  • Pandav Agyatwas | पांडवों का अज्ञातवास | Mahabharat Ep. 13 | Fact Finderz
In the Mahabharata, the Pandavas spent their 13th year in exile in disguise in the kingdom of Virata, also known as Virata Nagari:
    Location
The Pandavas hid in the court of King Virata in the Matsya kingdom, which is now known as Biratnagar in Nepal.
    Identities
The Pandavas took on the following identities:
Yudhishthira: Became Kanka, a Brahmin who played dice with the king
    Bhima: Became Vallabha, a cook
Arjuna: Became Brihannala, a eunuch who taught dancing and music
Nakula: Became Granthika, a horse trainer
Sahadeva: Became Tantipala, a cattle herder
Draupadi: Became Sairandhri, a maid to Queen Sudeshna
    Outcome
The Pandavas successfully completed their Agyatvas, or period of incognito, without anyone discovering their true identity.
The Pandavas spent their first 12 years of exile in the forests of Kamyaka and Dwaita. They went into hiding after losing a game of dice to Duryodhana, who threatened suicide if he didn't get a rematch. The terms of the rematch were that the loser would be exiled for 12 years in the forest and then spend a 13th year incognito.
