They should have made them in the same order as they did in the 50's & 60's & made Kong vs Godzilla first & then gave us a Mothra movie & then a Rodan movie & then saved King of the Monsters for last!!!! Then we would have six films altogether in the series!!!!

To me this is the start of the MonsterVerse, the 2014 Godzilla movie was boring and a massive let down with so little Godzilla, a lame ass fight, and Godzilla nearly losing like a weakling.
Kong Skull Island is the only reason many even got invested in the movies because it actually gave a badass movie and a killer after credits that hooked people.

@@orangejuice4266 I loved Godzilla Minus One because it was telling a good story with interesting characters. 2014 did NOT have any human characters to give a crap about and people were there for Godzilla to do something.
Difference is in Minus One the human story keeps you invested as you care about them, the destruction by Godzilla is terrifying and the desperation when they are already down but still trying to survive this force of nature.
2014 is too much about the new MUTOs which no one gave a shit about because people were expecting Godzilla to be the driving focus or atleast have more time on screen then he did.

When I first saw this scene I was half asleep on the couch with the credits playing in the background, drifting off into the night. I never knew this scene existed so my shock when I heard talking at the end of the credits and I opened my eyes to see murals of three classic Toho monsters was immense. The second the scene finished I rushed to my parents to freak out about Ghidorah and Rodan and Mothra being in the next Godzilla movie.

Kinda sad that we didn't see more of this characters in future Monsterverse projects, I know the main focus are the monsters but actually this cast and characters were some of the best of the Monsterverse.

@Quwucuqin true Godzilla fan here and damn..... so far, Legendary Godzilla has been my favorite as he is more of a hero than a villian is what I like. But this roar out of any Godzilla versions, is by far the best in my opinion and the best ever. Especially ending part of his roar... sick.

When they showed the 4 monsters and the picture? I didn’t even got the time to react properly,I fell asleep until I heard Godzilla’s roar.
So I had amnesia for 3 weeks about the films end credits scene.until it came back to me.

They should’ve released this before Godzilla. I know skull island takes place before Godzilla it it would’ve been a great way to give a “sneak peek” of the 2014 Godzilla and king of the monsters
Skull island in my opinion is the most interesting monsterverse movie to date, and its introduction of Kong was fantastic

Godzilla KOTM is what people wanted, actual fights, monsters actually in the movie doing things, and Godzilla being in the movie for more then 15 mins out of a 2 hr plus movie.

I'm sad I slept on this movie when it first came out, but I did catch the post-credit scene when it first was put on UA-cam. I got literal chills when we were basically getting a remake of Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster. And I know everyone was talking about Godzilla VS Kong or Ghidorah making his entry, but me personally, I went nuts seeing my favorite, Rodan, get confirmed for the Monsterverse. And he was so awesome in King of the Monsters.
When i heard that roar when i saw Kong in the theater, I was like "YASS! GODZILLA!"
