echo, adidas, nike) to wear around the house on laminate flooring. normally wear size 10 adidas/nike but 9 in oofos fits me well, any bigger and i might run into the stability issues you’re describing

I have the absolute opposite problem I have a super narrow foot . I’m a 61 year old lady and have had 3 ankle surgery’s . I have bought at least 5 pairs I’ve had to return because there just to wide! Since you have so many shoes I thought maybe you had some suggestions?? I have the oofo Velcro slide and it’s maxed out and still not tight enough.. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and the best shoe I have found so far is the cheapest cozy slides with a Birkenstock type look.. my Birkenstocks killed me❤️‍🩹I swear I’m just frustrated at this point . With winter coming I have zero idea what I’m going to wear in the rain and snow 🤷🏻‍♀️I’ve heard Merrell makes a good shoe 🙏🏼any suggestions are absolutely appreciated! Thank you!
