I slightly disagree on where you put Malenko. I would have actually placed him in the Indies during the Indy Boom of the early 2010's. He would have been massive on the net and been able to parlay that into stardom elsewhere. I know y'all have seen some of the moves he put on Rey back during some of their matches back in the day. Good video. Yes some these wrestlers have been suited had they either born years earlier or years later. Like for Vaudevillains may had been good for New Generation but they also would have been good during the territory days when it was the WWWF. So would Cesaro too. He could’ve competed with Dominic DeNucci and Bruno Sammartino. He would have done good in Ruthless Aggression too. Jack Swagger would’ve done better during Ruthless Aggression too. Viking Raiders and Valhalla would’ve done good during New Generation. Hit Row would’ve done well during New Generation. Khali would’ve done better in the Golden Age. Molly Holly would’ve been good in today’s Modern Era. Lana would’ve been better during New Generation. Good Brothers would’ve done better in the Golden Era. Authors of Pain would’ve done well in either Attitude or Ruthless Aggression. Adam Rose, DJ Gabriel and No Way Jose would’ve been suited for the New Generation with their party gimmick. So would the Heartthrobs would have fit in with New Generation. Eva Marie would’ve been better as a valet in the territory days where women ain’t do much. Ivory would fit in with the Golden Age. Karrion Kross and Scarlet would’ve fit in with Attitude Era. Emma would’ve done well for Ruthless Aggression. Ruthless Aggression would’ve been a better fit for Aliyah too. Straight Edge Society would’ve done well in the Attitude or Ruthless Aggression Era. Retribution would’ve done well in the Attitude or Ruthless Aggression too. Manu would have done well in WWE today cause he could have been added to the Bloodline with his family. Sin Cara would’ve did well in Ruthless Aggression or today when WWE still had a Cruiserweight because he could have been Cruiserweight had they not discontinued the title
Mickie James Michel michool malinea carlito paul London and Brain Kendrick All good werstlers i enjoyed watching growing sucks they were always mid card players they would win gold every once in a while sucks that people nowadays don't mention them anymore still top tier wrestlers in my book 😊😊❤
I call nonsense on Punk being bigger in the Attitude Era. Literally would be a lower mid carder character. The pipebomb would be another Monday. His character works best in the era he's a part of. I.E. late Ruthless Aggression, early PG. The promo that put him on the map, only meant something because of the era he's in.
I am not sure that the Vaudevillains would have fitted so well in the mid90's. Yes there were a lot of gimmick, but in my opinion, they could have been lost in the mix and their gimmick was precisely what made them stand out. The problem was not the era. It was how their transition from NXT to the main roster did not succeed to keep what made them so unique and fresh in NXT but that has often been the case ( The Ascension, Shinsuke Nakamura, etc ... ). A wrestler I would have wanted to see in the modern era is the 2001 Chyna. Would have she been as impressive in modern days ?
Chyna wouldn't have stayed in an environment where her ex-boyfriend & originally planned fiance went behind her back to date and eventually marry the bosses' daughter, everyone knows this.
Except he doesn't. Kevin Nash is wrong. AGAIN. Just like when he infamously called the likes of Eddie Guerrero "vanilla midgets" when those same talents could wrestle rings around "Big Daddy Cool".
If Michelle was in the modern era, she would be successful because she was a good wrestler (and Undertaker’s wife) but she wouldn’t rule the division like she did. She works better as a pioneer. Now someone like AJ Lee, Kaitlyn or Paige are women who would’ve thrived in the modern era. Instead, their time was in the dark ages stuck putting over ditzes like The Bella Twins.
A true main eventer like the ultimate warrior? You don't have to have a time machine to know that Chris Masters vs the ultimate warrior would have been stir fried shit served in a dirty ashtray
Yess!! Michelle is so underrated!! Alot of ppl write her off based on backstage politics but she had the ring skill, the mic skill and look, i loved her work…Jazz, Victoria and Melina wouldve been great fits for this modern day era too
Punk only stood out because he was in the PG Era. And his whiney real life attitude would've gotten him beat up backstage. No one was going to put up with his shit.
Punk's problem is that he takes wrestling seriously in an era where nobody else does. He would've fit in perfectly in the attitude era. There's a reason you only see todays wrestlers talking shit about him while people like Piper, Rock, Austin, Bret, and Cena praise him.

Wouldn't have worked. He doesn't have an outrageous gimmick to get him over. Besides, the Attitude Era already had Big Show/Paul Wight as its own giant after he left the sinking ship of WCW in 1999.
Have him feud with the undertaker
FTR brings back the old school feel in the new era. Love their work 🔥
Didn't know Von Wagner was Beau Beverly's son. By the way, he had a very touching promo about this childhood.
Loving his story on NXT with Robert Stone made me a fan of him
Idk about punk if he would have been suited for attitude era but one match that I would die for is punk vs stone cold like come on , one guy who doesn't do drugs vs the guy who lives on beers so different yet so much common in them their promos would have been lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you imagine the ingenuity this man would've had where the Spot Beasts started to shine? Or the type of Matches he could've had with young Bryan Danielson, Kevin Steen, or Claudio Castagnole? I will always believe that is the era he missed. Prime ROH days.
Who else believed that the Mantaur gimmick would of been more successful during the Hulk Hogan era R.I.P. Mike Halac
Micke James Beth Phenix Michelle McCool maliena don't get the credit they deserve nowadays kickd off the women era in WWE before it even became a thing 😂😂 grew up watching All those women My top favorite female wrestlers hands down 😊
If you think about it, rutless agression era is just ECf’nW!
If CM Punk were in the Attitude Era, he would’ve just been another Jeff Jarrett (back in his guitar smashing days)
Holy God we just burying Von Wagner I guess😳
Chelsea green has said she should've been in the divas era. Perfect fit.
Vince is wrong in almost every era
I actually wanna see Punk more as the face of ECW in its prime, his straightedge gimmick would give him nuclear heat in the OG land of extreme
Deuce n Domino should also be in the new generation era,
Roman Reigns in the ruthless aggression era fighting Bautista on SmackDown would’ve went crazy,
Samoa Joe and the ruthless aggression era,
velveteen dream would’ve been perfect in the new generation era
Well done video and topic!!
Kinda disagree with Punk being a bigger deal in the AE he'd have probably been in the hardcore division or In the midcard with guys like Eddie, Benoit and Y2J
Benoit and Eddie weren't in WWE during attitude era. Punk would have to fight against Val Venus, JBL, maybe Steven Regal, Shamrock, Blackm*n, etc.
Also, Jericho wasn't in WWE during the attitude era.
@@pafoneto1275 Jericho became part of WWE in 1999
Punk should have been in ruthless aggression era
Von Wagner wouldn't work in any era.....he's simply not very good.
I don't care what WWE say started the Attitude Era, HBK and Bret Hart weren't part of it!! It started with Austin winning the belt and feuding with Mr Mcmahon - their first match was the first time they won the ratings in 84 weeks.
Pubk vs Foley would have been magic.
Von Wagner should be put in a tag team, "The Destruction Crew 2.0".
Dean Malenko would have done great at Nakatomi Plaza
Superstar Billy Graham was around during the Hulkamania era
Chris Masters was always a Lex Luger “Narcissist” gimmick remake
Simon Gotch buries Enzo Amore video shows up on my homepage once a week.
2011 TLC champions picture
Chris Masters was a modern-day Paul Orndorff without proper booking.
Im not saying punk should be in the attitude era. But, him versus mankind would have been fun.
Completely agree. I don't know how people think that Vince would even consider giving him mic time.
Chyna wouldn't have stayed in an environment where her ex-boyfriend & originally planned fiance went behind her back to date and eventually marry the bosses' daughter, everyone knows this.
the Vauvillans would also have been great against the Rougeous
I feel like the Brian Pillman gimic is what Kenny Omega was trying to do back in njpw
Maybe... that's a interesting take tho

And I thought only LA Knight “stole other Wrestlers Gimmicks.”
Except he doesn't. Kevin Nash is wrong. AGAIN. Just like when he infamously called the likes of Eddie Guerrero "vanilla midgets" when those same talents could wrestle rings around "Big Daddy Cool".
I'd add Bad News Brown to the list. Let's just say there's a reason I call Stone Cold Steve Austin Bad News White.
Victoria and Gail Kim were in the same boat as Beth.
Hercules Hernandez had that same finisher in the 80s as Chris masters
this video is a great example of why we need all stars 2
Any other era, Punk would have gotten the piss beaten out of him and chased out of the locker room.
Bold claim to say Chris Masters could have beaten the Hulk clean, brother!
A true main eventer like the ultimate warrior? You don't have to have a time machine to know that Chris Masters vs the ultimate warrior would have been stir fried shit served in a dirty ashtray
Von Wagner: Come Tuesday
Probably a Killer Kowalski documentary "Killer" The Walter Kowalski story
Simon Gotch is awesome watched him in interviews seems pretty cool and intelligent guy him talking about Enzo was hilarious
Punk is back with WWE and it's a no-brainer that Punk will thrive in the Attitude Era!!!
Really enjoyed this thank you Andy
I love this discussion and video. There are wrestlers in the wrong era.
Brian Pillman was in a car accident not a motorcycle accident that was Kerry Von Erich that had the motorcycle accident
& here are the era were they best fit
10. Ezekiel Jackson (Rock 'N' Wrestling Era)
9. Brodus Clay (Rock 'N' Wrestling Era)
8. Waylon Mercy (The Attitude Era)
7. Ultimate Warrior (Rock 'N' Wrestling Era)
6. EC3 (Universe Era)
5. CM Punk (The Attitude Era)
4. Alberto Del Rio (Current Era)
3. Michelle McCool (Network Era)
2. Vladimir Kozlov (Rock 'N' Wrestling Era)
1. Dude Love (Rock 'N' Wrestling Era)
I could see Kozlov vs Hogan
@@claymathewselevator8121 Yeah, Vladimir would definitely be a big star during the Rock 'N' Wrestling era and even potentially WWE Champion.
For Dean Malenko, I think he’d fit it more during the Lou Thesz era
CM Punk 👑
David Schultz in the Attitude Era. He already smacked TF out of a reporter back in the day. Good rivalries and matches, if he was in that time.
