We went toTivoli this summer... It is an awesome park, you can easily spend a whole day in there... It's well worth the money. Thank you for the video, it almost feels like being back there :)
Great video Jamie! I went on a winter's evening between Christmas and New Year but didn't do any rides . Looking forward to visiting again in September.
This is so classy, I like the look of it better than the Disney places. So much less.... Plasticy, if you know what I mean. I would love to visit there.
Loved Tivoli gardens just didn’t get to spend enough time in there, though I chickened out of every ride, and the missus wanted to do every ride in there, love to go back there though, we also went in the cafe with the delicious confectionery on display.
@@TravelBlogJamie you can’t on an organised trip where you go to other places first, hopefully there will be a next time, when we will do our own thing.
Thanks for the awesome park review Jamie - we were in Copenhagen on a Koningsdam cruise 4 years ago and got off the ship super excited about Tivoli only to get there and find it was shut! 😭 Great tip about pre-booking tickets- maybe if we'd done that we would have realised it wasn't open and saved ourselves the disappointment 😀
@@TravelBlogJamie there were bus loads of school children lining up outside but we couldn't get tickets, so we figured there was an event of some sort 🤷♂️🤷♀️ Oh well, a great excuse to go back to Copenhagen 🤩
Hi Jamie, we're in Copenhagen this summer and really want to visit Tivoli. Is it within easy walking distance from the dock? I've just downloaded the App, does Andy need to download it too for us to pre-order tickets or can I buy for both of us on my App? Also, does it get very booked up or would I be able to get them on the App the morning we're there, in case Aurora can't dock? Last question, are the queues generally very long? If we're limited to just a couple of rides due to time, wondering if it would be better to pay just entry and individual rides. Looks like you got the unlimited rides pass, did you get on everything you wanted? Sorry for so many stupid, old person questions 😂😂😂
Yes you can walk to Tivoli if docked centrally (about 30 mins, much of it is scenic). If you are docked out of town a shuttle drops you very centrally and only a 10 min walk. We bought tickets online in the morning and just showed email from memory. Lines not that bad - most no more than 20 mins max on our visit and some were walk on. We did pretty much everything. I’d recommend getting there for opening though. Definitely was worth the ultimate ticket!
They close the rides 2-3 hours early. It made me mad considering this was one of the only things I liked about Copenhagen. I still hope someday to come back though.. otherwise I loved this park and would recommend it to anyone. Came here august 2022.
What were the queues like fir the rides? Experience in UK parks can be up to an hour, so with limited time (we’re doing the same cruise you did), spending hours queuing doesn’t appeal to me :-)
You MUST explore this fantastic amusement park with me! Have you ever visited Tivoli? It's even more beautiful at Christmas!
This from an 80 year old man from Orlando, Fl. My grandparents took a vacation to Trivoli gardens when they were in their late 60’s. They were amazed
It’s certainly very unique!
Can't wait to be at Tivoli in two weeks with my year pass. I'll be the one rocking back and forth with excitement like a mad thing.
Have fun rocking! lol

It’s a wonderful park (and especially at Christmas 🎄)
Brilliant blog Jamie, so informative, and so well done. Perfect for us as we will be there in April on Viking Oceans. Thanks!
Thanks Brendan and hope you have a great visit!
As a theme park enthusiast this is on my bucket list - it looks such a beautiful park x thanks so much for sharing - we enjoyed watching x
Thank you - hope you get to visit some time ❤️
Great job! Thank you!
Very welcome 🙏

Ha! I think I know what you mean 😂 It’s a great park although I prefer my Disney parks by a mile
this was awesome ... ty for including menu prices
You are very welcome 🙏

Could always spend longer at Tivoli ❤️

@@TravelBlogJamie that is very true 😍🤩
The Sausage Muncher’s eyes are popping out at all the food 😂
I see a lot of myself in that boy
Never thought I’d hear you say “I don’t like this” on a fairground ride 🤣
I actually don’t like heights when there’s nothing underneath me 😂😂😂
What was the exchange rate for Denmark Krone Jamie Please? This looks like an exciting and relaxing theme park.. thank you for sharing
Hi Jackie - I put the exchange rate in the vid for pound sterling, dollars, and euros. You must have missed it?
What was the attraction with the torches/shooting things?
Just a shoot em up ride with scores at the end

@@emmaludlow8173 if you’ve never been, Tivoli is a treat! By the way, we didn’t download an app for our day (not sure why, just didn’t need it)

are the attractions really worth it, or should i just get the garden ticket?
I think you can get a good idea from the vlog if you like the look of the rides? I wouldn’t go just for the gardens

Get there first thing to avoid worst of queues. Our longest wait was about 20 mins. Many were almost walk on.
@@TravelBlogJamie Thavk you :-) we are just watching your food review of Sky - loving it!
@@adam1gale you’re welcome! Of the food blog! Hope you’re hungry 😂😂😂
A little tip: Tivoli looks great when it starts getting dark because of all the illuminations.
Yes, vlogged a night there previously
Boa tarde, vim aqui dizer que só o amor de Deus pode preencher nosso vazio. Só falem com Ele
I don’t have emptiness. Perhaps projecting a bit too much here.
Pro tip: hit Christiana freetown first
I would have to disagree with that. 2 totally different experiences.
