In the higher rev ranges that parallel twin sounds like the old 4-cyl 16 valve DTM engines from the eighties. Great induction sounds. Love it!
Dyno'd my bike with your all's tune on it. Realistically yes it can be big gains. Seems the tune has some dips in it, may or may not be related to to the aftermarket stuff I have. We dyno'd it at 9am in 70% humidity on a grade, made 99.5bhp &, if I recall, 63 or 68 FT lbs of torque. These were Crank Power readings.
Over the last 4k miles though, I cant complain, lined up next to a stock 700 Sport, it smacks just about every bike I ride with. It definitely put a few untuned 700s in their box LOL. The throttle twitch is gone, and the low end torque feels like it moved up the power band a few 1k RPMs
I spent about ...$200 back in December of 2023. Worth it? Sure, if you want to remap and get your bike running a tad better. In reality, this bike could do wel with a visit to the MSC shop to fine tune it for the mods ON the bike....or visit a local Dyno guy you trust to do it.
Issue with tuning these bike is you need 10 different things to do it.
Your welcome to check out the video I did on it, all in all I've been told by a few dyno techs, the tune COULD be better and this bike CAN make much more power if it was so sticky up here in Kentucky.
To add, like they said at 5:38, there are many factors at play when tuning...and you cant account for all of them.

Hopefully you will be doing a tune file for aftermarket exhausts with the cat removed. Great stuff here keep it up I know a lot of other clx owners like myself have been wanting this so bad.

I didn't think there would be a difference between the Heritage and Sport versions with the default settings. I thought the only difference was in the clipons and Brembo brakes. Thanks a lot for the stock graphics! I am from Russia and we have only Heritage version for now, as soon as Sport will appear I will take it. Ps. Before that I rode a Honda cb-400.

I have a fire torch aftermarket exhaust with original headers. I’ve noticed the bike running lean and the throttle roll on not as smooth. I’m hoping to get a tune for it soon.

I like this bike. I may want one. CF Moto didn't copy anyone with this bike. I hope they do more of this original styled bikes. I don't like the fenders but I'd pull them off anyway.

I love the CFMoto bikes. I have driven all of them, and personally own a 700 CL-X. It has exceeded my expectations and the only complaint is capacity of the gas tank. If you're thinking about a 700, do it. The torque is good, handling is good, brakes are good, and having cruise control is freaking awesome. I even think the sound with stock muffler is just right.

@@mattmccauley5561 I go about 125 miles before filling up because fuel gauge isn't super accurate.
Where can I go to do this for my bike?
Does this tune sort out the dead spot between 3k and 4k rpm? Does it fix the on/off throttle transition from being so jerky?

More horse power less MPG., If you are going to use this bike for long distances don't need the tune unless you put an aftermarket pipe.
That thing is slow as hell for a 700. I definitely expected a lot more out of these
Bullshit numbers, subtract 30% and you are closer to true HP .
Single gear runs are not accurate, especially on a cheap dyno.

I personally worked in a performance shop that regularly saw 1000+ hp cars on our 4wd dyno. This looks to be a quality dyno, and these guys 100% know what they're doing when it comes to tuning. Go watch their other videos and judge for yourself instead of trolling.
Also, it makes virtually no difference to tune through every gear over a single gear run. If you know your trans gearing, it's just math homie it's not that hard lmao
