Look around when you are in the woods! Perhaps the red eyes of the greenskins are glowing red in the dark!
A legion led by Karl Franz was passing through a huge forest to battle the greenskins.
While passing through the forest, they encounter an unexpected ambush.
It was thought to be an ambush of a small army, but the army that ambush Karl Franz was none other than Grimgor Ironhide's main force.
Grimgor divides his army on both sides of the forest and starts attacking Karl Franz's army at the same time as the signal.
Will Karl Franz be able to escape the crisis?

Dude I love this cinematic style of battle. The way you tell a story and get those excellent shots. Rather than just some random moshpit fighting with a static camera. Easily some of the best battles on UA-cam for this game. You deserve way more credit for these videos and I can't wait to see your take on some of tge other races

As someone who absolutely loves late medieval/early modern warfare, can't believe I'm only just discovering this total war has exactly that army style. This is also the best total war video I've ever seen hands down!!
Warhammer 3 has Bretonnia and Empire which have late medieval stuff in their army roster, Also Kislev which has some stuff from Eastern European Country such as Russia and Poland.

I love that the reloading mod has become a standard for Warhammer cinematic battles these days. Arguably a feature that should have been stock standard. I remember someone argued that the game didnt need it until he actually watched it in action
Battle heavily inspired by the Battle of Teutoberg Forest, then the Waterloo movie and finally the Last of the Mohicans main battle. Was fun.

This video is a video expressing a military disaster. Not every war has the best strategy. There are many examples of real-life warfare where the worst strategies change the fortunes of armies. If your goal is to have the best, best, and perfect strategy, you wouldn't have to make this video :)

The opening was great. The moment I saw the lone greenskin I heard the words of the ancient sage, Admiral Akbar: "It's a trap!".
3 months late, but if you want my favourite? The lead up and conclusion at 10:10 with that blast.

Empire has Reiksguard, Empire knights, knights of the blazing sun and Demigryph Knights(2 Different variants). Yes They don't have the variety and strength of Bretonnia's knights or even Vampire counts, but they are fairly good at what they do(for a Cav unit)

I know myself that TW Warhammer is sadly quite limiting regarding cinematic shots, mainly due to clipping and animation bugs.
But seems you put lots of effort into this video and it really shows!
Thank you. I believe it will get better as software technology advances. I also try to edit as much as possible by removing such animation bugs and glitches, but there are many times when it is difficult.
The Story-line and the Camera works are amazing!

The Empire players mistake was playing defensively and letting the enemy pick the matchups, oh boy were there some nasty ones, Spearmen vs blackorcs , Halberdiers vs Savage orcs, and Greatsword a vs river troll hags, handgunners and luminark wasting ammo on goblins etc

It looks like it's meant to parallel the battle of teutoberg (spell check on that one) forest where 3 Roman legions were destroyed almost down to the man by the Germanic tribes.
@@garudalead Yeah I figured as much, it's just years of playing multiplayer has drilled all the best matchups into my head.
I get that for narrative purposes the Empire is meant to lose this fight, thus the creator put them in bad matchups on purpose, but it still bugs me a little

Man. The empire really needed some war wagons on this one. War wagons have got To be my favorite empire unit, free company second. Would’ve been extremely cool if it started off with some freecompany milita trying to deal with The ork warboss but ended up getting volley’d before run down by The wolf and spider riders. The empire replying to this sudden cavalry assault by sending forth war wagons which would continiously roll around The battlefield throughout The battle until eventually bogged down and destroyed.
Last time I checked, Orcs aren't 8-10 feet tall with the ability to fling bodies ten at a time like the movie version of Sauron.
guess the imperial outriders that check the obvious ambush points were all on vacation that day

This wasn't even remotely fair. The troop quality of the humies were poor. Leadership equally poor. They were outnumbered 4 to 1. The greens had Black orcs and giant spider riders. Finally, they didn't use magic until it was pretty much too late. Now us elves would have never fallen like this.

Do you use any graphics mods? Like reshade? If so, can you share your preset?
I use reshade and Matthew's preset(except HDR,DPX) in the workshop and I also rearrange color and tone with editing program.

Is it about reshade? Sorry I'm not sure about the subject. But... why don't you update reshade program and re-install it?
1. An entire company of musketeers went ahead and took position to kill a single orc.
2. Then they waited and posted in firing position for 3 whole seconds without firing, at the end of which they just started getting arrows.
3. Somehow the officers, on seeing a single orc in their way failed to suspect an ambush (with forests on both sides).
This is beyond stupid.
