Although I loved it all my favourite scene (apart from seeing gotrek and felix) was when the skaven reinforcements arrived and the kislev soldiers last charge against them.
I think it was the fight down the wall, between Kislev soldiers and Chaos monster, ending with the ultimate charge of the priest and his men ! The intro tho was really good, it shows the very power of Chaos ! Can't wait to see how it will end !

When they charge at the rat rifles it gives me the same chills as the AOT titan scene when the captain and the scouts charge the beast titan. Excellent cinematics my dude. Absolutely superb 👌🏻
Once again, your storytelling abilities within this game are absolutely incredible. This is a great interpretation of the battle so far. Beastslayer is one of my favorite books in the Gotrek & Felix series, and I can definitely see the inspiration here. Its so fun to see this story come to life, even with the differences/changes. I'm excited for part 2!
Excellent tactics: as a cliche in all films - to take heavy infantry outside the walls of the city in order to completely lose the advantage, but it is more beautiful to die and certainly lose the battle, well, if at least field fortifications were dug in front of the walls and infantry were sent to them, no, they were simply lined up in an open field in front of more numerous and strong hand-to-hand chaos warriors.
among all the cinematic battles of TW, I have watched, this is far the best one. The frames, the footages, the timings. Just perfection ! Can't wait to see part 2 and more videos man

I have been in this community for a couple years now and I've been a Lizardmen player on WHFR and TW and a Seraphon player on tabletop; but just the sheer complexity of the setting was what made me first read up on Kislev's lore, just a footnote in a larger story, but then I read it and instantly became one of my top favorite ten factions. And then I began just watching some TW cinematic videos and I stumbled on yours, and I have to say this, but you are one of the best people I have seen in this type of video, and you have made something that not only does a great service of showing Kislev as a nation (not just as a meat shield to the Empire) but as a complete video with care and practice put into it which I have not seen many, if any, people put so much work into. And Kislev's got Gotrek so its really something they ought to be proud of- EDIT: Are the Lizardmen by any chance going to appear in later parts of this, and also, is thete a reason for why you jad the Skaven be part of thr chaos army? I might just be dumb on the latter, but prior to the actual End Times, the Skaven were chaotic in nature but they kinds just gavr the middle finger to anything but themselves and also telling themselves to eat shit, so is there a reason why you had them there (again, I am not the biggest-greatest lore buff-nerd when it comes to who the Skaven-things ally themselves with). And I didn't say this before, but I am definitly looking forward for the second part of just how well made and put together your videos are

However, I wanted to express this channel's unique story just inspired by the novel. The story will unfold in a new direction that does not match the content in the novel. Unfortunately, Lizardmen do not appear in Part 2.

Check out the "shorter trails" mod for projectiles. I think for the close ups you're doing it would enhance the immersion a bit, either way keep em coming!
In a real battle some dug outs would have been dug for the infantry to shoot from and be able to retreat from one wooden wall to the next and finally back inside the city. Or at the very least a layer of pikemen in front, the best example would be the Spanish "Tercios", the first modern army of Europe.
Anyone facing Chaos and having any magical ability should have a spell available that makes the opposing Chaos forces (Khorne vs. Slaanesh and Nurgle vs. Tzeentch) turn on each other. (And forces of Khorne have a penalty resisting this spell).
Why did the Kislevites take up a battle formation OUTSIDE THE WALLS!?! They're not there to be pretty decorations.... Once again, Hollywood influence on an otherwise really awesome looking battle. And apart from that one..... admittedly... INFURIATING decision... an accurate depiction of the tactics each of these factions would employ.
These cinematics get me so pumped- Zoe or nothing about Warhammer specifically, im a huge fantasy and strategy game guy. Is the actual game anything like these battles?

I recently learned that in the medieval it really happened when defenders went beyond the walls and fought on the plain

It is preferable to die that fight inside a siege battle.
I thought they will retreat back to the wall when facing enemy range unit. But for movie salary, they chose to push :))))

I didn't expect the Skaven mercenaries. But ratmen gunners and chaos infantry would be a scary combo.
They do it all the time in my campaigns... Nothing puts the fear of god into me more then Archaon with skaven mortars in it.
