- First Minister Humza Yousaf says he will consider a major review commissioned in England which assessed gender treatments for children.
Dr Hilary Cass's report concluded there was "remarkably weak evidence" on medical interventions in gender care and made 32 recommendations.

Kind of. But it was much more the case that it was policy, and clinicians were following outdated guidelines. Clinicians need to be using up to date information if we are going to rely on them making life changing decisions.

Based on available data the use of blockers in adolescence correlates with reduced risk of mental illness in adulthood.
There’s clearly a benefit to using them, but they shouldn’t be handed out like sweets.

Well if tax payers are paying for treatments that are being questioned right across the world and have very serious ethical issues which have been questioned by the very clinic prescribing them . YES it is politicians job .
Sadly the results so far have been widely seen in the US and it doesn't look good. Removing healthy body parts as an eventuality of purity blockers is societies business. Not just a small but powerful organisation that's frankly lost its way .
