This means Sada mama didn't care about his boss Daddy and without keeping him in loop killed Chotta babu. I think this could be one of the reason Sada mamas encounter at ghatkopar. This is one of the incidence there could be many more. Same way Nana did with Thapa . Without keeping D in loop got him killed and later ST & SS avenged their friends killing and threw their bodies in Saryu River. Thats why they say Baap baap hota hai. Good narration Baljeet ji. Ashok Chaudhary AKA Chota Babu was the casualty of a power struggle within the Dagdi chawl gang. During the early 90s Sada Pawle was running the operations of the Dagdi gang with gawli perpetually behind bars, his core team was Vijay tandel, Ganesh vakil, Kiran walawalkar. Chotta Babu was handling a lot of the finances of the gang & in the process siphoning off a lot of money without the knowledge of the top brass. He had even bought a house in Mazagon & shifted there with his family. His modus operandi was to settle the matter with the victim & pocket the money saying that the person could only that sum. This happened on numerous occasions and sada Mama was very upset as he was running the entire operation and Babu was reaping the benefits and cheating the gang. The last nail in the coffin was that he had turned a high profile informer of the crime branch & his information resulted in the encounters of a few gang members. This angered sada Mama do much that he killed Chota Babu without talking even gawlis permission. Friends from 1990 to 97 Sada Mama didn't need anyone's permission to execute his plans ( eg. Vallabh thakkar) , he was the defacto boss of the Dagdi chawl gang.
