Wranglerstar seems like a knife that is at the right quality to pricepoint to toss in as a backup in any of your prepared gear bags since for the price of a normal secondary knife you can buy a dozen and if you break one or lose one you aren't out much from a financial perspective. Honestly have seen worse knives at much higher pricepoints.

It's basically impossible to put a different ring in it and the material is so thin there that it eventually wears through. Mine wore through and fell off, but luckily when it finally came off, it just thumped onto the floor in my kitchen and wasn't lost.

My favorite affordable edc is the Kershaw leek, USA made, you’re choice of handle (aluminum, steel, carbon fiber etc) at about 40-100 dollars depending on the materials. The leek was designed be a chef, (Ken onion) in collaboration with kershaw, it holds an edge, in the years I’ve had mine the blade has not chipped, rolled, now has it loosened at all. There is no play in it whatsoever. It’s slim, light, affordable, and high quality. I adore it.

My favorite cheap knife is still the Brucks Dynasty. Unfortunately they
are no longer offered by anyone on Amazon, but I bought 1 for $10 and
two for $11.50 a few years ago. Cheap enough that I don't mind if I drop
one while working outside or it gets "borrowed" indefinitely, but
haven't lost any of them yet. The edge can use a touch up every couple
of weeks with moderate use, every week when in heavy use like the start
of trout season or over the holidays when I switch to wood heat while
    guests are over.

Swiss soldier here. The reason for the lock on the Victorinox going to the right is because of swiss military training. The first thing we learned when gerting our rifles was to never take our strong hand, the right for most off our rifles. That means if you had to use your knife to cut something while opperating or holding your rifle youd use the knife lefthanded and bacause you have to be able to close it onehanded the knife is somewhat of a lefthanded knife.

Great video, very fair assessment and logical criticism. Thanks for keeping the sarcastic remarks to a minimum on this one and portraying the product for what it is.

All I needed to hear was that you took points for tip down carry I was like this guy knows what a guy is looking for! Tip up always ... I don't want to pull out my knife just to flip it over again. js

The seat belt cutter is actually pretty beneficial to use with string or paracord ...

I'd you open it whole bunch of times it tears its self àpart. I had one for two dollars from a pawn shop thinking I could go wrong, opened it about 50 times and the screw holding the blade became lose. I could not fix it. The blade started opening too far. Then the blade broke off the handle. Being the McGyver I am, I made it a shank😀

You got a $2 knife to open and close 49 times without incident? You got your moneys worth 🤣

Please reply!!! I bought this knife today and it it decently hard to open with the flipper and because of this it hurts my finger whenever I open it. How can I open this knife without hurting my pointer finger?

Biggest takeaway from this is I can wrist flip my 940 open.

I've been looking for a cheap knife of decent quality to carry in my bunker pants and seems like this fits the bill, and if I lose it it won't break my heart. Although I'll probably never use the seat belt cutter or the glass breaker, from my experience the glass breaker doesn't work, much rather just use my window punch.

The Swiss seem to make a lot of left handed stuff. They had some interesting left handed or "ambidextrous" rifles too.

Can you do a quick review of that Keyshawn knife tool, please.
