This is fire, just dripping with soul throughout. As a huge fan of his battle themes for kuro 1 and 2, with the regular battle theme from kuro 1 still being my favorite work of his, I was not let down by this!
Was not really feeling it, but it grew on me, the chorus is very nice. The bass is crazy detailed and the piano is practically a signature on his battle themes. Love the clean guitar in the verses.
I really like the track, though part of me wishes that around the 0:49 mark there could have been an even grander explosive chorus… I’m not that well versed in how to explain it in musical terms, but if this was in a different franchise, the song would of been even more bombastic after hitting its apex I feel, really throwing some guitars into the mix, making it more profound. It still delivers greatly don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have this track over the Daybreak normal battle theme, and even hear parts of that theme in it, but it makes me more excited to potentially hear remixes, or if they decided to be super bold, a super arrange or even bolder, a Zamnai version of it. Man I wish tracks still had multiple versions of them…. TLDR: Song good, could have been more explosive to contrast the field version more, but still a great song nonetheless.
Great melody and instrumentation, but really lacks oomph. Many instruments aren't loud enough. I swear this is a problem so many of the compositions have now, they just have poor mixing

Slept on this one, a quite enjoyable listen. Doesn't stand out much from the rest of his library but still an overall great song.

I really love the chorus and the intro though i prefer the Kuro 2 battle theme.
Regardless, this is a very good piece by Koguchi.

Sounds more like an elevator music rather than a combat theme. Koguchi is not suited for combat music.
