Where the clips go onto the bonnet edge best to use helicopter tape to protect the bodywork from scratches before fitting. Also, ensure the bonnet is washed, dried, and polished well to protect underneath and ensure any paintwork chips are treated before fitting, or you could end up with a rusty bonnet where you cannot see.

You could have put all those pieces on first, then simply ‘clipped’ the protector onto the bonnet. Much easier and less risk of running a screwdriver across your paintwork.

Did you stick the bump stops to the bonnet? Or the protector?
are these really efficient deflecting bugs? do they affect the fuel economy?
In my experience it can make a small whistle on the motorway and affect economy by 1-2mpg (uk). Worth it for saving a windscreen if regulary on motorways or bad roads.

How long does it take to polish out all the scratches on the hood by using it as a bench? Won't be touching my van!
So to clean it you have to remove it ?.to much faffing about.
You can clean the top without removing...what are you on about?
I bought this is ebay off this company and it doesn’t fit holes in the wrong place doesn’t cover the badge but states 2010-2016 utter rubbish waste of money… 😡😡😡😡
