Glad to see you back Dan! Thanks for the review as I've often wondered if the kids detectors are any good and that one looks spot on. I know it's a lot of extra messing around but next time you do a review like this or the pin pointer you should plant a couple of coins outside the van so we can see how it responds with a bit of dirt and rain in the way.

Good review thanks! Thinking of getting a cheap but decent detector for my daughter so she can come out to the beach with me. Don't want to spend a lot as she'll probably get bored VERY quickly, as 16 year olds do lol. Great tip about planting coins ;) Thanks xx
That was great. Perfect review and explanation. I think this would be great for the age group 3-10 in my opinion. It really depends when you start your child. If you start them very young 4 or 5 then by time they are 11 and they enjoy the hobby then they will be ready for a more advanced machine. Plastic shovel is meant for sand, wood chips, etc. Small kids are not good at digging in soil anyways. It is the perfect tool to teach them the ethics of how to recover a target and fill in a hole and get them involved.
