Aynone still doing this, --v 4 doesn't work with this, you need to roll back to Version 3. Ending prompts: --v 3 --video

how do you create a thumbnail for a youtube video in midjourney? like the one you created for your video make money AI ART & MIDJOURNEY? I got hours trying to figure it out, or if make a video for that ,would be awesome ,
I made the image in midjourney, of the monkey etc but then imported it into photoshop to do the layout (add text etc). If you do t ha e photosbop you can try canva or pixlr, just create a 1920x1080px image
question... can you not just go back to an upscaled single image and add the envelope? Or does it have to happen on that initial prompt vs version or upscale? Wonder why?
At this stage it has to be the initial generation before any upscaling.

I'm trying to combine this --creative command with the --seed command but keep getting errors. maybe because my seed was from a V4 prompt
Could be, im not sure how seed is structured from one algorithm to the next unfortunately.
Any idea how to get an existing video but make images over it to basically cartoonist the existing video?
Would you have to just cut it into 1000 frames to edit each one? How do you keep it consistent?
Good question, unfortunately I just don't know how yet. There are some video AI platforms out there, I wouldn't know where to start. Runway has some good features but not sure about that specifically.
hello dear friend when i click envelope it doesnt convert le file into a video, would you know why ?
This feature onlymworks when seitching to version1, 2 or 3 / teat or testp under /settings. Version 4 or 5 wont do this but this video was made before they were released.

That's really odd. Maybe it's playing up. Is this the image grid or the upscale? It used to only work on teh grid, but I know the image itself can be more difficult

How do you make videos longer? The most I've gotten is 34 seconds, but I have since been unable to replicate the results. I only get 5-10 seconds now.
I dont beleive theres a control for length. However, ive noticed the first generation, pre upscale, is longer, maybe try that with --q 5 to see if it goes longer
Hello. I can't create a video, I do everything as you demonstrate, I write --video, but when I search for an envelope smiley, it only adds a smiley at the bottom of my picture. no video link. I have a paid standard plan of $10 per month. help find a solution
Did you go to /settings and switch to version 3 or the test algorithm? It wo t work with version 4 (current default)

You cant use version 4 unfortunately. Head to /settings you can choose versions 1-3 or the test models and it should work
Bro each time I put that prompt code --video --v 3 everytime the images turn into some abstraction of the forms totally distant to the idea, then i remove that prompt and the idea was more figurative absolutely! That was my experience!

Did you put it in test or version 3 ubder /settings? Alsi it inly works in the very first render of imaes (no upscales) are you doing it during that first result of images (or image if following the video with --test?)
How do you do one video now with version 5.2?
Same process, except it only does the full grid. You can crop the video online though: www.adobe.com/express/feature/video/crop
I didn't get a video by clicking envelope, only Job ID and seed number
did you add --video? Also did you do it to the grid of 4 images? it only works with the grid and not the upscaled image.
I can't, when I click on the envelope, nothing happens, only the icon comes out at the bottom, what could I have done wrong, can you tell me the setting parameters, I've been trying to do it all day, I went crazy with version 4, which I then discovered doesn't work, maybe you should also write what you did in a message, anyway I really thank you.
I added the --video to the prompt, then when the initial rebder appears (before upscales, it doesnt work) respond to that discord message with the blank envelope - it then shows the video. Hope that makes sense and works for you :)

the images im getting with --test --creative arent as good as the prompts used nornmally without those tags
idk if im doing something wrong or what but i dont like the end results with this method.
these days test and testp aren't as good at producing qualtiy images as Version 4 or 5, as the test models were realsed after 3, but before 4.

This video was made before version 4 was made default, unfortunately this feature isn't compatible with it. If you go to /settings, you can use it on Versions 1 - 3 or the test models

Oh thats weird, ive never e countered it before. Maybe give it time and try again as sometimes the bot has temporary issues. Otherwise i dont have any info sorry, no idea what to do there :(

@@WadeMcMaster I saw they are going to allow -AR soon but they didn’t say exactly when, that’s when I feel it will really open the doors to more creativity… until then I’m still using V3 but V4 is still blowing my mind on how close they’ve gotten hands and eyes

@@aayushthomas I did the whole process Wade McMaster shared and since I wasn't receiving anything on the chat box I clicked on the top icon of the left side where it says "direct messages" and I found all the videos and the links there🤓
@@IriaMarina Yep...this worked for me too. The links are in the 'direct messages' section as described but from the 'Midjourney Bot'. The videos won't play from there, but if you click on the link they open in another browser tab and then run. The two I've just generated are 15 seconds long. I'm going to try and play around with this as I want to create videos to go along with the ambient music I'm producing. 🙂

That sucks. Did you change to version 3 or test (type /sertings) ? It currently doesnt work with the default model
How do i save the link
On conputer you should be able to right click and save link as. On phone you can open the link then there should be somewhere you can click and download the video (android its bottom right 3 dots)

(Envelop react is not required for this to work)

Are younusing v 5? Also it only renders a video of the grid of 4 images unless you use --test instead, and change the aspect ratio. Is it one of those things?

It does, but but not with --niji or the current default version 4. I'd go to /settings and choose version 3 or earlier o one of the test models!

@@WadeMcMaster Thanks for getting back to me. I found the videos but they were progress videos. I am looking for something where I can tell ai to iterate a certain number of frames and create an image from descriptors. I know there must be such a thing.
@@WadeMcMaster I also have to tell it version 3. Version 4 doesn't appear to do even the progress videos. Most of the tools do explainer type videos. I'm looking for a more cinematic video style with evocative video renders I create with ai. It just seems with all the advancement, such a thing has to exist.
Yeah, i dont think midjourney offers much else unfortunately. I think youd need to create 2 or more points in midjourney and find another platform (notnsure which or how) to create blends between them. I might look into this myself

haha, yeah there's a bit to go through. You should get a search bar above the emojis when you go to react - type in 'envelope'.

I've tried this 6 times, step by step and it's not working
It does still work. You can only upscale the image grid (not individual images) when using v5.2 (the default). Test or tests may not work anymore

I'm about to try it using your exact same prompts and update you on what happens. I'm using a MacBook M1
I'm not sure why but I'm using your exact same prompts and when I hit the envelope to get the link, it shows up as a reaction only. No video link is generated.
Thats odd mate, if you go to the same menu, head to apps, try DM results...?

I'm not sure about the music itself, there are some cool Ai Music platforms out there. But otherwise, there are soem free animation platforms around, you can add effects in capcut to your images and overlay videos from places like Pexels.com to get some cool effects too
