Hey mike you and Justin are the reason why I started pressure washing . I have been able to pay my school tuition for the fall in full and have been able to upgrade from a 2.5 gpm machine to a truck flatbed with a 4gpm pressure washer and a soft washing system .

No pressure washing here in Western Pa. Sometimes you can get into early November but mostly around end of October. Luckily I do interior carpentry and painting through winter months. We are already in the lower 40's at night. Had a couple frosts last week.

So Florida would be a good place to open up a pressure washing business anywhere south of Orlando. Year-round work plus all those extras👍

My old boss made me pressure wash when it was snowing. no joke I had patch frost on my hand bc the water was in the gloves. It was cold water pressure washing. Never be a greedy boss to sacrifice your employees. Meanwhile he was inside washing windows. That's why I don't agree with bosses who just tell employees what to do or stay at home. I will always try to be in the field with my employees to let them know hey I'm in this with you. I would never have my employees do something I don't want to.

I'm taking the first steps toward starting my own pressure-washing business. I registered an LLC with my state and FEIN, etc but I don't have the equipment and stuff yet. Should I get the equipment first or should I look for customers before investing?

I’ve been looking for some good bleach proof pants, where did you find the ones shown in the video if you don’t mind me asking?

The state of Texas is seeing a lot of unusual weather lately even though it doesn't really get cold often.

With respect to you, and your knowledge but it depends on the unit, and its standards in reference in temperature of the pumps. Not all pumps are equal. Read the owner’s manner. (Cold water) however hot water washing. I did Christmas decorations, and snow removal. But i live in Ohio. This year i am learning how to rebuild my transmission. Myself personally being in Ohio once the temperature high is only 51f. I stop. Because I don’t want to run the risk of damaging my pump. In fact how i got started watching your UA-cam channel is when i called you to help me problem solve and the symptoms of my washer pump going out. Which you were right 100%! With the pandemic i was able to use my washer to to spray disinfectant in schools and churches. And also auto detailing inside of a garage i rented out. General rule tho is if its too cold to paint its too cold to wash! Like mike said the power is in your chemicals. For me personally end of October my season is over! Tho I don’t have a lot of money, ive found its also a great time to learn what you can from mike and his team and upgrade your abilities from his channel, pod casts a d lectures. If you got the money i highly suggest taking some of his courses. And spend that time learning different techniques and also the technology side of things. Or taking some of your money you saved up and make custom upgrades to your equipment. So that the start of the next season your on top, but also comfortable using your equipment. For me personally stock triggers and applicators were too short. So

Should I worry about putting my gear inside or not storing it in my vehicle during the winter? Will the cold cause damage to my equipment as well?

Have you guys ever considered snow plowing? Y'all got the trucks already. My roommate works for a landscaping business and during the winter season they switch over to snow removal and plowing.
