I agree that sometimes audiobooks can ruin your experience. Example: My favorite book in the last 20 years (until recently) was SHE’S COME UNDONE by Walley Lamb. I tried rereading it via audiobook this time and quickly DNF’ed the audiobook. When you have an image in your head of how a narrator sounds, anything else is rubbish. It pains me that those who can only read it via audio may not have a good experience with a spectacular story.
liz.in.vividcolor I definitely feel that way about a ton of audiobooks I’ve listened to! Ninth House is totally the most notable so I really wanna give it a fair short and try it again!
Sometimes it’s the opposite and the audiobooks end up making me love a book more 😄
How do u have the concentration to read all of those I can barely get through a 50 page book without getting distracted
Haha there are definitely some books that can’t keep my attention but I try not to keep ones that I don’t like! So finding great books helps 😄
I was about to comment how much I love y our Chip and Dale...then one fell 🥺
Poor little guy 🥺🤕
@@JessieMaeBooks I hope he wasn't too badly damaged by his little tumble.
Tea 'n' Lit I got him a little ice pack for the bump on his head 😂
😂
This really doesn't matter at all, so I almost feel bad pointing it out, but for the sake of the order of the shelf (in case you haven't noticed since uploading the video) Mistborn Era 2 is in the wrong order.
Yes! I have since fixed it! 😄 Thank you!
Hi Jessie, beautiful bookshelf!! Compliments, I like it. ;-) Bye
I searched Amazon & Alibris and found Red Sister in Hardcover, there’s about $40 though 😕
Thank you so much for letting me know that you found them though! So kind of you!
Jessie Mae you’re welcome! I’m the same way with wanting hardcovers over paperbacks. Especially if they’re a favorite
Question!: why is Brisingr (in the Inheritance series) placed after the last book? It’s the third, so just wondering 🤔
Lydia Malek omg I didn’t even notice haha I need to fix that ASAP 🤣
Jessie Mae cool!! Was just wondering if it was to do with colour coding the books or not! 😁
You need to read leviathan wakes ASAP GIIRRRRLLLLLLL
Ryan Wolf ahh I know!! Definitely getting to it soon! 🥳
Jessie Mae I’m reading it right now... and I’m sucked in..
Hi! New sub here *waves* Love your shelves, we have similar interests! Could you tell me which edition/version are your Sailor Moon mangas? I just got into the show and am looking to get the manga for it. Thanks!
Thank you so much! Glad you’re here! They are the eternal editions 😄❤️
@@JessieMaeBooks Thanks!
Wow
I absolutely loved this style of bookshelf tour!
I ended up buying 5 different books in the course of watching this video.... -.-~ Apparently I share your tastes in reading.
Ahh love that! Hope you end up loving all of them you bought!
Why have I not seen this sooner? Why did my phone not show me this? Traitorous phone 🤔
Haha I had so much trouble uploading it this morning because of the intro music 😫 I got a copyright issue so it might’ve just been because of that!
