Baljeet sir,i have heard these stories since my childhood from my father.we stayed in shell colony and tilak nagar. I have used that bridge between shell colony and tilak nagar in 80s.even my father and uncle would not cross that bridge into tilak nagar due to fear.you brought back old time memories.there are still more stories about chota rajan gang.

Vijay Sawant completed his jail term of 9-10 years or so & after his release he had normal life for some time & then died with heart attack.

Everything that you have said is true but you have missed on one important detail. Abdul Kunju was well built and impossible to catch in a cricket ground. Chotta rajan did the same modus operandi in the John Periera murder case. They did not even try to run after Abdul Kunju they caught hold of his close friends and told Abdul to come to them or else these children would be killed. Abdul Kunju gave up his life to save those children. He could have run away from the spot. The main reason or the desperate attempt to kill Abdul Kunju was that Chotta Rajan knew that the D company and pathan gang war would be resolved. And then Abdul Kunju will become the top don. Exactly when D Company resolved their differences with Pathan gang subhash singh thakur joined D Company.
