Well, this video was inspiring enough to by the SC-400 SGT! She seems WAY more beautifull close up (yes I named her Liz, stop wondering who is "she" ), the overall feeling of satin touch is GORGEOUS, sound is better than expected (but eventually I'll change the pickups at some point) and finally, it was way much higher than my expectations. Very very VERY nice/high quality for the price. Thank you lads, YOU rock!!!
That thing's absolutely gorgeous!! What an awesome price too! Sounded amazing. Would love to see pics or a video on the changes Steve made to it with the burnt pickup covers and such. A HB will definitely be my next guitar. Such good guitars! Great vid guys!
So how is the neck? Is it a chunky baseball bat or more of a 60's slim taper feel? I have the SC450P90GT, and that neck is every bit as fat as a genuine '56 Les Paul. I prefer a slimmer 60's style neck.
Unfortunately the quality on these budget models isn't very consistent. I got one in a deal (very cheaply) that had a few minor fret issues, it was easily sorted. For the money they can be a good platform for improving, modding pickups, etc and can end up as decent guitars. Mine has a particularly fat neck which took a while to get used to but now plays well and sounds suprisingly good. Good for the money but be prepared to do a bit of work on them imo..

This video made me buy one 😅 with a TE-20 telecaster. Looking forward to try them.
Epic. Let me know what you think of it when it arrives
Beautiful guitar !
Amp is so loud!!! 🤯 Will be good when the extra bits turn up and maybe can do a quick follow-up vid just to show how it looks. 🤘🐴
Would love to see an update on it!
Those humbucker covers better be on by now!
Not yet! 🙄 Still waiting for the other parts from Thomann. Coming from Germany so hoping its not too much longer! 😬🐴
Should be here for next weekend! 🤘🐴
Got the parts lads! Working on it tonight! 🤘🐴
I had one of these, mine was a turkey 🦃! Dodgy switch, iffy tone pots, wouldn’t stay in tune 🙄😞
I’ve heard that it’s a 50 50 toss up with this, you either get a great on or a bad one and that’s why I’m iffy on getting this
@@dominickfine1310 you are exactly right on this model. I’d avoid it myself

plays a bit nice but it's some pop or something
scarf joint puts away of all cheap models
The thing is.... does that has any impact in its sound ?
