Ok so Pompeji, the song you really like the flow of... The slow/chill parts, during the verse, is pretty much exactly what Crosses sounds like. I'd HIGHLY recommend doing their first album. It's a two man group, Chino and Shaun Lopez. Super vibey like this track, but also mixing in some hip hop and witch house stuff. So. Freaking. Good.

I don't love Palms, its good. But I think Crosses and Team Sleep are the stronger projects, and have more albums and songs to go thru as well.

Deftones and producer Terry Date never disappoint. To me Ohms feels like a reprise, the last song before the encore. It's taking a look back at the choices in life and the consequences. So damn emotional. And, I mean, Deftones don't need to prove anything to anyone. If you can, check out footage of Dia de los Deftones 2024 here on YT. They sounded better than ever. (With their live shows it can be a bit hit and miss, to be honest. Harcore Deftones fans know and suffered.) 🤣

Strokes, Interpol, Sonic Youth, Coheed & Cambria and Tool are all great contenders with Deftones. Sonic Youth is more noise and distortion than others though.
