Ya know, its almost to the point where it doesn't matter what he sings, just as long as he does. He's incredible. Best rock vocalist of all time. Now 74 years old, survived a major stroke. Still gonna do it.
I hear you,, born 3/1/64 growing up with seventies radio, all so good, whether it was rock, blues, the motown sound, reggae, and Bob marley, starting to peek, our ears were spoiled with such music, compared to today's poo,poo ! 💩
I remember being on my paper route at 15, and a guy up the street was playing this on his 8-track in his car. I HAD to know what band it was, and stooped into his convertible to get a look at the cartridge label. Immediately went out and bought the album. What a phenomenal band and album.

@@Caveat952 Now I get it. I grew up on Mott and Bad Co. Bad Co still, inexplicably, not in the zero-credibility Hall of Fame. "Shooting Star" of course is the cautionary tale about Paul Kossoff. Simon Kirke said that that song put all four of his kids through college, and then some, needless to say.
Natural god gifted rocker! Can't say enough about this man. Truly talented since his teens and still rockin hard. Just love his voice and constant give all heart and soul in his performing.
Bad Company was my 1st concert I that I went to back in 1976 Mobile Alabama when I was 15 yrs old. I knew it was gonna be good but was completely overwhelmed how professional straight to the point their performance was. You just can't ever take away great memories.
I saw Paul Rodgers for the first time back in 1979. The desolation Angels Tour. first of all after watching many of my personal favorite bands from the UK perform here live in the States. I could'nt believe how reserved and calm and relaxed Paul Rodgers was not flamboyant and trying to heighten the performance by being to flashy. Just a man singing from his soul . What a singer.
I've got many favourite songs by Bad Co, but this has to be the very top of my list, luved it back in 70's when 'Straight Shooter' was released and its has a place in my heart ever since, its truly rocking n what British rock is all about, ❤
Paul Rodgers is more than a great vocalist and Frontman. He is a muti-talented musician and an awesome songwriter No one like him ever again Rock yourself silly!!!!
Have always loved BadCo, particularly early. They sort of lost their way in the late 90s, but since they reformed in 2008 with the lineup that includes Howard Leese, they've continued to perform at an extremely high level. Some of their latest shows are even stronger than the 4-piece band ones.
My comment is from 11 seconds from now. And they kick more ass now. Experience and dedication, and foregoing burning out early on dope and other toxic combinations..!!
I never failed to sing along everytime Paul came on youtube. His singing style is just addictive..I will say in almost every song from All Right Now to Burnin' Sky
obiviously an ANGEL came to his door. ......with his power and range and just pure badassism 1000 people blessed with his voice 999 would be dead by 27. and paul would be well PAUL RODGERS. only 1 left
Very impressive, Paul Rodgers was freaking pumped and looked it too, plus an extra guitarist. Good show and the mike stand toss at the end, Wow. Reminded me of the Who when they play Summertime blues and Roger Daltry keeps swinging the mike and toss it up in the air and pull the wire to bring it back and catch it, freaking hot.
I have been searching for this song for years. I heard it just one time on an album, but didn't know what it was called. I'm so pleased to hear it again.❤❤❤
Damn does that bring back memories I remember the first and second album actually all of them but yeah that was some rock after the band free broke up bad company still kicking ass keep it coming boys.
Paul Rodgers is a living miracle and I have been listening to the music of my favorite male artist vocalist for a very long time! My first concert was bad company! "Deal With The Preacher" Let's Rock baby! I need love, the kind I've never known before. You need it too, the kind that makes you feel secure, I want to give you, give you all the love you need. But I'm lonely baby, and that's the way I'll always be, hey As the sun climbs across the sky above, So your smile, filled me with a stronger love, Just you and I baby, watchin' the morning sky yeah, Somehow I know, it's time for me to say goodbye. Here's why: I can't make a deal with the preacher, oh Lord help us And I can't make a bargain with heaven, Angel, you came to my window, Angel, you came to my door. I was a fool when I let you in; I sure ain't no fool anymore! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, As the sun climbs across the sky above, So your smile filled me with a stronger love. What a performance! I think Lynn Sorrenson's superb bass playing makes BC sound better than ever. Yet from what I've read he was almost plucked from the Seattle pub scene and may have ended up back there. Shame this line up didn't stay together longer. Paul Rodgers has an incredible voice for rock! In this track, I think Mick Ralphs would admit he has played a lot better solos in the past. This is still one of my all time favourite rock videos though.
If you haven 't seen these guys in concert, go see them. They opened for Joe Walsh a couple of months ago out here in L.A. Bad Company rocked the crap out of the Forum. I was expecting average. A+ performers with great energy.
Saw them in West Palm Beach in May with Joe Walsh. Walsh was great as always BUT Bad Co. well they had the whole place eating out of their hands!!!!! What a show!!!!! No Mick that night but they has Rich Robinson from the Black Crows with Howard Leese!!!!! Only issue I had was I bought a Bad Co. Tee shirt and it is sooooo cheap it fell apart at the stitching!!!!!
RRHOF should be ashamed for not recognizing Paul Rodgers. Goes to show how out of touch they are when it comes to GOOD MUSIC AND TRULY TALENTED MUSICIANS!!
Paul have got a darker voice with time, but darn the guy can sing! where other bands lower the tone of their songs Paul just sing his songs in the same original tone, thats impressive!
I remember reading an article where Rod Stewart said Paul Rodgers was the only guy he never wanted to have to follow. He's definitely the best, unless you want to include Otis Redding in the mix.
Rod also was in the vein of Steve Marriott. He got everyone excited about being a singer. Paul takes it to another level and hasn't lost a beat all of these years.
Ya know, its almost to the point where it doesn't matter what he sings, just as long as he does. He's incredible. Best rock vocalist of all time. Now 74 years old, survived a major stroke. Still gonna do it.
This is Paul Rodgers at his best. The Voice is phenomenal. The ultimate front man to me.
Indeed
Let me see a trend gender's saying like that
There are a handful just as good…but none better. 👍
Best rock vocalist ever.
I have always loved Simon Kirke's playing.
Born in 1964 and just think of all the musicians that was played through the 70s and 80s and the music they play now it's sad

Paul at his best. Band is hitting on all cylinders. Classic Mick Ralphs understated “barely there” smokin’ solo.
So bad ass, music will never be this good again
Top vocalist for 50+ years ... by a mile !
Greatest stand at the mic!!!
No one delivers like the GOAT.

I love the deep roar of those Marshall's and Gibsons, I can feel it in my bones.
Paul Rodgers - best voice in the business. Bar none.

Nice to not see tattoos covering both arms and the neck.
Paul and Robert Plant share the best of the bestest singers of all time for me!!!

Rodgers is simply a beast. Tremendous voice. Even better than the 70's version.
My first favorite band... still love these guys... straight forward rock n roll!
This song is an obscure "Kick-Ass" rocker by BadCo!! Paul kills it vocally...
This was the best version of Bad. Co since the original line up. RIP Boz………..
Best rock vocalist in the biz. The guy is a freak of nature.
Man but Paul Rodgers sounds just as good as I remember he did in the 70s!
If this was a vinyl track I would have worn it to dust by now. Fantastic song and immense performance from Paul Rodgers and Co. !
I’ve seen Bad Co. with Mick, and without, and to me, there’s no comparison. These guys are just great together. RIP Boz.
Prefer box and mick there
Boz and mick paul and simon yes
Yes boz and mick get in there
Best voice in the business right now. We have lost so many of the best vocalists the last few years. Wish he could live forever.
Linda S
Indeed. Greg Lake had a great voice as did Ben Orr.
@@ricklewis5804 OMG. Ben Orr was the shit. Love that mans voice and attitude.
I'd include Lou Gramm
