Hi Sarah! These came out soooo cool. I love how you individualized the bars with different constellations. So kind of you to give me credit and link too! I think you're awesome. What an amazing soaper you are! I'm realizing that I already commented, but I didn't see it when I searched for it and wanted to make sure you saw my response.
+Vibrant Soap Thank you so much, Clyde! I love how you aren't afraid to experiment with different methods of pouring and how generous you are to share. Your Vibrant Amber soap was definitely a lightbulb moment for me... I knew that it would be the perfect method to get the look for the Galaxy soap. Thank you so much for your kind words and contribution to the soaping community!
+Crystal Bagby Thank you (and your husband) so much! I know how hard it can be to get something out of mine, so I'll DEFINITELY take it as a big compliment! :D
Sarah, I love the way these turned out. I particularly like how you individualized the bars with constellations. It is a fun technique isn't it? Thanks for the credit. You're an awesome soaper... and person! :) Clyde
Girl! I was SO with you until you started hand painting LOL. That looked so tedious! Kudos to you for allowing your idea to come to life. They turned out excellently 😀
+billiezee Lol! It definitely was a lot of work, but I had the idea in my mind about how they should look and the pipette just didn't cut it. Had to go in with the hand-painting. :D
That was fabulous. Was worried there for a second...but these turned out sooo cool. And I love how you used the toothbrush. Btw, the music is everything!!! Love
+DivinelitesHandMadeSoap Thank you so much! I had a lot of inspiration for this one. Clyde's techniques and some amazing galaxy-painted animals just made it pop in my mind. :D
This is by far the most bad ass soap I've seen. Love the toothbrush technique because I'd never seen that done. I've been making melt and pour but have gotten all my orders in to start making CP. Any tips or tricks are much appreciated.
+Amanda Neville Thank you, Amanda! It was the best way I could think to get the "splatter" of the differently-sized stars on the bars. Thankfully, it worked! :D
Just discovered your channel and I love it. With a name like spicy pinecone I really want to see you make soap in the shape of a pinecone like the really good smelling ones you get at Christmas. Haha.
I've been looking for a good pinecone mold. Might just have to make my own. (And I adore those good-smelling cinnamon pinecones at Christmas-time. Ohmygoodness... YUM!) Lol! Thanks for watching!!! 💖💖💖
Fedup Withem Probably people who were born WITHOUT thumbs...they're jealous because, unlike normal people, they can't snap their fingers to the music, so it keeps throwing off their dance steps....
Love thiis soap. I attempted to make this using black oxide w/ a simple olive oil, coconut, palm base. When I poured it the soap wax black but it cooled to a grey. Any suggestions to a pure black? TYVM Y
+Jen H Hi Jen! I use a few different containers in this video. The main batter was mixed in a plastic container that I purchased at a local restaurant supply store. I like them because they have handles and measurements on the side. The funnel-spout pitchers can be found on Amazon, and the large white bowl with the handle was purchased from either the dollar store or Walmart. (Can't remember which.) :)
+mukwah1111 Thank you! This one is scented with a blackberry blend I made. I will tell you that you want a VERY well-behaved fragrance oil in order to try the swirl, though. Lol! You'll need time to play. :)
I cleaned the tops of the soaps up with a soap planer. It shaves a very small sliver of soap off the top to bring it down to the color underneath. Great for revealing swirls!
This is my fave soap video! I gave it a shout out in a soap interview I did with Lovin' Soap Studio😗 www.lovinsoap.com/2017/07/interview-with-gwynne-chaplock/
I just finished reading your interview! It was absolutely amazing. The photo at the end made my heart melt it was such a beautiful moment to have captured. Thank you so much for the shout out!
I can not believe how realistic it looks!! You nailed Galaxy!!! Absolutely gorgeous!

+Soap Queen TV Thank you so much, Anne-Marie!
+Sarah Milroy (Spicy Pinecone) You're welcome! =)
Lol...as I'm watching this, I'm thinking this is the 'Clyde Slide'. Totally awesome!
+Lisa Romero Definitely inspired by Clyde's work. I saw his technique and thought it would look wonderful as a galaxy soap. :)
I can learn so many techniques in just one video. Thank you so much for a wonderful work.
That tooth-brush technique is genius! Perfect!
Those are awesome! You put so much care and detail in each bar!
+jarringcreations This one was definitely a more labor-intensive batch, but I had the idea in my head and was so thrilled to see it come to life! :D
Absolutely stunning - this is probably one of the best galaxy soaps I’ve seen, love how they turned out!!

Who actually takes the time to hit the thumbs down and why?
+Fedup Withem IKR!
Fedup Withem Probably people who were born WITHOUT thumbs...they're jealous because, unlike normal people, they can't snap their fingers to the music, so it keeps throwing off their dance steps....

+Robin Nicorvo Activated charcoal gives pure black
+Cecilia Huddy Thank you so much for the response. I thought so but I am so new to soaping that I wanted to be sure before attempting it again! :)
Gorgeous ❤️❤️
+Curvy Nerd Thank you so much!
What did you use to remove the soda ash?
That was fun to watch- I like how you went back and used the unused toothbrush to create the stars. Turned out great. What was the fragrance?
+HandWorks Artisan Soaps I'm so glad that you liked the video! I fragranced this one with a blend of sugary sweet berries.... mostly blackberry. :)
what was that contraption you used to clean your soaps?
Would love to know where you got your mixing containers?

Nice job!! :)
+The Farm at Beaman's Fork Thank you so much! :)
Nice save ma'am!!
Happy Thanksgiving Sarah
Honestly, I wouldnt waste your time with the gold color constellation effect. To me it looks better with just the white mica and its simpler, faster.
Thank you so much for watching! I wanted something that would pop for the constellations, which is why I "went bold with gold". :-)
Ridiculously good music
impresionante!!!
very nice. What s the name of this materiel to polish soap?
I cleaned the tops of the soaps up with a soap planer. It shaves a very small sliver of soap off the top to bring it down to the color underneath. Great for revealing swirls!
How much do you sell each bar for?
What was the smell you used
