    Great job making these dogs good canine citizens with the right tools. Any thumbs down must be from the positive crowd who think Snausages are the best tool to train.

    I watch so many people on UA-cam talking about training dog, so many of them put me to sleep. You on the other hand are quite entertaining thank you

    I basically had the same reaction when I felt an Ecollar for the first time. It's like tickling at the lower levels. At the higher levels, it's the perfect aversive. It does no physical harm and it turns on and off almost instantly. An amazing tool.

    Wow! Big difference! Having the owners return demonstrate at their home was a perfect example of how to follow through. Well done.

    What a great video, demonstrating the e-collar on the owners and yourself. Glad the guy didn't get you hit by a truck :-) "Cujo" definitely has been reformed, and now can enjoy that "smooth sailing".

    The owners face when the e collar was on the trainers arm at level 35 when the owner couldn’t go higher than 16

    I like how you show the owners the ecollar on you. I’ve put my dogs ecollar on and realized it’s malfunctioning. Ecollar technologies is an excellent company with great customer service and replaced my malfunctioning mini educator. (It was too weak).

    Tested out my E-collar the other day. I think 7 was where I felt it and it basically just felt like a fly landed on me.

    That dog must have very high drive or get distracted easily on a 35. My dog stays on a 6 and the highest I’ve gone was 15. Super impressed with the training of a dog at a 35.

    That's because there's a difference between E-collar and shock collar. And they showed that perfectly. Shock collar is an instant WHAM!!! And an E-collar is a tens unit or stimulation

    • @rjlovell1
      @rjlovell1 Місяць тому +2

      Actually, there isn’t a difference. An e-collar and a ‘shock’ collar is the same. ‘Shock’ collar was used decades ago and it was a misnomer and had too many negative connotations to it. Rebranding and marketing and proper use has really helped. It’s a great tool.

    Love your videos! I watched your video with the Aussie that was fearful and barking on the leash and watched the one where it was a aggressive German shepherd
    How can you tell if your dog is aggressive on leash or just scared ? Thanks!!

    My dog Bruce is about six months. I have the same issue with my dog Bruce. When I put him on the leash he puts hard and I'm not a big woman I'm small. I am gonna learn the technique starting today.

      Learning on your own would be a big mistake you have to get a good e collar trainer and unfortunately there are not that many real good e collar trainers…..

    I have a Compex muscle stimulus computer that I use for my legs. Same concept. If I could handle the pain I could completely contract my quads but it hurts and two days later? Usually sore.

    Have you done videos on collar dogs should be wearing daily. We use a harness on the female, because she chokes herself pulling with a regular collar. Something happens with the harness, stops pulling (not completely).

  • @melissa5907
    @melissa5907 7 місяців тому +1

    Loving your videos, but please don’t tell people to throw harnesses away though! 🥺
    They serve an important purpose… in the car! Most people can’t fit a crate in their vehicles. Getting a seatbelt tether and hooking it up to the back of harness keeps pup safe in accidents. Never hook them up by their collar, it will break their necks.
    Please start telling people in your videos! 😫

    A quality ecollar such as the one you have at a 16 should max at a 16. It should not be “elevating” to a 20.
    It’s just tapping vs continuous.

  • @anf2029

    Why come you test the shock collar on your arm and not neck?

    • @AmericanStandardK9
      @AmericanStandardK9  3 роки тому +19

      I have a video coming very soon where I put it on my neck on super high levels so don't you worry about that. It's coming very soon just for you. First off, out of convenience. I do these private trainings with ecollars several times a month if not several times a week. I have two arms only one neck. Easier to slip on and off on my arm and not always to get these collars over my big fat head and onto my neck. Plus the owners are going to make major mistakes and use bad timing and wrong levels etc.. I would rather the mistake on my arm and not my neck for obvious reasons. It feels exactly the same on the neck as it does on the arm so there is no argument there. But hey, how about you? When was the last time you put an ecollar on yourself anywhere?

    • @lillieberger2883
      @lillieberger2883 2 роки тому +6

      A human neck is much more sensitive than a dogs btw. But I’ve also put it on mine.

    Getting a tattoo... Sounds like ecollars are great for animals. Guy is clearly uncomfortable the other guys arm is twitching, such a joke training like this.

    • @Shawnoob
      @Shawnoob Рік тому +1

      That's high level, and it's not a joke, it's a great tool for dogs who do not listen and can get themselves killed by trying constantly to go in the road

      @c1gar Рік тому

      @@Shawnoobits so high 'level' to train using pain. Wish I could train that well....they are banned in the EU and UK for a reason.
