Yeah it's such a shame though that this and klonoa 2 on PS2 fell under the radar during their day because of them being released in a era where western gamers were in a phase where any game with cartoonish or colourful graphics is for babies and that itty gritty realism are the only games suitable for "grown ups" same thing happened to Final Fantasy IX and Wind Waker
The CGI cut scenes are beautiful. The remake is great for its qualify of life improvements and anti-frustration features, but there is something to be said about artistic style that LIMITS of the media inspire artists to. When that work of art is brought to a more elaborate medium, that style is lost.
I am because when it was announced I was like "great now I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for the first 2 games" sure some diehard purists may find issues with the remaster but I'd say screw the purists

I remember this game, I had no idea what to expect and it as I progressed I kept becoming more and more in love with this quirky game.

It was bound to happen eventually, if Crash and Spyro were able to make a comeback then so can Klonoa 🙂
