This is a fantastic video, Miles! I like the fact that you made the left-handed device suggestion to the manufacturer because sometimes these very important marketing decisions get lost in the sauce for a manufacturer fixed on a product launch date. The comparison you did- the "with" and the "without"- is a very effective illustration, while being fun to watch and listen to!

Great demo! Seems like they oughtta make one that goes all the way up to the 22nd or 24th fret area. I guess they’d need to take scale length into account, which could mean making several different models available. I could definitely see them taking it in that direction. Step one probably is getting rid of that curve at the end.

So fun fact one of the guitars they listed on here is a Line 6 JTV59 that is compatible. I've been playing a 59 as my main player for a very long time until recently when I was able to get a hold of a JTV69 that just feels right to me. That being said knowing this will fit my 59 opens literally endless possabilities! And heck since I am blind anyway and play by muscle memory and have been looking for this kind of exact solution to start playing fretless I'm beyond excited now. Time to annoy literally every musician in existence!!!!

The Flatter looks cool, but there is a serious problem that is not discussed-both for Fender, Gibson, and PRS models. When applying the Flatter, the strings clatter, and due to the height of the Flatter, you no longer have any sound. The only option is to raise everything on the saddle. Someone may have another solution. It's a shame they didn't discuss this problem.

That problem gets addressed mostly with the included nut on the flatter. If you are getting significant clatter with it on still, you have your action set super duper low

Seems like a cool gadget. I just wish it extended to the entire fretboard rather than cutting it off at 12.

Agreed! It’s said to be modeled for a Les Paul style neck, but even still it gets to the 14th fret at its farthest.
