HAPPY NEW YEAR GOLD PONY I love watching your videos i learn a lot.I know you’re very hard working bro but keep it up. YOU HAVE ALL THE CARS THAT I LIKE ON YOU’RE CHANNEL ITS AWESOME
Hello Andrew!! Thanks for this awesome review! Amazing that the Q5 has such a tight turning radius even though it has 4WD... :) Keep up the good work!! :)
Good work! I just got a '20 Q3 (not the Q5) Premium Plus S Line. It drives beautifully and the seats are the most comfortable I have ever sat in likely due the the extended thigh cushions. The only negatives are the less than stellar fuel mileage and the quirky apple Carplay. I chose this over the Acura RDX and Lexus NX. I shopped for months and I think I made the right choice. I would love to hear your view on this most enjoyable SUV so I hope you will review it. Thanks!
Joel Reiter i always consider servicing costs more than purchase price. German vehicles have very well known high after purchase costs. I’ve owned both and much prefer Japanese vehicles. We’ll know after 7-10 years of ownership. You’ve already noted poor gas mileage.
@@brucemadu8535 I have to admit you're right on the money regarding German servicing cost, but when it comes to the driving experience German cars are made for the enthusiast! I brought up to my co-worker (who happens to be an Indian immigrant not that that is relevant although I've always viewed Asians as particularly intelligent), how much I liked the BMW X5 & this Indian gentleman said He was about to purchase one for his wife but said he preferred the Lexus because you can avoid paying the European service cost and you can take the Lexus to a Toyota dealership for service & pay Avalon service repair costs.
I bought a 2019 Q5 Premiun Plus with panoramic roof. The interior lighting is awful when doors are opened even when interior lighting settings are set to max. Only issue. Vehicle awesome other than that
Hi Andrew, Happy New Year. The pano sunroof and digital display on the Q5 you reviewed is everything. I'm looking forward to your review of the Atlas Cross Sport that's coming in the spring. I'm not sure if around your area of PA there's a possibility you could review a 2020 Volvo S90, I'm mostly interested in your thoughts about the latest S90. Have you reviewed the 2020 MB GLS on your channel yet?
Serious question: We drove a 2019 Q5 Premium Plus, and my wife and I thought the seats felt like sitting on concrete blocks with a blanket thrown over them. So my questions are - Are the seats in the Prestige any better? or do they feel like very stiff boot leather that has no give or softness?
From experience, my dad owns a 2018 Premium Plus and agree that the seats aren't comfortable - our 2010 Murano had far better seats (and even my Jetta is slightly more comfortable). My friend owns a 2018 Premium Plus as well but has the sport seats (with cooled seats), and the front seats anyway are much more comfortable than without. Hope that helps!
@@RichardShelton I sat in both the Audi Q5 and the BMW X5 and found both's driver seat to be stiff. Audi's was really bad in the Q5. Can't speak for their other models. BMW's was tolerable but not nearly as comfortable as a Lexus, or even a Ford for that matter.
Awesome and entertaining review ! I just got 2 weeks ago a new 2020 premium plus, love it! I got the driver assist package, do you have a review on that?
Daniel Hernandez the same can be said about the RDX Type S, even if we haven’t seen any leaks, but am pretty sure that would be a game changer, I know that cause the current RDX it’s already a champ...
Funny thing the US pricing. Such cheap cars you have! Here in Finland the base price for the base price 2.0 litre DIESEL 120KW(163ps) with fabric seats, no sat nav nothing is 54.990€ ($59.277.57 converted) Q5 55 TFSIe Quattro price starts from 66 994,58€ ($72.218.15 converted) Base trim still doesn't have sat nav in it, neither does it have electric adjustments or leather in them, fabric seats. SQ5 starts from 99901.18€ ($107.690.48 converted) To get these all listed models equipped to the equal standard as your prestige, you can add around $20.000 in options to have the end price what we pay here Car tax is fkd up here.
That probably has more to do with per capita wealth. Average monthly income in Finland is $4000USD-$5000USD. Average monthly income in America is around $2500. You guys have more money in your pockets, so Audi price gouges you. Buy the Audi you want over the phone and have them put it on a boat for you 😅
@@chriskassela9060 Did you know that we also pay on average salary around 32% tax. To be in a realistic wealth base to be able to afford driving around in a brand new Q5 is around 60-70k euro annual income. At that income you would pay around 37-38% income tax, for comparison in US you pay 25% at that level. at 140.000 euro annual in Finland you pay 47% income tax, in US you guys are still under 30% + on top our base VAT on products is 24%. For food its 14%, for services its 10%
Audi is a much nicer looking car, Acura definitely is lacking in the looks department. Too bad the Audi is not as reliable as the Acura though. My choice? Neither.
That Q5 is Boring!! Why Would Anyone Buy One of Those Pre-historic Vehicles? The Styling & Tech Is Dated ( For The Exception of the Walnut Wood Trim & The digital Dash With the Nav, I Must Admit is Very Nice), But Other Than That I Would Have To Pass It Up & Get The Q3 or Q7.
I went to purchase a brand new Q7 and walked away with new Q5, just like the one pictured. With 3 people in my household, I dont need a bus... Wanna see perhistoric? Visit Lexus, Mercedes or Caddy dealerships. Acura you can compare to Chevy not to Audi.
Nice video, but you forgot to say whether the Q5 or the RDX? I'm looking at both and was hoping for some enlightenment. Keep up the good work!
I have never heard anything but absolute surprise as to how good the q5 sq5 is. Nothing but amazing reviews
Happy New Year! Great thorough review. It would be great to see a Q3 review as well and get your thoughts. Cheers.

Maintenance isn’t so bad if you purchase prepaid maintenance on a new purchase.

The adjustable arm rest can be found on the 2016 SEL Jetta ;)

Germans seem to enjoy firm seats.

I test drove both and ended up buying an RDX Advance Pkg.
Why?
@@thientran269 because It felt better for me and I got more tech for the price...
And ZERO comparison to RDX 😂😂
Based on the title, I expected a comparison with the RDX. Oh, well...nice review of the Q5 anyway.
Hi, could you give me a basic idea of difference between Q5 premium vs premium plus 2020

Hey monica, is there a hud display in q5?
RDX ERRRRDAYYY

It is a champ...but there's something about Audi that can't be beat.
Pierre-Richard Romain I think you are right but not on this Comp, maybe in others

It’s 2020, they still didn’t fix that fake exhaust, otherwise a 10/10 suv
Choosing between the '19 an'20 #GoTigers !
Love it
wow 19 speakers
Those are the optional 20 inch wheels :-)
Audi=exciting, Acura=toaster
Very ignorant comment. RDX has much more power lol
@@parsani ...and the RDX is still slower.
Sat in one and, man, the driver's seat is very uncomfortable. It was very hard and had an odd curve in it. Pass.
Try any of the Lexus F Sport seats... Most comfortable out there in my opinion 👍

RP the rdx is being compared to these brands for a reason. Acura’s getting back at it.
@@nahdiaalmonte3196 Strangely its always Acura who is trying to compare themselves to something they are not... I hate knock offs.
