@@ali4games10 He was working with Amanda Holiday and she said some choice words about Spider, which she then said was a compliment.
After Ramen-bro ate his food and went to pay, he said the same choice words, thinking they were a compliment. A mob then attacked him and brought him to a district and apparently tortured him.
BUT
He might still be alive, as in the Shattered Cipher LMG lore tab, he might have escaped through a small hole in the building he was imprisoned and beaten in, with an Exo going in to chase after him. We know it's the same Eliksni since in each lore tab they were mentioned in, they had a lanyard card with the Vanguard symbol on it and the word "TEMPORARY".

I love how all us guardians mutually agree, that whoever harms an eliksni on City grounds, is getting fucking yeeted of the tower.
I didn't get to play through the Eliksni missions but I agree.
I would make anyone who hurts an Eliksni a Guardian... So I could brutally slay them, have their Ghost revive them just to brutally murder them again.

I dont think the lil ramen eliksni died, he was just wounded and hid in a ruin, there were search parties sent, and his own brother was looking for him, so i belive he got saved

@@onelonepotatochip4121 That's the same one where they mentioned he was wounded and hiding. The body bag and chemicals are on-hand for after he is caught, but for now his fate is undetermined.

Very late, but I’m fairly certain it was confirmed he was gunned down.
Yeah, in the lore of the heavy machine gun Shattered Cipher, there’s a discussion between some people, and they mention a “pile of towels soaked with some blue fluid” and they mention, “you didn’t hear what this one said at the ramen shop.” Sad how this guy learned those “five spirited words” from Amanda Hawthorne, who used it to describe the Spider but said it meant something positive.

I really do hope we the players get to track down those responsible for killing this beautiful eliksni. He did not deserve such a grim fate. And I hope that we get to personally take down Lakshimi considering that she and a few others seem to be attempting a coup against the vanguard
This will probably happen offscreen just like every important/cool event but I would like to turn her head backwards. For the first two weeks of the season I wish I could punch Saint-14 too but after Mlthrax told Saint how the eliksni people see him, Saint got very disturbed. Ikora said this in the end of a mission
@@NihlusN7 me too although, based on what Lakshmi said at the helm, it seems that Savathun may be corrupting the people of the Last City because this is something that she incorporates this into her sword logic where she divides an enemy and turns them against one another.
@@NihlusN7 Saint was never rly wrong this season in things he'd said prior. Saint is an example of the good route possible when a populace is trying to make peace with 'their monsters'. He's been getting more comfortable with Mithrax over time, but he was never rly antagonistic just dismissive and not entirely trusting, which is reasonable given his history. Also, Saint dropped some valid truths on Mithrax at one point, the only one to do so actually. It's like if during chosen someone actually got crow on a valid roast for something he genuinely fucked up. Saint responded to some of Mithrax's talk ig in override by pointing out guardians did not start the fight, the fallen preyed upon humanity in our darkest hour and when we fought back and gained the upper hand, now thwy act like theyve been the victim for an while
@@torunsmok5890 I agree. For us the players is easy to see that Mithrax wants to help but for Saint is hard to believe the fallen want to help us. Is a very human approach of his character. Saint's mistrust is not wrong but seeing him mistreat Mithrax and say bad stuff to him was sad and just made me angry.

He has trouble knowing proper grammar. He uses words like “protocol” when talking about how to eat. He uses a very formal way of talking that lacks nuance in english we know. I don’t understand how anyone didn’t think to stop him and ask if he knew what those words meant. It’d be like a foreigner saying fuck when referring to friends.
Honestly, I think that was just an excuse to start a lynch mob.

Like I know the game is rated T but honestly when I first heard this story I didn’t quite understand what the poor little fella said at the end so I assumed it must had been a sort of Eliksni phrase or thank you but apparently it was far more vulgar which I wish was more explicitly stated cause in being coy I feel like it’s a big shock later on to know that things were made so much worse because of a misunderstanding.
Yep, this is somewhat apart of the main reason I disliked Ikora moving the house of light in without precautions. Having guardians chaperone Eliksni around the city would’ve done better and in hindsight would’ve stopped a bad things from happening along with both bridge the language barrier.
Remember that Amanda Holliday "taught" that Eliksni those bad words he said that got him killed. Just because he didn't knew what it means and she used Irony, which is also not being understood by the poor guy. Unfortunately this little sad tale about misunderstanding and mistreatment and murder will go unseen by the Guardian, because Bungie doesn't bother to give us an explorable City and shootable Citizens.
@hunter that would actually be super cool and would finally put Destiny in the Word Destiny, since for all I know we have the same range of free will and Choice as the playable Charakter from Bioshock 1.

I remember I watched byf’s video for the first time and thought to myself “...Wait...Is this real?” I dunno why I’m my head I saw a captain eating ramen(I guess I just thought it was funny) but you’ve done a very fantastic job of recreating this moment.
