Hi Dr.Rudnica❤️ I do watch all your videos because you are right on everything you say. I have a question about my 15 year old son. He has alopecia universalis since 2021 right after covid vaccine. He was on baricitinib for one year, some regrowth on back of his head one or 2 eyebrows. By end of the year he started losing hair again even he was still taking Baricitinib .At the same time we got approved for Litfulo from Pfizer, so we switched right away He lost everything he regrew. Now he’s on ritlecitinib ( Pfizer) . This is the second month he’s being on it. I see some white hair but no too much.I follow Dr.Brett King ( professor of dermatology). He mentioned that all patients taking JAK should be taking minoxidil at the same time. Why my son’s doctor doesn’t want him to be on minoxidil yet. What’s your opinion on this please? How do you treat your patients? Is it necessary to be on both at the same time? Thank you for your time
I can not make therapeutic suggestions in individual cases via UA-cam. I general medicine is never black and white. Every patient is different. In one of my upcoming videos about European approach to alopecia areata I plan to address the issue of possible combination of JAK inhibitors with minoxidil. If we use it, it is off-label.
Wow,
Very interesting and impressive dear professor
Thanks our dear professor for the excellent informations.❤

What kind of regrowth can one expect with treatment of alopecia totalis? I mostly just want my eyebrows back lol (they were the last thing to go).
Everything is possible from 0% to 100%
