      The Website is probably run by the same same people who built CVT transmissions. Not very functional. I never got to the point where I found out how much product I get for that $51 price tag. The site was overdone and couldn’t get to the purchase point without malfunction. Glad you got money from them but their marketing department wasn’t smart enough to get money from me and I seriously wanted to try the product.

      Anyone that believes that, I have a cafe for sale. There is never a single cause to this. Greed is the primary driver behind all of this. When the manufacturers can install a turbocharged 4 or 6 cheaper than what the 8 cost them, and they can sell them for a higher price, what do you think that they are going to do?

    If I buy a vehicle for 83k that's worth 35k, I want a guarantee, not a warranty. If it breaks, the dealership pays in full and I get a loaner free of charge while it's being fixed. If it's terminal, I get another one free of charge.

      They cannot without paying huge carbon offsets. Even CDJR is moving to EV Chargers and Challengers because of CAFE and carbon standards. Unless these things are relaxed, we are stuck with turbo, CVT, start/stop, hybrid-only (like current Camry), etc. And it will get even more complicated as they try to extract tiny bits of extra efficiency from ICE engines.

    GM has committed a lot of money toward designing and producing an updated V8 engine. Looks like they will have the serious truck market to itself in the future.

    • @bokononisti2820
      @bokononisti2820 7 годин тому

      But it’s very expensive to go this route because they have to buy carbon offsets, so that raises the price of the truck. All the manufacturers understand that customers prefer V8 full size trucks and V6 small trucks. It’s just too expensive to keep doing that, so they are hoping customers will come around to the small turbo engines.

    To me vehicles are at least 20% above what they should be.
    When buying a new vehicle it loses 20% as soon as you sign the paperwork, because it's now used. It takes about 3/4 of the loan payments to have equity with minimum deposit.
    Minimum deposit, and over 5 years loan get GAP INSURANCE WHEN YOU BUY THE VEHICLE.
    EVEN TESLA IS LOWERING MSRP. IF YOU BOUGHT YOUR VEHICLE EARLIER ARE NOW 20 K UPSIDE DOWN. SAY YOUR CAR IS TOTALLED. THE REGULAR INSURANCE PAYS ABOUT 70% OF VALUE. SO YOUR LEFT PAYING FOR A TOTALLED VEHICLE THAT COULD BE 4 K TO THE LOAN INSTITUTION.
    GAP INSURANCE WILL COVER THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO YOUR LOAN AMOUNT OWED.

      I own one of these new ones and test drove the previous generation prior to purchasing the new one. One is essentially paying a premium for a better looking car that has more pep and is a sportier more fun car to drive over the previous anemic ones. The increase in price over the previous generation is justified.

    Most people lease EVs, so don't worry about the depreciation fallout. There are some decent deals for used EVs. 2025 will be an interesting year for automakers

      If you are talking about oversupply, it looks like all the manufacturers overproduced trucks (especially higher trim levels) and overpriced them to boot.

    My Toyota dealership had two Camry LE models at MSRP and they didn't last. They have AWD models at $33K and up. It's pretty clear that there is lots of demand for base model Corollas, Camry, Prius. I'm not sure on the RAV4 but nobody seems to want the RAV4 Hybrids these days. Back in 2018, they had more LEs than other trim levels - customers went in and just grabbed the base model with no addons as it was quick, cheap and easy and a no-brainer car to buy. Add-ons and higher trim levels are not what customers want these days. Toyota, come on!
    I just had a minor repair at my local Meineke dealer to fix something minor for $100 that Toyota would have charged $2,000 for. And my 2012 Camry feels absolutely great. I'm back to just waiting. My dealership sends me an offer for a new Camry LE for $31,500 from $33,500. The 31,500 price includes add-ons. Give me. one for $29,500 and you get my interest. Give me one for $27,500 and the odds are high for a sale. But I could also just stay with my 2012 and 2018 Camrys for the next five years. 2025 Camyrs are all hybrids and I don't know if that's what I want.
